Freedcamp for Higher Ed IT Project Management
It just works and helps minimize the amount of communication overhead with team members when compared with other products. If you've used a social networking platform and a task list, you can use Freedcamp.
Avantages
The value proposition for the price was outstanding. Core desired features are included without a mandatory subscription at the highest level. Licensing is also based on role and flexible use. This keeps operational costs low .
Inconvénients
There is a lack of task dependencies/linking unless leveraging the highest edition if the product. Also, areas of the UX make performing bulk operations difficult (e x: mass assignment of status/priority/assignee)

Great product for simple project management and collaborating on tasks
I needed something that would allow us to easily create, assign, and share tasks on various projects, and quickly see the status of the projects and tasks. And I wanted something affordable. Other options I looked at were more complex and designed for large complex projects, making the learning curve steep and the price high. After trying several of these we've found that Freedcamp has been the perfect solution for us.
Avantages
The product is very easy to set up and start using. It has a rich set of features for managing tasks and tracking the state of projects and tasks. It's ability to create custom fields and filter views on them, as well as any of the built in fields, is particularly useful.
Inconvénients
In a few ways the interface requires more steps than should be necessary. For example, to edit a task requires clicking on the task, clicking the Edit button, making your changes, then clicking Save. I'd prefer to simply click (or double click) on a task to open it directly in Edit mode. In email exchanges with them they have told me they are working on revamping and streamlining the interface.
The documentation does not always adequately explain how features work. Consequently the learning curve is steeper than it should be, though certainly not onerous. And, their quick response times to requests for help and knowledgeable support staff offset this well.

Perfect Contract Work Organizer
I couldn’t do what i do without it!!
Avantages
I have been using Freedcamp for years now. I have worked with large advertising companies and marketing firms all while maintaining my own contract side-hustle. The large companies use sophisticated software like Basecamp which can take awhile to fully learn and can be confusing with multiple people interacting across departments.
For myself, i love Freedcamp because of its simplicity (based on my settings) and ability to quickly view open tasks and where my daily priorities are.
Inconvénients
Not much option for customization. Like having a dark theme. I have sensitive eyes and my Mac is all dark themed. So viewing FC for extended time tends to cause me to squint.
Also, it would be nice to be able to have an avatar/logo for each client (task) for a more visual experience.

Daily Project Management
Avantages
The visual kanban organization of "tasks" as well as the cloud base access drew me in to using this software. I use this to manage customer queries for engineering requests under a single "project". I create ~250 new requests each year while continuing to close/service ~ 90 old requests that require revisions. Freedcamp allows me to add notes internal to each task as well as externally add visual subtasks for immediate daily status updates of the active engineering request tasks. The task kanbans get moved between three existing columns: NoProgress, InProgress and Completed for immediate status feedback.
Inconvénients
My use case has been adapted to the software organization limits to limit the data input overhead of assigning each engineering request as a "task" to each engineer to work on. The software is better organized to handle long term "projects" than my numerous engineering tasks. However, I have made it work within Freedcamp but I realize that my use case is not the typical project management scenario.

The best free to use project management software!
It's been great. I haven't had any problems and the information they give you on their website is true. It is 100% free.
Avantages
Freedcamp is, to put it simply, AWESOME. I've tried so many project management software and freedcamp is by far my favorite. It is free, easy to use, intuitive for my clients, and full of so many great features!
These features include task lists, the ability to assign tasks to clients, due dates, item priority levels, reminders for upcoming deadlines, communication with clients, file management, & so much more.
I have more than 40 projects on the free version and it has made my jobs go so much more smoothly. My clients are happy and so am I!
The paid options are also great if you need a more robust project management software.
Inconvénients
The one feature I would love to have is the ability to create a project that has all the items I use for every client and duplicate that project for each new client. Right now I have to set up a new project each time. I believe this may be a feature of the paid version that I have not tested out yet!

