Avantages
Ce que j'apprécie est que Sketchup est très facile d'utilisation et intuitif.
Inconvénients
Cependant, il pourrait être intégré directement un render au logiciel (comme le fait le plug in vray).

La facilité d'utilisation de ce logiciel plaît. La qualité des rendus est impressionnante. Ils reflètent parfaitement la réalité de chaque projet.
Inconvénients
Les render (rendus) sont parfois longs à sortir et cela ralenti la productivité puisque le pc est inutilisable lors du chargement du render.

Best software for innovative 3d modeling
I have been working on Sketchup for 3 years. This is a very good software for making buildings of different types of shapes and it is very easy to do so, as it has a 3D warehouse from where you can pick up complete furniture or items from the model. Then there are plugins which help you a lot in making difficult shapes easily.
Avantages
SketchUp, combined with its various plugins, is a powerful tool for architecture students.Easy to learn interface , best for beginners. Offers wide range of plugins, extensions, and tools for creating innovative 3d models. It has ability to create a photorealistuc render with the help of plugins like V-ray, Lumion, and Enscape.
Inconvénients
Sketchup has performance issues large and complex models can cause SketchUp to slow down or crash, especially on less powerful computers. Mastering advance extensions, tools, and plugins can take time .

Easy to use!
Avantages
It is a very straight forward program. You can model up ideas very quickly with limited knowledge. Great for showing ideas to clients.
Inconvénients
It tends to freeze with larger models and some of the plugins are behind compared to programmes like Rhino. It could implement 2D drawing more.

Fast and easy to model, amazing library
Avantages
one of the main reasons i use sketch up is their warehouse of library, one of the most detailed and variant libraries i have seen in a software, very good for furniture regarding commercial projects and residential
Inconvénients
that lines and surfaces are seperate, it makes modelling and editing harder to handle especially when selecting or moving surfaces

SketchUp has its place in the design process
SketchUp has great benefits in the Arch Design word, figuring those out and utilizing them with other programs is key.
Avantages
I enjoy the quickness of being able to develop a building concept for the exterior with regards to the shape and material
Inconvénients
Doing a full building design can be done but it is a laborious process.

Buen software de arquitectura y maquetación
En el poco tiempo de uso, SketchUp me ha permitido crear rápidamente modelos 3D en mi trabajo. Sin embargo, he tenido limitaciones en términos de precisión y detalle en comparación con software más robustos, especialmente en proyectos que requieren documentación técnica detallada.
Avantages
Creo que las dos grandes ventajas de SketchUp son su popularidad y facilidad de uso. Además de que permite la creación de modelos 3D de forma muy sencilla.
Inconvénients
La gran desventaja es que no tiene compatibilidad con todos los formatos de arquitectura que se usan en diferentes softwares.

It is not very precise and it can sometimes be very frustrating to draw complex geometries, it takes some plugins to do it.

Semplice e intuitivo
Uso sketchup da piu di cinque anni ormai e posso dire che mi sono trovato fi da subito benissimo, è molto semplice e intuitivo modellare in 3D, anche per un non esperto. Io personalmente lo uso per l'architettura ed è molto efficace proprio per l'intuitività nell'usare i vari comandi
Avantages
La semplicità dei comandi principali e dell'interfaccia ti permettono di modellare in poco tempo, anche attraverso molti tool ,riuscendo a fare cose complesse, scaricabili proprio dallo stesso fornitore
Inconvénients
L'unica cosa a sfavore e che per modellare in maniera complessa hai per forza bisogno di molti tool

Avantages
I can show everybody what I have in my mind. Ease of designing in 3D with SketchUp is very efficient and intuative. I use it everyday and I can't imagine lack of this software.
Inconvénients
Sometimes I have a problem with importing models from Revit. Maybe it is about their complexicity.

3d starter modeling
We used to use it a lot more often to mock up models in 3D space and then drop them into Google Earth to render on site renderings.
Avantages
It's intuitive and a great starting tool for shaping 3D masking. It's good for people who don't have the time to learn Revit or heavy duty tools and need to mock something up quickly in 3D.
Inconvénients
After it got bought out, I feel like the program isn't as good as it used to be. That's just my personal opinion.

Sketchup simple y facil de usar
Ha sido muy valioso en mis procesos de diseño y la presentacion de las ideas al cliente ya que es para ellos es facil comprender la proporcion de los volumenes aun en presentacuones via remota.
Avantages
En uno de los software mas intituitivos y faciles de usar, en pocas seciones conseguiras resultados interesantes y con el tiempo te convertiras en un experto bosquejador, tremendamente util en tu proceso de diseño, facilmente conseguiras la visualizacion de tus volumenes, para complementar tus procesos de diseño.
Inconvénients
Al principio tienes problemas con la presicion, sin embargo es facil configurar los parametros y obtener la que necesitas.

Really excellent software
I’d recommend SketchUp for 3D Architecture to anyone any day
Avantages
The easy with which modeling can be fine in SketchUp is superb. With a combination of command and plugins you a do a lot in a very short time and be easily integrated with a number or render software like V-ray and lumion.
Inconvénients
The near clip plane can be quite annoying sometimes. When you just zoom into objects and get lost. I also gets slow sometimes as the file size increases
