One request I'd ask is that those who are on a VISA or have other right to work documents that is not a UK passport. It would be great if the report pulled the exact document they had for instance, rather than stating the person is on a 'visa' that expires on x. It would be good if the type of visa was specified e.g Tier 2, graduate etc.

As a teacher I am often asked by former pupils to submit references for job applications. Zinc provides a really easy to use and efficient way to request and submit a reference.

There were a couple of review questions where the options in answer were rather limited (eg there was no option for 'First time user' when asked how often do you use Zinc?!

My most liked feature about the software is how instantly I got responses about my documents uploaded. There was always constant communication.

Something that could be improved is the reference check option. When details are entered and a mistake is made, there is no option to edit the details entered and one would need to reach out to Zinc to have this updated, this could possibly delay the process.

The criminal check description is not clear. For example, I am Ukrainian and live now in the UK. What check should I pass - Ukraine or UK? What documents should I load, etc?Also, this check takes a long time and you can not see any progress on it.

Timeliness, responsiveness and conciseness of what is expected of user with being ambiguous made me like their process.Unlike other reference checks and background checks,Zinc was very reliable and informed user at every stage and what is expected and what can be done to complete each stage. This was very encouraging.

The only area I can point out is the process of inputting signature in the form ,it was a bit complex.

I like how well it integrates with our ATS. It's easily built in as a step in our Greenhouse processes, and integrates really well into our process. We started using this product when we added references between first and second interviews. The support has been outstanding, every minor issue receives prompt attention and we had total support during setup. We're a tech company and I like how slick the interface is; it allows responses via text and we get the responses more quickly that way. The system is also highly customize-able.

I really don't have a ton of constructive feedback. It's working well for what we need and we can change as our needs evolve.