Excellent Software even better customer service
Excellent experience and happy with the features and support I have received. The software keeps all our projects in front of us and holds us all accountable since you can assign different tasks to different people.
I would recommend Freedcamp to others and encourage them to do the free trial, but watch the tutorials first.
Avantages
The customer service is amazing. They respond quickly and truly want to work with you to help you with your needs.
The software is customizable for different industries and needs, and the tutorials are easy to listen to and follow. We really like that you can also save important discussions within each project and attach files to each project you may need. It is a one stop shop that allows us to see what needs to be done and keep everything in one easy to access place. It also holds each member of the project accountable as you can assign various tasks to different people within the project.
Inconvénients
I wish the filters on the task page had more capabilities but again they have been working with me trying to help me get the functionality I need. The calendar feature is also a little hard to use for my needs but I am sure they will add more features as time goes on.

Avantages
It's a solid platform without any glitches and errors. It has many features but I personally like their bulk task creation, you can import a list from an excel file and create tasks in bulk, don't know of many PM tools that have this feature. It also many other 3rd party integrations and works seamlessly.

Good free tool but a bit complicated sometimes
The experience is quite good, but it's a shame that little effort has been put into improving the user experience and making the tool simpler and more effective for everyone.
Avantages
- Lots of functionality even in the free version
- Organization by project and by group
- Ease of adding new members
Inconvénients
- Not enough link between tasks, discussions and the calendar, which means that we are sometimes a bit lost to find some discussions around projects.

Avantages
I love Freedcamp. I've been trying different systems for ten years now, at least 7 and over the time there were always annoying issues with most of them Not so with Freedcamp. It's easy to use and has absolutely everything you can dream of besides the chat feature. We use discussions and wiki a lot.
It's super stable and has tons of space for files upload. The password sharing comes very handy too.

A practical solution for managing projects
It doesn't disappoint. I've tried many project management tools, but seem to always find my way back to Freedcamp.
Avantages
Beyond being easy to use, it has a lot of practical and useful features. In particular, the time tracker, wiki, password vault, and issue tracker to name a few.
I was able to simplify many of my processes by just using Freedcamp to manage large projects.
Since I pay for the Enterprise plan, I'm able to brand the portal, which is fantastic!
Inconvénients
I wish there was an automated way to create a new project from a template via Zapier. I reached out to support who mentioned that I may have to pay to add such a feature because it is not on the roadmap. We'll see what happens. It isn't a deal breaker, just would help improve my process.

Better than Basecamp for a one-woman show like me!
Freedcamp helps me stay organized so I feel like I'm on top of my workload, instead of drowning in it!
Avantages
I've only been using Freedcamp for a few weeks, but I like it better than any other PM program I've used. Most are built for teams - and this one can certainly be used that way - but unlike the others, it works very, very well for a "solopreneur." I love that I can organize my work by client, but still get a holistic view of the work due for the days ahead.
I also like that it's so easy to use that adding tasks doesn't feel like a task unto itself. Freedcamp is fitting very nicely into my workflow. Another benefit: like Basecamp, it emails out a daily snapshot, in case you're like me and view your email on your phone before you get to your desk. It's nice to see what's ahead for the day before I sit down for the daily grind.
Honestly, this is so good, I can't believe it's free. And I've only scratched the surface of available features!
Inconvénients
I wish there was a setting that said I was on my own so I didn't have to remember to assign things to myself.

Lifeline for a busy creative team with no budget
Freedcamp allows me to easily organize upwards of 400 projects a year with anywhere from 8-20 tasks per project while providing an easy view for my team of the various tasks they need to take on each day.
Avantages
Even as a free user, the Freedcamp team does not hesitate to provide me with support when I need it and even helps me to improve my processes with workarounds for features that are available in the paid product.
Inconvénients
I would like to have more ability to customize the system for my use, but I'm not one who can speak well to this as I have yet to get authorization to upgrade beyond the free version, so I know my functionality is limited.

