I thought the customer support was great.

Avantages

I really think the ease of use of this software is a huge pro. I could not get over how easy it is to use.

Inconvénients

I honestly cannot say there are really any cons for this software except for maybe the price slightly.

Roll Bar

Pretty good overall, does its job well. and is reliable.

Avantages

I like that its stays up to date and has simple yet strong monitoring and reports errors well.

Inconvénients

It can be a little hard at first to get used to, but that may be because I'm not tech savvy. Also the graphs aren't that good.

Rollbar has great value on the free plan

We use Rollbar free to debug our product errors. It is pretty easy to use and offers all the functionality we need to fix our production exceptions. The design is not always the greatest (you can see a Bootstrap template) but it does the job!

Everything I need for my Saas

I have tried many other services for keeping track of errors and bugs in my application but none of them offer the value that Rollbar does.

The implementation is super easy and with just a few lines of code, my app is sending bugs to their server.

On the website all the information is one click away and you can generate very useful reports, and always be on top of your app.

Their customer service is also very fast and pricing is great.

I highly recommend their services.

Rollbar and their 3rd party integrations has made our small team highly effective

We have a small technical team at our startup. We switched to Rollbar recently from one of the other exception handling services because of their integrations and their UI.

We've integrated Rollbar across all of our staging, demo and production environments and the organization of multiple environments and the integrations with third-party services has allowed us to develop a very powerful workflow.

I would highly recommend adding Rollbar to your next project.

Avantages

It can manage each error like an incident in Pagerduty or a ticket in Zendesk.
Intelligent clustering and grouping of error occurrences by 10^n. Lots of flexibility in alerting rules.
Rollbar is enterprise-ready and has on-premise deployments.

Inconvénients

The pricing Rollbar has offered via its plans. It is on the higher side when compared with other Crash Reporting tools
To many script updates (in a short time), the update should be easier (ex. having a central repository in Rollbar for each major version)

Useful

Avantages

I love to keep tracking errors with a valuable data like how many times error popup, by how many different IP addresses etc.

Inconvénients

Some notifications might be better, so we can react when an error occurs as soon as possible. It provides a User ID, but It is not meaningful. Slack integration would be great!

Very nice tool to understand user engagement and exception alerts

I have been using rollbar for a couple of weeks now in my MVP it is very useful in tracking real-time events and exceptions is on the client side.

Very easy it to add it your web app and you are all set to receive exception alerts as well as important events.

I already depend on it to understand user engagement.

Only thing is I find it a bit expensive for a very early startup.

Rollbar is great for tracking my errors!

I started using Rollbar a few weeks ago and my experience was really awesome.
Integrating with my Ruby on Rails application was just a matter of minutes.
Afterwards, all of my errors were directly shown in the extremely easy to use dashboard and I could realize how many I had, that I was not having into account.
This helped me to start solving all of the errors and my app starting working much better.

I extremely recommend it!

Quick and easy error reporting

It took us minutes to set-up rollbar as we use Laravel which has a very useful integration directly available.

The PHP package was not as well developed as other languages, but has been improving. The developers are quite responsive to issues raised on their Github pages and there have been several releases since we started using it.

The HipChat and JIRA integration has been useful too!

Avantages

There are a lot of good options for configuring meaningful alerts, and lots of good presentations of data

Inconvénients

It can be a bit overwhelming coming in as a new user, but I think that will fade with time and usage

Avantages

Rollbar is without question the best full-stack application error and exception monitoring system. It allows for quick, simple error monitoring.

Probably the best error tracking tool!

It's very easy to connect with the application. It has a really powerful interface where you can find number of occurences, browse through all of them.

I really like the flexibility of sending notfications - you can use email, slack, etc. and make different rules for different situations. And they have a decent API as well!

Error Tracking made easy

Rollbar helps us to keep on top of errors before our customers even notice there's a problem. We've used various different error tracking services, but Rollbar has been the most effective, reliable and easy to use. This combined with seamless github integration means we're now switching all our error tracking to Rollbar.

Best Error Tracking System

I have tried other error tracking systems for php and found that Rollbar has the best support that i can find for most frameworks. If the system is not natively implemented for a framework a google search will reveal that there are community members that have built implementation for rollbar.

Good way to log website errors

I've been using Rollbar on a site under development, and it's been great for alerting me to errors as they come up. It's pretty easy to click around and see data about the error, but interpreting that data requires some technical expertise. I'm using the free Heroku add-on.

We love Rollbar. When an error arises (it happens...) it allows us to quickly focus in solving...

At radiocut.fm we think it's a no-brainer to use Rollbar: the pricing is a perfect fit for us, we like the different groupings, even the "People" tab where the errors are grouped by user, and many more things! Thanks Rollbar, keep building an awesome product!

The best tracking software on earth

We relay on Rollbar for almost two years in obido. It's a great tool, if you want to be sure, that your application is healthy.

We used in previous projects some other tools, but there is no better error tracking platform.

Really simply and easy to use. Great replacement for airbrake.io

Decided to stop using airbrake and use rollbar instead, so far no regrets. Its very easy to use and has great documentation and customer support.

Much better than Sentry

We were using Sentry but after their downtime problems we decided to move to Rollbar. Rollbar is very stable and we actually like it much more. I fully recommend it!

Cool software error notification

I use rollbar for error notification for askcareermuse.com on Slack. Simply imported library and followed instruction on site. Done. I get error notification on slack for my service.

Great free tier to get started. I see no reason to move off once I out-grow the free tier.

Rails and nodejs apps on production use Rollbar. Great solution: easy to setup and triage issues.

Great for single page javascript apps

We use AngularJS and it was very difficult for us to deal with error in production. Thankfully we stumbled upon Rollbar. Now...problem solved. :P

Extremely helpful data for troubleshooting any prod issue

Avantages

Configure the roll bar to capture insightful data like Session ID, Trace information , Policy Number in our application.

Inconvénients

A simplified UI could make it faster to locate the log data for troubleshooting
