One of the better Open Source CRM platforms
We moved from Suite CRM (another Sugar based CRM) to Vtiger based on one of the sales people we'd employed at the time. The interface was slightly better but otherwise there was not a huge difference with it. However, we did find that some of the administration was a little clunky and the process of upgrading between versions was not trivial and often resulted in issues resulting in long outages while we figured out the cause. Ultimately, we migrated away from it in favour of Insightly which is a lot more forgiving of less technically able users.
Avantages
The interface is familiar to those who have used Sugar-based CRM platforms before and is probably one of the better ones of them.
Inconvénients
The process of upgrading between versions is clumsy and error prone. The UI is not particularly friendly for less technically able members of the team.

Vtiger CRM is a halfbaked crm with less of useful features and more of unwanted features . A semi done CRM in total .
Avantages
The bulk database holding capacity and simple system of a funnel which has a good flow of data and upgradation .
Inconvénients
The page open loop which takes too much of time to load is consuming too much of time . Homepage is too backward and needs a lot of improvement .

Vtiger is excellent and affordable, with less limits even at the lower costs
Excellent, would recommend it.
Avantages
Excellent UI, very low learning curve, attractive to use and navigate around. Well integrated with the other apps I use. Workflows are excellent, and with few limits. Generally there are very few limits imposed even for low price plans, unlike many other CRMs I tried.
Inconvénients
Workflows could be made easier for beginners.
The project management side on my plan is fairly basic, but it's nice to have it there.
Generally nothing, I really like it. The only reason I would change is if I could get a cheaper deal elsewhere.

VTiger crm has everything it takes for successful sales
It is a quite complete software for the whole sales line of the company, because it includes not only the crm for the management of projects and tasks, but we can from there better understand our customers and create marketing campaigns, which allow us to increase our sales. VTiger is ideal for companies that need to have everything at hand, a software that covers all stages of the project. Start-up companies will find in this software the tools they need to efficiently organize their sales and projects, achieving an increase in their performance.
Avantages
You can monitor all sales processes and projects in one program and that makes it the best. I love that it is cloud based, which doesn't crash computers. Its ticketing system is very stable and efficient. It has great marketing management, which makes it easy for us to do mailings.
Inconvénients
It does not have the option to drag and drop tasks to place them in another space of the project. It is frustrating how many clicks you have to make to start a specific function. The software is very complete, for that reason it has too many functions and tools that tend to confuse the learning process.

A very adoptable CRM
Depending on your needs the Vtiger CRM might be the best CRM for you. I needed a CRM where I would be able to change fields, add fields, create my own templates for printing, add functions and checklists for my daily work. I also had one specific demand - I wanted one CRM but for 3 companies. I'm an entrepreneur so at present I'm involved in 3 companies and closely working with other entrepreneurs and we share customers. But we want to send quotes, sell orders and other information from different companies to each customer but have alla customers in one CRM. Vtiger solved this.
Avantages
Very adoptable. Depending on which version you choose you will have different modules and the possibility to add modules of your own or deactivate modules you don't need. All records from the different modules can be printed out and you can change the templates.
Vtiger is complex and can be adopted to all your needs but then you need someone within the organisation that would love to get into the system and make the changes. The vtiger support are great to.
I have been able to create a CRM that works for me, all my companies and partners and help us give create customer service and of course keep up with leads, projects, email campaigns and todos.
Inconvénients
Well Vtiger might not be the CRM for companies that only need to have a simple register of clients companies and leads. Since there are so many great modules you really have to set a aside time to get to know the system so if you don't have time or only need a few limited functions you maybe should not choose vtiger.

Great customer support and really good value
Avantages
Great customer support, they offer email, chat and telephone support and the VT account manager (Sharavana) is great for keeping things on track. They also offer structured training and support packages which worked well for us and are good value. Customer service is definitely their strength, and is really important in selecting a CRM. Poor quality or expensive support just makes it too hard hard to get all the customization you need or worse a poorly implemented CRM.
Our building company has a fair bit of complexity around ordering, scheduling and project management as well as the usual lead generation and sales functions. Vtiger is our third system since 2007 and definitely the best for flexibility and customization it’s also easily the best value.
API Integration with other systems like accounting packages and project management tools is quite good but sometimes has to use web hooks which can have a delay. Integration with web forms and chat is excellent and some really good analytics is available.
Document storage is great in VT – super easy access to plans and documents even for people in the field. Logging calls even mobiles has been really useful especially for project management.
Inconvénients
Not many - The mandatory 2 column format for every page is a bit limiting, this can make the layout of data a clumsy. Most of the cons are overcome by working it through with VT – ring them, if they can’t fix it then they will give you a ‘ work around’.

Increasing business productivity with Vtiger CRM
In general I am satisfied with this software since it fulfills its functions according to a low subscription price and even its free version is very useful.
Avantages
One of its main advantages is the price, which compared to its CRM peers is relatively lower. It is also a complete tool that allows you to do simple things like managing customers to marketing automation.
Inconvénients
A disadvantage that can be improved in the medium term is the technical support, which at times is not fast or does not solve the problem.

Consolidate in one applications the differents need of the process to interacts with our customers since the sales stage until the service and support side.
Avantages
You can consolidate multiples process in a single platform (sales, product catalog, contacts, project management, service contracts, case management). Integration with gsuites lets you sinc calendar, add new contacts based on emails, email features. Integration with twilio lets you start phone call based on the contact information and record this activities. Dashboard features to obtain of your differents tasks. Easy to setup and customize. You can add new modules if you needs.
Inconvénients
The interactions between the differents modules can be improve, in order to relate the differents entities of the interactions with our customers.

