Avantages

My favorite feature with SFTP To Go was it's accessibility across multiple platforms. Whether it was accessing the server on a new/temporary computer or integrating with a trusted desktop client (which is my preference).

Inconvénients

The price point compared to the features needed.
To be clear, I am not saying that SFTP To Go is over priced. I'm only saying that even the lowest tier is beyond my current budget. (Although I hope this isn't the case for too much longer)

Easy to use, affordable, and great customer service

Search functionality within directories is sometimes cumbersome.

It was incredibly quick to set up, only taking about 10 minutes.

The scaling up process seems a bit pricey, but given the simplicity, I think it makes sense.

Very easy to use. For a SME like us, I was able to build client-specific SFTP instances without any IT support....in an hour.

Great user interface for a low-IT marketer like me.

Inconvénients

It could be a bit expensive for a long-term tool, but the pricing is much better than any competitor I found.

Avantages

Ease of use. Affordability. Never fails to receive or allow files to be pushed to our SharePoint site. Files are also easily removed via Power Automate.

Inconvénients

Nothing, great product all around. Trouble free use.

Their support and help when needed. We were able to setup special SFTP folders for some food service clients that had very specific needs.

Documentation is a bit weak but usable. No real issues once we learned how to work with the system.

This has been a great solution for removing ftp from our on-premise environment. Allowing us have an always up secure solution for our clients needs. Easy set up and fast response to support requests. Definitely your full service ftp solution.

Wish they had a better email activity notification system. It works fine but would be better if it was more customizable. But every solution seems to suffers from this weakness.

Easy to use and set up. Every time I contact support I get a quick response.

Wish that it had logging for the lower level service.

SFTP To Go is a top-notch managed SFTP service. They have excellent security features and the higher tiers offer S3 access as well which is blazingly fast.

Inconvénients

The website itself has a few kinks and quirks. Sometimes it fails to log you in until you retry, and as far as I could tell MFA is optional without any ability to make a policy.

The fact that the engineering team will listen and implement changes to make their product better.

The pricing model is a little expensive.

There was just a con in the configuration aspect that I can't remember now, but it wasn't a deal breaker. We managed to work around it with the help of the support.

Very easy and simple to setup. Their customer support has also been top notch. I've only needed to contact them once, but they were very fast to respond and answered my question clearly.

Inconvénients

We regularly get disconnect errors. This usually lasts for < 1s so it's not really a true complaint. What we're using the service for does not require ~100% uptime. If it disconnects for a brief second, our automations reconnect seamlessly.

It is a straightforward setup with the option to access files via a Web browser.

I wished it had automation tools to schedule file transfers, copy files to local server and scripts to control file movement.

Avantages

It is priced so I can pay for just what I need. With very little IT expertise, I was able to setup the files and credentials within one day to start being able to receive file transfer. Support has been timely and responsive whenever I did have a question.

Inconvénients

I did not really have anything to say I like the least. My only struggles related to my limited IT expertise.

Avantages

Before I found SFTP To Go, I was completely overwhelmed by the entire SFTP process. However, with SFTP To Go, they have completely revolutionized online SFTP. No longer do you need to go through a complicated SFTP process. Honestly, it is so easy to use, it brings me joy every time I log in.

Inconvénients

The only con about SFTP to go is that they do not allow for multiple file downloads at once. However, their customer service is incredible - I reached out to them about the feature suggestion. They were open to my feedback and let me know that it is on their product roadmap. It feels great being able to work with a feedback oriented team.