Versatile Project Management Tool, Good Team Functionality, Affordable Pricing
Avantages
I've been using Freedcamp for a few simpler projects and it has everything you need:
- Gantt charts to get a bird's eye view of your project
- easy storage of passwords, access codes etc.
- define tasks and subtasks
- Create tasks either as a list or arrange them in a sticky like note fashion
- You can extend the app with addons you can get from a built-in App Store
Also it's great for collaborating with other members as it's very simple to invite external users to your projects to work together
Inconvénients
The interface is a bit old school for my taste and the task options are quite basic out of the box.
Being able to create invoices is a nice feature, but it's a bit cumbersome and unfortunately too basic for European law. Day to day features like reverse charge invoices between members of the EU are not possible to do because there doesn't seem to be any way to add text fields to invoices to include e.g. the customer's VAT number.
What's also lacking is a thorough right's management. E.g. you work together with a freelancer who can set the price he is charging you, but cannot see which price you put into a custom field he doesn't have access to.
Apart from that I'm quite happy about the software actually.
Réponse de Freedcamp

Easy to use and straight to the point
I've been using freedcamp for over 3 years and set up home and my small business projects. Even inviting my parents was very easy and they didn't have problems using the software.
The interface is very clear and intuitive - you get exactly the results you expect. The calendar view is very useful to see upcoming tasks at a glance.
Also most of the interface is quite compact - no unneeded spaces allows to show more taks on the screen (save for mentioned "Add Task" field)
Overall I'm very satisfied with the software. It has everything I need without overwhelming me with unwanted features.
Avantages
- clear layout,
- ease of assigning dates, teammembers and priorities to taks,
- helpful reminders
- mobile app
- layered task help to organize the project
- intuitive to set up and use.
Inconvénients
- no second sorting parameter (sort by X then by Y). Unhiding completed tasks can lead to unsorted mess of a list.
- sorting by progress only sorts first task list in the project, the others don't sort.
- every task list features a large bar below to enter new taks. This takes to much screen real estate and prolongs the view of the project.

Freedcamp helps keep me on target
I used to believe I performed a task when in reality, I didn't. With Freedcamp, I keep track of what I did and didn't yet accomplish. When I have multiple projects underway, I can track them all, and have reminders to complete what I need to do. I'd be lost without Freedcamp.
Avantages
After a stroke at 56, I needed a solution to make sure I didn't miss important deadlines and tasks in my job and freelance work. Freedcamp is easy to use and fits my needs. I could easily expand it to include other people. The learning curve isn't steep, and I keep adding projects as needed so I know at any point what I need to accomplish. I love using Freedcamp and recommend it often.
Inconvénients
I know the paid version has additional functionality, but I'd like to add start and due dates for tasks and subtasks without the fee.

Provenance de l'avis
Freedcamp has done a lot for me and I feel attached.
For the past year I've been performing an unconventional role as area manager for two movie theatres in Silicon Valley. In March of 2013 I began overseeing both locations without a conventional general manager installed at either location. In customer service and retail industries this kind of flat "start up" organizational structure is unheard of. The "boss" was always off site and the managers were expected to function as a team without any hierarchy. I knew that a key aspect of this radical experiment in re-structuring would be to empower each of the managers to act on behalf of the company while also giving them a way to communicate upstream and downstream with little effort, so that I could "see" what was going on during each shift and the upper management and floor staff could also witness the engagement and commitment of the management team.
After test-driving a few social "project" services, I chose Freedcamp.
In addition to the cornerstone of manager logs, I use your system for staff schedules, facility maintenance task assignments, HR, special event coordination, logging vacation time, marketing/promotions, emergency forms for police and fire, reporting grosses to studios, a wishlist where all 50 employees can voice their desires for the company, and more. Every department in my company utilizes Freedcamp for something. I was unaware my HR department was using the manager logs until they demonstrated that they were using the search function to look up employees' names and track behaviour over time in advance of disciplinary action. I didn't show them how, they just took the initiative. This was the first clue I got that I wasn't "forcing" the system--that other departments were getting easy access to more information than they had before. A third satellite location in our company is overseen by a technophobe, who has recently and vigorously adapted to the Freedcamp-based maintenance system I developed without my coaching him at all, and now he posts more than anyone else. This is final proof that what I've instituted using your software is self-sustaining, creating a much-needed flow of information within a small but disjointed company that has grown in fits and spurts since 1975.
When I took on the new role a year ago, I lost six managers in one month. The strain of the "boss-less" system was too great without some additional infrastructure. Since introducing Freedcamp, my attrition rate is zero. No one wants to leave now.

