Sap business one is a management software designed for midsize companies. It is an automation tool which magnifies the work of different departments such as financial, human resources and operations.

SAP on a Budget software
Avantages
This software is good for small or maybe a bit bigger businesses. It has several modules that you can take advantage. In my consulting role, it was relatively easy to help clients learn this software.
Inconvénients
This always had alot of bugs that made it difficult to do some things. There was always a work around, but waiting for things to get fixed was not fun.

A full business system from the ground up
Avantages
Business One is an excellent offering to small and medium-sized businesses. Yes, you have to learn how to use it, but once you have the basics, the system runs itself because it is fully integrated. Finance, VAT reporting, Sales, Stock Management & Purchasing (and many more areas) are fully active out of the box. I know this system will cope with our demands for years if not decades to come!
Inconvénients
Visibility of everything in the business is perfect for any business owner or management team. 1 Dash 1 and SAP provide excellent support and training.

SAP Business One - Overall a good product!
SAP Business One lets multitask and simplify the work by letting the use connect to multiple data sources at the same time. It has good features and flexibility overall. I like the posiblity to configure almost everyrhing in a simple way.

I like SAP Business One
SAP Business One is an integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) software suite which primarily serves small to medium-sized businesses with up to one hundred employees and less than $75 million in annual revenue. SAP Business One was originally developed by Israel-based TopManage Financial Systems, which was acquired by SAP in 2002. This move was a bold signal that SAP intends to serve businesses well downmarket and an acknowledgment that a new, specialized product was needed to address the requirements of those companies. SAP Business One has been well-received within the manufacturing, retail, service, and distribution industries, and can address other vertical market needs as well.

Just Do your research!
SAP is a known brand when it comes to ERP software's, but it has couple of issues when you implement it. It is a very high maintenance software and you are always dependent upon the technology consultants to do your job. The system has multiple functionalities but on the same end it makes very complicated for the new users, you need to spend allot of money if you want to get something altered.

Integrated ERP
Avantages
Provide accurate reports for you to monitor your Projects (Investment), budgets management and Financial status. That will lead you to do more wise decision.
Inconvénients
This platform is not very customizable when you input data. So you need to check properly you inputs before confirming or submitting data.

Great Product!
Avantages
I love that the inventory is so easy to do now that we use SAP Business One - All in One. The system communicates with other warehouses who drop ships for us and it is just so convenient.
Inconvénients
I couldn't say much negative about this software however the only thing I can think off to be improved is the training manuals.

Great service at best!
Avantages
Extensive customization available. Underlying SAP HANA database allows for complex business analytics. Microsoft SQL Server also available. Includes Crystal Reports for custom reporting. Can handle multiple currencies. Benefits administration module. Excellent documentation.
Inconvénients
From previous versions, the Software Development Kit (SDK) has had some errors that are still not fixed in the newest versions of the product. You can not affect the database directly trough SQL queries, so if you want to develop new functions inside the app, you have to use the SDK that includes method for each object in the system.

SAP Wholesale.
From the experience I have had using this product for the past 3 months, I think that it is a competitive product that lacks customer service support. Initially it was harder to understand and use but has improved as I have had more time with the product. It is good to keep track of our sales, customer relations etc.

Easy to use and user friendly!
SAP Business One makes multitasking very easy and simplify your life at work. The documentaion provided by SAP is amazing. A very user friendly software which you can customize fully as per your need. There is nothing to hate about this software though the interface can be improved,

I like the software...specifically user point of view...the software is not complicated as the perception was...and the only problem with the software was u can't pick the module selectively...but that was not the case for our factory so it works out best..

Too much for my purpose
Overall, I think the system is too specialized for our small clinic and other software has more efficient systems built in.
Avantages
I personally really liked the database manager, it was clunky at first but we got used to it very soon.
Inconvénients
The automatic backup service doesn't always work and seems to get stuck and bog down everything. The Query analyzer crashed the entire system twice.

I used it for expense reports. It was very easy to use and to approve. It was also easy to find past information.
Inconvénients
The system is not very flexible from an accounting standpoint. You have to match your prices to theirs.

Avantages
Very good cloud solution. Particularly suitable for small companies to map all necessary core processes. Remuneration is based on a subscription model.
Inconvénients
The functionalities are reduced to the bare minimum. If more complex requirements have to be met, Business One will quickly end.

It's a very comprehensive system. They have used best demonstrated practices from many larger clients to build a product that does about everything. I really like their partnership with Navigator SAP.

It is not intuitive and can be confounding, especially for folks used to using a patchwork system or none at all.

I would not recommend this product for manufacturing, make-to-order processes

Most basic ERP modules are included. The software will handle BOM to an extent as well as job costing.
Inconvénients
It is not really a manufacturing ERP system but it is more suited for retail businesses. In the vendor due diligence process, they were very slow.

Integrating SAP into our organization
We currently use a number of in-house developed and off the shelf products to manage our various businesses. Although we are using SAP for a small portion of our business we have taken a large step in trying to make SAP our primary system. This is our 2nd attempt to implement SAP and the reason why we are once again proceeding with this is to streamline our accounting practices and reduce the number of accounting systems we currently use. A more comprehensive review can be provided after our implementation is completed.

Multiple modules provided with the base package. Acquire one system get all the integrated systems you need.
Inconvénients
We have been waiting a long time to upgrade to new SAP version but typical to software applications this has taken an extremely long time. We have now been advised that that the new version of software is avail for uploading.

Friendly
Overall, the system is a good value for the money. It is a favorite amongst my colleagues and I would recommend it to anyone who is in the decision making process.

Customer service is not as good as you would expect them to be. Issues are not resolved in a timely fashion.

Great fit for a small business

I love that SAP Business One communicates with so many other software and freight carriers. We needed a sofware to have all in One such as accounting, logistics, manufacturing ect and Business One has it ALL!!! Recommend!
Inconvénients
I love the product fully, however I think for most people is a little hard to learn it, it does take time because of so many functions it has but other than that I love the software!
