We love everything about Tremendous. We tried dozens of alternative platforms, but Tremendous is the most useful, the fastest, and the most user-friendly (both on our side and the recipient's side).

Inconvénients

Nothing. They are really great. We would be grateful if Tremendous could add a few more specific options for some of the countries we work with. But we understand that it's a complicated process (as we ourselves could't collaborate with some regional merchants even though we really tried our best).

**TL;DR**: If you don't mind having your account canceled without warning in the middle of a reward campaign, go ahead and do business with Tremendous.

As an indie developer running a survey with a $15 monetary incentive per participant, I decided to give Tremendous a try after seeing their ads on YouTube. Initially, they required extensive documentation to verify my legitimacy, which seemed fair enough. It took about 2-3 days for my account to be approved, after which I was ready to fund and send the rewards.

However, I was informed that I couldn't use a credit card to fund the account and had to set up an ACH transfer instead. This process with Chase took another 2-3 days. After funding the account, I started sending out the survey rewards. The first 7-8 transactions were approved automatically within 24 hours.

Then the trouble started. For the next five transactions, there were no automatic approvals close to 24 hours, forcing me to contact customer support. Thankfully, these were approved within an hour, maintaining my promise of delivering the gift cards within 24 hours.

This pattern repeated for the next six transactions. After waiting nearly 24 hours, I had to contact customer support again. This time, instead of receiving assistance, my account was abruptly canceled. When I inquired about the reason, I received a canned response:

"For privacy and security purposes, we're not able to share more information about our compliance policies. We take a number of items into consideration while making these decisions. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."

This was more than an inconvenience; it was a complete disruption of the trust I was trying to build with my survey participants and potential future customers. I had to scramble to suspend my survey and personally purchase gift cards from Amazon to fulfill my promises.

For what it’s worth, Tremendous did allow me to withdraw the remaining funds from my account. However, the overall experience was highly frustrating and damaging to my campaign.

I most like that there is no fee and that it integrates with Zapier.

Inconvénients

I wish I could auto-reload without having to spend $5,000 in awards. I'm a small business and only send out $5 gift cards. It'ds going to take me awhile to get to $5,000.

Avantages

Super simple to get started and doesn't require a PHD in computer science to get going. The integrations particularly with Zapier have been an unreal help and allowed us to get what feels like a bespoke Reward platform in place without any developers.

The need to 'request' API access was something that I found a little odd and did require me to submit an application before getting access to the feature. Appreciate it is a small thing but the fact I had to wait did stagnate our project ever so slightly

Avantages

What I like most about Tremendous is its flexibility and ease of use. The platform makes it incredibly simple to offer rewards to our distributed and remote team & candidates. The interface is intuitive, and it's very easy to stay on top of expenses and invoices.

While Tremendous is highly efficient and serves its purpose, I think they can improve their customization option for the messages that come attached with the rewards. Overall I find it a bit confusing and chunky.

This is the easiest tool I've found for the management of incentives to survey respondents and qualitative research participants. I've saved a ton of time and headache with tremendous and it's my preferred platform for incentives now.

When you have multiple users for the same organization you can't load the money specifically to a single project as far as I'm aware.

I love how easy the API is to use. You can quickly create almost any integration you want and really customize the experience for your users.

I wish there was more control over seeing who has redeemed a gift card and what they used it for. You can see general analytics but not specific to each gift recipient.

It's been 4+ years now since we are using Tremendous as a crucial integrated solution linked with Salesforce Sales cloud for sending rewards in batches. We had no issues during implementation and no downtimes since day one. New feature for fraud prevention seems really promising! Campaigns are very easy to setup, though slightly more customization options would be a plus. Customer support is awesome, always willing to help! Great variety of options and very reasonable fees! Overall, we are very pleased with Tremendous as reliable solution and would recommend it to every business in need of sending rewards!

Nothing major, we truly love Tremendous. Offering more options outside of the US, like India for example would be awesome.

Tremendous is an east to use platform. I mainly use this for tracking, and monitoring the status of my clients. It has an easy to read display without having to search out data content. Reports are updated quickly and print without hassle.

Sometimes it is hard to get help questions answered in real time.

Love the ease of integration, can automate my workflows in a flash. Via Zapier you can connect Tremendous with just about anything and still have necessary controls. It is really important to us to have international capabilities and having that option included within a campaign instead of having to send them separately was a game changer. Adding our branding to campaigns was incredibly easy. So nice to have options to carry out actions in bulk by CSV as well. I haven't had to use customer support as I've always been able to find answers in the help guides.

Inconvénients

Haven't had any complaints yet. While I'd love to pay with credit card to get points, it makes more sense to use invoicing and bank transfers to avoid the credit card processing fees via Tremendous.

The platform offers a wide variety of gift cards, and we can let recipients choose the ones they prefer, which adds a personal touch. You can send the gift cards via email or text, customize the amount, and the process is incredibly easy to use. Best of all, there are no additional costs beyond the price of the gift card itself.

Avantages

One of my favorite things about Tremendous is that it was extremely simple and intuitive to start with, despite its strong feature set. The ability to use your own companies branding in the outreach emails that participants see is a significant bonus, and letting research participants choose their reward saves a lot of headache and complaint. Overall, the experience from the participant's end is greatly improved over simply sending Amazon gift cards - much more professional, easy to use, and leaves a paper trail with analytics features. Additionally, international research participants had been complicated before using Tremendous, since there are a variety of regulations regarding international gift card distribution. Letting Tremendous handle that instead is a huge time saver.

Inconvénients

I do wish there was a way to set an "expiration date" with distributed incentives, allowing to recoup some wasted costs. I would also really enjoy some reporting features about who has and has not opened the emails with rewards, allowing me to send reminder emails and reach out to people who may have had emails go to spam. Integrating some more robust delivery tracking features would certainly be a plus.

I love Tremendous. I use it daily and will use it at future jobs too. It's so easy to use. I send gift cards to our customers daily. We send gift cards if users complete surveys, or leave us a review, or if they provide helpful feedback. Sending a quick $10 gift card is easy as pie with Tremendous. It takes 30 seconds. We set up different campaigns for many countries. We have users all over the world, and they support so many countries. If they don't support a country (rare) we can still send a charity gift card.

There isn't anything I dislike. I love Tremendous. It's a simple, straightforward app and isn't cluttered with unnecessary features.

The platform is incredibly intuitive and user-friendly. It's a breeze to create templates, and all activity is saved in the history. Not to mention, the platform is reliable and sends to almost anywhere in the world, which is a huge asset for our work as we send gift cards to clients and employees worldwide.

The Tremendous platform is legit intuitive, with no need for tutorials or support pages. I found their customer service to be prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable.

I appreciate the branding customization, allowing our entity to stand out without any additional costs. Also, no setup fees, monthly charges, or surcharges is a major plus. Having the ability to adjust rewards according to the recipient's country and the option for recipients to donate their reward to a charity are sublime features. I’ll be using them for the foreseeable future.

Inconvénients

Tremendous is nearly perfect with its free platform, clean website, and customizable branding. A minor issue (last time I issued rewards) is the lack of clarity between 'delivered' and 'redeemed' rewards, as it's unclear if the recipient has used their reward. I wish this element of the platform were more evident.

Tremendous is a wonderful software to boost company morale and recognition. I like how there are so many different reward options. My employees have enjoyed the perk so far. I also create fun games and competitions amongst my employees and use the cards from Tremendous as a prize.

Tremendous has been a great aid in boosting employee engagment within my company. The company's customer service is always top tier and there whenever I had a question or needed help getting set up. My favorite feature is being able to send bulk reward cards at one time.