A decent and capable product
It has been a good experience so far. Freedcamp is a great way to store and share key documents amongst a team, as well as a great way to channel communication to avoid constant long email chains and to streamline some processes.
Avantages
It gives us a good way to structure some of our projects and store files which function as a reference point for a geographically diverse team, which is great. There are a lot of good features that have the potential to help us run our organisation better, too, which we are only just starting to explore - I am confident that there is a lot more Freedcamp can do for us if we let it!
Inconvénients
I have found it to not always be very intuitive to use. As a bit of a novice with this sort of software, setting up the right relationships for teams and team members is a bit fiddly. Some of the project structuring can also be a bit clunky. I have experienced issues with the Online Edit tool, too, which does not always seem to work.

My reasons - flexibility and a low threshold of entering
The first thing I noticed about Freedcamp was its flexibility. Freedcamp doesn't limit the number of members in the project, or the number of projects. It has limits though by features enabled in your projects. This allows you to have a piece of mind when you create a new project. You simply know it is free for any number of participants and if you will need a paid feature ' cost is fixed and is affordable. Any extra module can be purchased separately for the project at any time. If you need Invoices for a particular project, you buy the module. If you need Issue Tracker ' also buy the required module. In this case, you only pay for the functions needed at a particular time. Project is finished and you don't need it' Simply cancel subscription.
The second important aspect of the system is a low threshold of entering. It is hard to achieve, based on my evaluations of other system, but Freedcamp truly empowers my team and customers, educate them and show how such tool saves time. It allows to be more effective, work better together and gives us a competitive advantage because our journey with the client gives them new experience they buy. We just say: 'We are going to use Freedcamp. It doesn't require any special skills or special trainings'. Also, they shouldn't check Freedcamp all the time, they receive emails with all discussions and updates in tasks by email, including art work we attached. Freedcamp's basic functionality doesn't have any features aimed to specify type of business, being, in some sense, universal. In other systems, where they create vertical market PM tool (for engineers, marketers, designers etc.) ' language, UI can mislead and turn off clients making project a failure.
Personally, I also like ability to add new version to my attachments anywhere in Freedcamp. In my job it's very important, because it allows not to litter a discussion or a task with dozens of copies of the same image by constantly posting minor changes. Instead, Freedcamp allows simply add a new version to an old attachment, while retaining the ability to see all previous changes in a well done interface.
Of course, I don't want to say it has all I want to see, but feature set and design that exists now, and my conversations with Freedcamp team, which is always available and not only listens but reacts quickly for my personal bug reports and feature requests, leads me to believe that it will evolve to be an even better tool for me and my team.

Avantages
I've tested a lot of pm's in the last decade or so, lately from new kids on the block to stablished one's, and I can say, Freedcamp is THE best investment I made in my business.
When you open the tool, things just work, the flow just makes sense, and everything you need to manage a project is there. If you need more power, you can activate the add-ons, or if you have a simple project, you can deactivate them.
The bug-tracker is awesome, and it was a game changer for us, when you use it with the email in feature. It's possible to set an email per project, task, subtask or the bug tracker, and have everything within one dashboard.

