Overall I really like working with it!
Smoother accounting process, and I'd assume a better experience for my accountant next year!
Avantages
I like that I can easily see open invoices, and when things are due to be paid. I also love being able to track my expenses, and that everything is in 1 place vs. several spread sheets.
Inconvénients
When I try to search invoices by number, for instance, the information collapses onto itself and I can't read unless I refresh every time. Could this be a Mac bug? Not sure if anyone else has mentioned. I also use in Chrome, so maybe I'll try another browser.

my favorite accounting app
Avantages
The UI is beautiful and as i designer I appreciate that. I also the ease of use for novice accounting person. A solid app indeed!
Inconvénients
I can't really find anything I dislike about this app. Maybe for the power user coming from Quickbooks there are functions not available, but for most entrepreneurs this app is perfect.

Accounting made manageable
I am able to upload expenses and in that way record what I use on the behalf of the company.
Avantages
It allows people to upload expenses into the application, which calculates and put the numbers in the necessary documents.
Inconvénients
A form of integration to our website would be nice.

Very simple and no fluff Saas product. It's enjoyable to use.
The transfer from paying higher with Quickbooks. Saves us money.
Avantages
Simple, straightforward. Some Saas products are to bloated and end up confusing. Billy keeps the basics in front of you and accessible. Intuitive to use.
Inconvénients
Not as many integrations yet, however I don't use those. Just looking for the negatives to say. ;)

So good, so far
I have just begun using Billy as I found another popular software that my accountant uses to be to complicated for my reptilian brain. Billy is great because I get the detail I love, but that the accountant doesn't need. I have no fear of making errors and messing her up. Sounds like double work, but it isn't. Making my life smoother.
Avantages
Love the dashboards. Love that it is simple, pretty and easy to learn and use.
Inconvénients
I have very few invoices which need statements. I am assuming with the upgrade, I could print customer reports etc.

Best for My Needs
Avantages
I have tried many different brands of accounting software, and Billy works the best for my needs. It's easy to use, has great support, and makes doing my accounting much easier than I experienced with other software.
Inconvénients
I would like to have better reporting capabilities.

I'm trying Billy out for my new consulting business.
Avantages
It's a beautiful app, and is really easy to use and understand! Very intuitive and user-friendly. And, it's customizable!
Inconvénients
It's a little harder than Quickbooks to link my bank to this software - or, at least I would love to have PayPal as an option for a payout.

Good inexpensive accounting tool
Avantages
Billy is a good inexpensive accounting tool. I like that the software is not overly complicated. I like that they connect to so many banks.
Inconvénients
I wish that paypal was supported. I also want to be able to present invoices and bills on my own domain.

Great software for start up or small businesses!
Avantages
Billy is a great hassle free accounting app. It is very easy to use and becomes more intuitive as you use it.

It is very limited for a growing business that will eventually need more comprehensive accounting reports.

Very positive experience with Billy, easy to use, regular updates on features and gets my invoicing done.
Avantages
The ease of use within the platform is great, it enabled me to learn how to use it very quickly.

Nothing at the moment. I haven’t had any problems with Billy.

More suitable for the startup company than the bloated alternatives
Been using Billy for a few weeks now after trying out the "big name" alternatives. It's far and away the easiest to use for someone with no accounting experience. I need to focus my time on my customers and building my business while keeping track of my finances. Billy does an excellent job at that.

I'm new to Billy and the customer support is excellent. Creating invoices is also a breeze.
When there was an issue, customer service was great in explaining. Invoice numbers can't be used how I used to use them... but once I start to make deposits into the account, it was explained that the invoice numbers will not be as important as they were with my last system.
Avantages
Everything I've tried so far! My invoices look much more professional than they did on the previous program I was using. I also converted to email invoices vs. snail mail.

Intuitive / easy to use, enforces good billing/accounting practices and produces beautiful...
Avantages
The price and functionality. It streamlined my billing and organized the products I bill for which gives me a great way to organize my business. I's the no hassle billing/expenses accounting software I needed after tying the bloated/expensive enterprise offerings. Reconciling payments and expenses is a breeze .

Great experience!
It's a great software to use for my small business. It's affordable and easy to manage. The only thing is that I'm based out of Canada and they have VAT programmed to show on the invoice and we only work with Gst and PST tax codes. But other than that it's perfect.

Billy Accounting Software
It is easy to use. The invoicing function is easy o use and I like the way it puts your logo on the top of the invoice. It is very professional looking. Both the invoice side and the expense side is very flexible and easy to use.

Great Service
We just loved how good looking the design of the website is. It was so easy to use and with great features. The invoice template is so pretty and useful. We have tried others similar but none beats Billy!

I can actually say . . .based on the overview, I am going to really enjoy this tool.

To be honest, I am just signing up, but, after conducting an overview, I see that there is so much to offer, I can tell this is a great tool to assist with keeping any business on top and at the cutting edge. I am eager to get started with using this book-keeping tool

Based on the various tools, there is nothing that I like to least.

Billy is a perfect fit for our needs!
We've had a great experience since switching over from Freshbooks over to Billy. We're no longer limited by the number of clients we can have, the price is more friendly for a start-up trying to limit expenses, and the experience for our clients has been great too!
Avantages
Very intuitive and user-friendly. Low-cost, big-value.

Very friendly, easy & comfortable to use and love the support team. If you need any help getting your books setup, the onboarding team is AWESOME!
Inconvénients
Would like to be able to use PayPal as another option of payment, other then that I don't have anything else at this time.

Love the service and platform

Avantages
Billy is a basic account software that is easy to use and get setup. Nothing crazy involved with getting everything prepped and ready to go.
Inconvénients
It has limitations as far as what it can do, and Billy has limited integrations. If you are needing something bigger, this may not be for you. Unless you are a zapier savant.

Efficiency, more tools/resources to manage my accounting more thoroughly
Avantages
It's very easy to use. It has all the features I need to successfully manage my accounting, it even helps me to manage it more accurately and efficiently. I have to say the customer service is exceptional and they helped make the transition from QB to Billy seamless.
Inconvénients
Sometimes there are a few extra steps to enter data that I'm not used to but once I learn the flow, it's pretty easy.

Billy is great!
Billy is a great service to use for small business, we use it for invoices and billing our customers. Its really easy to use and get setup. I just wish they had apps for iOS and Android.

honestly I am so use to QB that they i use that judge other software and sometime I can't find something since its listed differently here. But that is no fault of thiers

Nothing can beat this!
What a great invoicing service! The value for money is great but just not for us for the moment. Once we have more need for this, we will definately use Billy!