One solution to simplify your work "Vtiger"
From the time our company has purchased Vtiger, interacting with clients has become very easy, we can pull up the reports of our client from when he started using our product and what is the graph of his continued business with us. We can even keep the track of clients not placing an order with us. We can even keep a track of how often we call our clients to better our services and we can also come to know the trending complaints which are getting our business affected by pulling up the reports from the Vtiger which is a very good option.
Avantages
One of the best option is the "SLA clock" which keeps on reminding you that we haven't acknoledged the query of the customer and this helps a lot in getting a prompt response and it shows how company is willing that our clients get the resolution with in no time and they can work with us swiftly.
Inconvénients
This software should even come up with the soft-phone facility which can display the client detail on the screen whenever they call.
Which will reduce the time for finding up the detail of client and get straight to the track and help them with the best possible option rather than waiting the first 3 minutes of the call in pulling up what was are the order placed by the client and what was his las email to us.

We have introduced vtiger from the decision date in rolling planning. This enabled us to cover 90% of our needs within a very short time (less than 1 month). An unequalled value, which I was not able to realize with other solutions.

Using V Tiger
We keep finding new depths to the V Tiger system as we develop use of it in our system and as a result are using it far more than we anticipated.
The support from V tiger has been nothing less than superb and we could not have made the use of it that we now are without that support

One bad shortcoming is that we have to save documents locally and then upload,rather than being able to save directly into V Tiger - this is time consuming and seems totally illogical. For invoicing, you also need to have a spreadsheet structure as opposed to having to enter each line of the invoice individualyy and do all of the maths manually

Fantastic Software
Using Vtiger 6.5 Opensource to revamp our entire CRM ticketing system. The software is super easy to use with a few added (paid) extensions the customization is very easy and can be modified nicely for anything you want. More advanced features are available at a cost but are great.
Few features i would like to see added in the future to create a more robust all in one software but overall would recommend it for anyone in need of a simple to semi complex crm. Not the prettiest UI but functions great.
Seems to have a pretty active community of developers as well as a supportive community to troubleshoot any issues.
Not all crm's have an out of the box inventory tracking built in. this was the big seller for me. again some more out of the box features could be added to this for a more robust solution.
Overall after testing a few crm's, vtiger had its limitations but its simple to use, easily customized, lots of available extensions, and inventory tracking is what won me over.

Vtiger, the best software ever.
The overall experience is great till now. Vtiger, is helpful on all scenarios. I would be happy to work with Vtiger for a long period of time. It is time efficient.

A perfect CRM for a a company with many teams!
It has been great! I like that if I have a question, their chat support is very quick. I can add as many information as I need for every opportunity. I like that all new features are great asset to the existing process.
Avantages
The chance to make your own modules so it can be 100% adjusted to all of your processes and improving your company's support.
Inconvénients
Sometimes the updates make some features unavaible for a few minutes.

Very Effective
I have been using Vtiger for over six month. It is the best low cost CRM at the pricepoint. It is efficient and fairly easy to use once it's setup. The customer support team is very helpful, CRM's have a way of becoming complicated and they are happy to help you configure easily.
Overall its a great experience.
Things that can improve -
1) Mobile app dashboards are not as flexible as the web app. Since we are on the move we would like to view certain info or have ready access to our lists. The app functions very slow, keeps you wondering if it will crash.
2) Email campaign and templates can get better. Although an integration with Mailchimp is available. Having better designs and user experience on existing templates would help.
One of the major reasons why we are limiting our use on the mail campaign on vtiger and continue with a thirdparty provider.

Mobile App not very great. Should improve mail templates and experience.

It is perfect platform in creating a unified relationship with customers, that would probably be convert into sales later point.
Overall user experience rating: GOOD
Avantages
N number of contacts can be stored, and can be retrieved for business follow up's, which convert contact's into a meaningful prospect/Lead.
Organisation Lets us to add multiple activities into account such as Key handshake's, current sales stage; being quite interactive within our internal team.
Inconvénients
Expecting a changes to happen in Graphical user Interface (GUI) experience, and in training part.

Mixed Experience
We use Vtiger CRM to manage new business development, mostly through it's Email Campaign module. The software has many, many features but getting your workflow lined-up can be complex and challenging. We'd like to see more "templated" workflows, better user documentation including "getting started" documentation and swifter customer support when significant problems are discovered.

Journey with Vtiger System
Its been a roller coaster since start but the team at VTiger was always able to make the ride worth it. No matter what sort of curve balls I threw at them regarding my company requirements, they always made a good score with it.

And the team working behind it all, guys you work in a pretty awesome way :)

Customer support available even on holidays to sort my problems and to be precise always answering all sorts of questions.
All type of suggestions from me were taken positively by the development team.
Even during free trial they provided impeccable help, they handle their customers way better. That's what matters right, priority to customers rather than the invoices.
Inconvénients
Not cons as such. Just waiting for some of their new features that they have kept for their future updates.

Helpful to bring all the functions in CRM and communications together. As we get more familiar with Vtiger we like it more, but it's slow going.
Avantages
It has the potential to make our communications and analysis more effective and efficient.
Inconvénients
It is not terribly user-friendly. Campaign functions still rely on the use of HTML to customize which is frustrating, for example.