Review
I am doing my best to organize my day and projects - to stay on top of it. I am looking forward to the reporting feature to recap projects or the work I've done.
Avantages
I originally started using Freedcamp because it was free and was equivalent to paid project management systems. I have not used any of the upgrades yet but open to exploring. I like that it allows me to add many projects and invite people to collaborate. I usually balance 10 projects at a time and it makes quick reviews easy.
Inconvénients
Over the years I find myself back and forth from Freedcamp to notebooks and paper calendars. I often find I would like the system to be a little more user friendly and get lost in "how do I get back to that page?" Maybe that will come with repetitive use. I am recently using it more, but still get hung up. BUT, I am grateful it is free and offers most of the same as a paid online system.
I wish the app offered more, sometimes I don't use the system because I am not at a computer and avoid using the app.
Maybe it is different, the analytical creators of software: everything linear. Creatives sometimes enjoy easy!

Freedcamp is awesome project management software!
Free use of software which has everything needs to project management tasks and teams.
Avantages
Freedcamp offers a huge amount of features and functionality within it's software including time tracking, password lockers along with the hugely effective and simply project management platform. Given alot of the main features are available on the free version it's an invaluable tool for any business, whether just starting out or a small team on a tight budget!
Inconvénients
We had to stop using it as when enquiring about whether they were GDPR friendly they'd said at the time they were not going to be - might be a different story now.
Réponse de Freedcamp
Hi,
We completed all steps to be GDPR compliant, update privacy policy and changed all workflows to be compliant. We are awaiting final approval for Privacy Shield Protection certification.

It was struggle, struggle and struggle again
See above
Switching to another tool (basecamp) was something I lobbied and asked and could support myself through my organisation but the project coordinator who liked the tool was not in favour of any changes. The project is almost over, I will be happy to forget this nightmare.
Please do more usability testing and make software user friendly!
Avantages
The only thing I liked it that the person who implemented it seemed to enjoy all the intricacies of the tool . I can imagine that computer science background was of help to this person. Otherwise, as a user I found this the worst software package I had to use in my entire professional life.
Inconvénients
3 years of struggle with each functionality of the tool - discussion threads, status, notifications etc. make it impossible to name one thing. I wonder whether there was any form of usability testing with new users ? I doubt it.
I conquered the tool each time I needed some response from colleagues badly however it was never easy and I gave up doing an additional e-mail round to be sure the message reached the addressee.
Réponse de Freedcamp
Hi! I'm sorry you had a bad experience. We rarely get complaints like these, but we will consider implementing more usability testing.
I would also like to add that we have no record of you ever being in contact with our support team, so I think the 1/5 rating in that category is a bit unfair.

Very useful yet complicated
As I said, at first it was not so users friendly, it took quite a while to get used to it, I felt it was not so intuitive, but now we're getting more and more used to it. Still, the tutorials are very useful and sometimes we have to stop the work flow a while to watch them as part of the team work to help each other. It's been useful to communicate each other and establish responsibilities and separate them.
Avantages
It has a lot of pros: adding links, uploading files, tagging workmates, alerts with e-mails, notifying, reminders, subdividing tasks.
Inconvénients
There is no way to subdivide the sub-tasks at the calendar and tagging those sub-tasks for different people. Sometimes the sub-tasks have different schedules and the post-production has dates out of the due date (such as a follow-up date for customers or contacts). It was not so users friendly at first to get used to, not so intuitive, but now we're getting more into it.

Overall Pleased
I've been using Freedcamp for 2 and a half years and it keeps me and my team very organized.
Avantages
I love the ease of assigning projects and recycling them for later uses. I also love the ease of communicating with my team via each task.
Inconvénients
I don't like how I can't share many files with my team due to the size.

Great free alternative to Basecamp for project management
I use the software mostly for managing freelance software development. It has every feature I need.
Avantages
Very easy to get organized by projects, with their associated tasks lists, timers, and activity records. The timers are specially useful for billing. The collaborative aspects are also good, comparable to those of Basecamp.
Inconvénients
I have very rarely found a feature hard to find, but in such case support was very fast to answer.

