Not user friendly

It is more of a hindrance than helpful to access and order material.

Avantages

If you have the AkzoNobel code or the Asset # you can easily find the raw material or finished good product.

Inconvénients

If the Asset number or AkzoNobel code is not accessible, it is more difficult to find the product on EZOffice, also when I'm looking for an active product that we have at our facility, everything is showing up including retired items.

EZ Office Review

Avantages

It is relatively simple to learn and implement. I learned the basics very quickly

Inconvénients

The search feature can be annoying. Creating groups and sub groups helps narrow searches, but too often hen using the search bar, the items searched is not narrow enough. The group and sub group feature is very impotent.

I love how easy it is to check in and check out equipment, and the mobile app is super handy for on-the-go access.

Inconvénients

The report customization options are a bit limited, and I wish there were more integrations available with other software we use.

Inventory Management made easy

We have replaced our old spreadsheet with EZOfficeInventory and the result has been satisfactory

Avantages

It has a great UI and it is really easy and fast to use. It has the features you need for tracking and renting material

Inconvénients

It does not have advanced features such as better integrations with other systems. Filters could be improved as well

Good app to use for stock management

It is easy to use specially with my whole team

I dont like how only the person who reserve a stocks is the only person who can un reserve it. anyone within the team should be able to do so.

Not a lot better from a very organized excel for devices management

As a new user who has never used similar software, I have many criticisms

Avantages

It is very helpful to be able to look up an asset by serial number, asset id, comments, etc.

Inconvénients

I find it difficult to process multiple assets at once. For example, when printing tags if the batch is not easily filtered it is difficult to get everything on one download. If I want to print various tags that have nothing in common to filter by then I will have to print each one individually. It has created a situation where a missed asset number will just be abandoned and left in the retired state indefinitely. The function of check in and out has also been abandoned by my company due to the limits on members that can be added as well as the difficulty of keeping up with who should be added or deleted. It has made more sense to note in the comments who has checked out an asset because its far easier to implement and manage. Another note, we have assets that are IT related and non-IT related. It would be very helpful to be able to separate these into groups that may be associated with the admin account related to each department.

You can easily divide your IT and non IT assets on the basis of different groups and locations - the custom roles feature allows you to limit users to only their assigned groups which will in turn restrict non IT members from viewing your IT assets. There are multiple ways to pick assets from different pages but we would like to know more details as to how you are currently using it. We are currently evaluating checkouts against multiple people and we'd love to get your insights on it. Ez office review

I for the most part enjoy it and it is definitely a useful tool, not always the most efficient but definitely worth having

Avantages

I like that it is an easy way to book out equipment and see what is available to me. It definitely makes my life easier and quicker and it allows me to do it at any time which is good. Also the email/response system is great and easy to help you keep track of what you have requested

Inconvénients

The fact that you have to request one thing at a time (there is no ‘cart’ function) is frustrating because it means I have to open about 20 tabs/browser windows to request everything I need. Also we have 4 of everything thing in our inventory so it would be nice if there was a way of marking that some one had requested “kit 1” before the administrator Has had a chance to, so the other 4 People don’t request “kit 1”. When we all request the same kit (because we don’t know who else has) the administrator has to go and deny our request and then reassign a new kit to us so it would be good to cut out that whole process

Hey Georgia. We are glad you came up to us with this issue. We actually do have Cart functionality. You first need to go to settings and activate the cart. You can add multiple items from different item categories and check them out through cart or even reserve cart for a future use as well. Secondly, you can even create bundles of frequently checked out items so that everytime you don't have to select those items and bundles can be added to cart as a whole. We would like to give you a walk through of the relevant modules to make sure you are making the optimum use of our features. IT- Studio Operations Team

Avantages

I like that I can make carts for productions that are in play or in the foreseeable future.

Inconvénients

The restrictions that come along with your administrative level on the platform. On my team I have the most access to adding, editing, and managing equipment. However I do not have access to make PDF printouts of the carts that I currently have checked out.