Best project management tool for your wallet
I depend on Freedcamp every day! I don't have a backup solution at this level of feature set and pricing.
Their new iOS app is coming along. I hope they come up with a tablet/ipad version. I think there would be real power in using that over the smartphone.
Avantages
Freedcamp can do a lot! I use it for:
- managing tasks and projects
- housing my internal knowledge base (wiki)
- storing important files
- communicating with teammates
The sub-folders are great.
I'm looking forward to their tagging feature that they are planning on releasing this quarter.
Inconvénients
I would like it to let me convert a task into a wiki and keep all of the attached files with it. Right now, I would have to manually create a wiki page and re-upload everything, which is time consuming and so I haven't actually taking on this task.
I've yet to take advantage of their other features:
CRM - If this were integrated with 3rd parties, it would be immediately useful
Time tracking - I use a 3rd party so that I can keep track on a macro level, not down to the project or task level.
Passwords - Not sure how robust and secure this is.

Freedcamp, one of the easiest ways to organize your projects
We mainly use Freedcamp for the time input functions. We have used some of the milestone features and calendar features but already have other calendars and methods of organization for those.
Avantages
I love that the free option is extremely usable. We haven't had to pay for it because we mainly use it for time management on video projects we work on as a team. It's super easy to keep active projects upfront and archive older projects. I love that I can go back to projects from years ago to compare it to new projects. This makes my estimate process extremely easy.
Inconvénients
I would love to see the ability to record hours against a budgeted amount so that we can easily see which areas we still have hours left compared to the contract. For now, we have just implemented a prefix for each hourly input so that it is easy to export a document broken down and organized to send to the client if needed.

A lot of options to manage your project
The most complete free tool to manage and monitoring your projects.
Avantages
It is very complete, because besides the normal tools of a free project tool like Gantt Chart and calendar, you can also manage milestones, discussions, a wiki tool, a wall and my favorite the issue tracker, that allows you to search and speficic task to modify or add information, I think that Freedcamp is one the best free option to work in projects.
Inconvénients
You need people very engage to work with you in this kind of app, because it demands a lot of time and responsability, and if you do not work with the right people you have to know that the app will not do the work for you, because it is only a help.

a must on our daily work
the most important for us, having this kind of software, is having all the things related to a specific project in one single place... also the communication between us and the client becomes more fluid and we avoid having a LOT of e-mails creating confusion
Avantages
what we really like on this kind of software is that we can have all the information related with the project in a single place... also the communication between us and the client becomes more fluid and this is really important for us.
Inconvénients
it could be great if we have a desktop app to work and to avoid having all the time to open the browser. We found that in some browsers (specially safari) some features don't work all the time... sometimes work, other no...

We used Freedcamp for project-managing our rural community-based fundraising event.
Avantages
You can just jump in and use it without any advanced computer skills and your data is regularly backed up. It's just so easy to get up and going immediately. You can run multiple projects at a time.
The other things I really like about Freedcamp is the speedy, knowledgeable and friendly help desk service, as well as the ability to post suggested improvements in a public forum that other users can comment and vote on. It's like being part of a development team all working to create the best programme possible.
Also, Freedcamp kindly sponsored our non-profit community event by giving us access to all the add-ons at no cost. Apart from producing a wonderful product, it demonstrates a social conscience that is a rarity today. We are extremely grateful to them for supporting us.
Inconvénients
I honestly can't think of a thing. It did everything we needed it to. I would recommend it to others in a heartbeat - particularly to small community groups that don't use project management software on a regular basis or have a large organisation behind them with lots of computer skills. This isn't to say it's not a complex and well-engineered product suitable for a wide range of organisations and businesses - simply that it's designed so that people with ALL levels of experience can use it.
If I had to make a comment on what I'd like to see with Freedcamp, it would be that it is more widely advertised online so that when people search for project management software, it's right there in your face and you don't have to go looking through lists of other, more complex and expensive options. :-)

Freedcamp is great for me
I instruct a couple of outsourcers using Skype. But once things get other than simple - ie we are working on 2-3 or more tasks simultaneously, I need to track each task: Freedcamp fits the bill. It could be easier to use here and there but it's a workhorse that does the job I used to use paid-for Basecamp for. And it does it well.
Avantages
It allows me to instruct several staff members and track what they are doing, and the thread of our convos.
Inconvénients
It takes a bit of getting your head around using it. There are a few usability issues, but I use the free version and it suits my purposes brilliantly.

Love it. I used Basecamp for a while, and Freedcamp is better IMO. I submitted a feature request one time and the owner engaged me in more conversation about why I wanted that feature. That is the only time that has ever happened!

Love using Freedcamp!
Avantages
Easy to use! I used Freedcamp to create project templates, each with their own range of task lists, tasks, and subtasks. Love that I can put individual due dates on each task and subtask of the template, and then be able to create a new project and shift all due dates relative to a chosen date. Can have all tasks show up on Google Calendar with a handy integration, and can choose what filters apply to calendars. Simply awesome to use, would absolutely recommend!

Easily the Best Lightweight PM Tool around
I needed a new lightweight PM tool. Checked out old faithful, (Basecamp). Ugh. Don't need to spend the money for these small projects. Tried Asana. Ok, but weird interface I could never get used to. Tried Meisterwork. (I think that was the name.) It wasn't bad, but it didn't wow me.
Then I found Freedcamp. Wow! I signed up immediately, and have been using it literally every day for 6 months now. I manage a bunch of smallish projects all the time. None of them last long, but there are too many tasks and too many projects and too many statuses to do it on paper.
Wow, do I love this little program.
Like Basecamp, it does not do GANTT charts or WBS or Earned Value calculations or all that high-end NASA-centric calculating. What it does do is allow me to manage a butt-load of different projects with lots of tasks without losing my mind.
It even has a time tracker.
Avantages
I love the "bulletin board" interface option. Love the drag-n-drop status updates. Love the way it manages teams, files, projects. Love the ability to categorize & group. Actually, I love almost everything about this project.
Inconvénients
There is NOTHING I don't like about this. It's like they crawled inside my head and designed the EXACT light project management tool I imagined.

The Best Program Management Software Around
I have used Freedcamp for years, relied on it for years, and now can't imagine doing business without it.
Avantages
The ability to run multiple projects across diverse geographic locations and with different team members across multiple suppliers is critical to running any program of work. Freedcamp handles this very well and gives me back control over my very varied projects. With its excellent task visibility I can monitor the progress of my team members, enabling me to identify any road blocks and blast through them. It helps me know where I should be putting my focus, and improves my efficiency. It's why I run several different instances across my multiple businesses.
Inconvénients
Some of the interfaces and navigation can be a bit clunky (i.e. not intuitive), but then I am stretching the program to its limits.

Freed Camp Dreams
to help organize daily task and keep me from missing items that can cost lots of time and money.
Avantages
I like the ability to break up tasks per project with due dates.
The ability to and files and pictures is handy.
The task high priority and low priority helps me filter daily task overload.
I have tried a bunch of task management programs and this is my favorite.
Please try to keep it simple on the surface but have the details if you really need them.
Inconvénients
I was dreaming some may we could add a highlight on priority tasks a couple different colors.
Adding tasks on the phone app is a little bit of a stretch with the finger and hard to get to.
if i want to print out tasks for a project and give to some one that don't have a computer the print out is hard to understand and small font.

Similar Software Doesn't Compare
Avantages
I like the ease of use of this product, from creating tasks to tracking time it's all very easy. Another thing I like that others don't seem to adopt is the task views, I personally like the Kanban view which allows you to mark tasks as: No Progress, In Progress, and Completed. Lastly, adding new users is a breeze as well as assigning them new tasks once they are added.
Inconvénients
For my needs which is discussing tasks with team members and tracking time it suits me well. The only thing I might suggest is adding the ability to have another status for the Kanban view. Meaning the ability to add one such as "Needs Reviewed". I currently have great communication with team members but I'm sure this would help for bigger teams.