I also dislike the fact that you cannot add items to a cart that's already checked out. This makes maintiaing and altering active orders difficult.

Pretty easy to use

Avantages

Relatively easy to use and understand how much of each item is available.

Inconvénients

I needed multiple carts to complete my order, it would not allow me to edit my previous cart to add items.

EZ Office Inventory Review

I have been using EZ for the past 4yrs and it has done what we have needed it for.

Avantages

The cost for the functionality that it offers I would say is well worth it. It does the job for what our IT Dept uses it for.

Inconvénients

I just wished the portal was a bit more visually appealing. We currently have our company logo on top but would be nice to customize the whole page.

Thank you for expressing your view to us. We give our clients the flexibility to add their company name, logo and have their own subdomain. As far as the main Dashboard screen is concerned, make sure you customize and set your own KPIs as per your requirements. Traditionally, our focus has been more on giving our customers a feature rich system but this year, especially with the launch of our new UI, we are focusing more on the aesthetic appeal and customization involved in the system. Helping us keeping control

Pretty good tool!

Avantages

We use Asset and Inventory to keep track of employers assets ant IT stock value. Works pretty good. Like the label and scanning functionality.

Inconvénients

A little messy GUI. Works ok but I am a little worried to let end users in.

It does the job

Avantages

Being able to see everything in our inventory at a glance is helpful. Also, being able to search and check items out are great functions for our organization.

Inconvénients

The item entry process takes an extremely long time and the app crashes fairly often during that process

Outstanding Customer Service

Avantages

The EZ Office Inventory support has always been top notch. The application has changed for the better over the years. Suggestions for improvements are always taken seriously and implemented if possible.

Inconvénients

Some features and work flow have been less than intuitive.

solid, easy enough, it did the job

Our company is a lot more organized now.

Avantages

It helped organize our portable devices as the cost of these devices have gone up significantly. With our company having over 200 smart phones, tracking their use history was very important to us.

Inconvénients

That it has little flexibility or integration for our needs. We would for sure like a higher user cap without having to pay more as the product is already quite pricey.

It works, but expect to get what you pay for.

Inexpensive.
Tracks fixed assets and consumables.
Allows for multiple locations.

Inconvénients

Software is very confusing. There are many inconsistencies throughout the application. It feels obvious that it was built in modules and by different teams.

The specific features – once you really understand them, they're quite helpful and fast to use.

That almost everything is not where I'm looking for it. I wish this software was more intuitive.

Effective but still considered in development

Avantages

Reliable and up to date information. The UI looks clean and is quite straightforward to understand

Inconvénients

- Dark mode would be a must, if present it should be made easily accessible to toggle.- The UI while clean and sleek does not feel consistent across a variety of other platforms- The fundamental task of asset tracking and management can be met with a simple spreadsheet. To become more desirable than a simple spreadsheet, greater effort should be poured into giving access to quick actions: (1) update one's own inventory, (2) more powerfully search for any detail across an existing repository, (3) view condensed and valuable summaries for the various types of assets, (4) automatic categorisation and pattern recognition of current assets. All of these, as an example, would be far in excess of what a spreadsheet would typically accomplish without great effort, and it's not immediately obvious if any such features are present.

Great value

API Needs Improvement

There are a lot of useful features with EZOfficeInventory, including custom thumbnails, purchase and depreciation values, check-in/-out feature, notes, and mobile scanning. I do like the features, but the overall interface and usability needs to be re-organized. Inventory scanning and tracking should help make things more organized, not feel less organized.

Avantages

I primarily use the mobile app for scanning and tracking inventory and find this very helpful to keeping my time minimal and efficient when tracking assets.

Inconvénients

The mobile and web API need an overhaul. The mobile app isn't intuitive, but rather cumbersome. The scanner also usually takes a few long seconds to recognize a barcode.

My overall experience has been good and I like it, but wish it could be a little more user friendly.

Runs slow sometimes and can be hard to maneuver around and find items in our inventory sometimes.
