Long dans l'import et les sauvegardes,
Problème de récupération de textures,
Primitif (peu voir aucune possibilité d'un retour en arrière, la touche tab pour passer d'une cellule à l'autre n'est pas fonctionnelle, pas de possibilité de créer sa propre bibliothèque lumion dans les plantes et personnages pour avoir les options qui vont avec).

J'ai utilisé Lumion pendant un bon moment et j'ai toujours été satisfait de la qualité de mes rendus. Le temps de production était également remarquable

Inconvénients

A l'époque il était carrément impossible d'ouvrir dans une version pro un model enregistré sous une licence d'étudiant. Je ne sais plus si c'est toujours le cas.

Avantages

Le logiciel est tellement facile à utiliser. En quelques minutes seulement on peut avoir un sentiment de maîtrise sur les fonctionnalités du programme.

Inconvénients

La sélection et la suppression d'objet est un peu difficile. Et je pense que c'est mieux s'il existe une version demo et une version pro

Avantages

It saves time to create 3d environments around you model that you want to showcase, has realtime sun and night setting, creating oceans, landscapes, trees with ease which are pre-animated and according to physics. It renders faster than any other rendering plugin software and quality is even better. I can even create bokeh effects, depth of field, camera shakes and many more. What's cool is that you can create and populate the scene in real-time with effects like playing a video game. So you do not need to render every time you create a new effect just to see how it looks like. Saves time like a lot!

Inconvénients

Lumion is NOT a modeling software. Your 3d models created are imported into the software and you populate the scene with its internal library. I find the internal library lacking models but Lumion keeps improving their 3d library in every new version released. Also, its interface can be confusing sometimes. This coming from experience using other 3d software which are far friendlier to use.

Avantages

Easy to use, solid performance, great renders and extreme fast render times. I use Lumion from the very start of the designing process, and constantly switch between Archicad and Lumion. I show the renders to my clients, or share them on social media in every stage of the process. It's fun working with Lumion and it really gives my designing process a boost.

Inconvénients

Importing external materials (and their respective channels) could be better. It would be nice if all channels could be adjusted directly from within Lumion without a Photoshop detour.

Avantages

Ease of inserting finishes and lights. Also the library has great detailed models.
Changing time of the day and its effects are great.

Inconvénients

Some furniture in the library are not very compatible as per its size. If we need specific furniture we have to model it and bring into Lumion. No dining table set.

Avantages

I value the ease of use, the speed, the realistic renders, the options for filters, light, finishes, the ability to have multiple files that can be live updated. We like using Lumion in landscape for testing/ modeling, as well as final renders. It allows us to look at opening day of a project, as well as future tree/ landscape maturity.

Inconvénients

This may not be a concern for many users, but we do a lot of work in Rwanda/ Africa. The plant palette is not built out for species we use here. And some of the other generic plants do not look as realistic as much of the rest of Lumion. But really, in comparison to the overall utility of Lumion, it is a minor concern - does not stop us from using it!

Avantages

It changed the way I tackle visualization, it is now easier to start renderings from the very beginning of the design process and use them to make design decisions and update them over and over.

When you are done with the design you can finish the polished version of the renderings.

Inconvénients

I guess the main thing I dislike is the fact that you cant use more than one computer to render in a network. Also you cant use the software in more than one computer at the same time.

Avantages

I love Architecture and video so Lumion is my favorite choice for visual video. With this software, I can render an Architectural photo without spending the time to set up lightings or environments like 3DsMax and Vray. I can see everything is changed in real-time so I won't get disappointed because of the difference between the scene and the rendered photo. It works well with the other software like Sketchup, 3DsMax, AutoCAD, Revit... Very easy to learn.

Inconvénients

As I said it's very easy to learn in basic, but not easy to become an expert, you need time to practice more. It requires a strong computer so please consider to upgrade your computer before you want to use it. It has some problem in importing Revit 2019 file into Lumion 8, so please tell me your solution (if you know) in this case.

Avantages

I used Lumion to render Architectural scenes it was super cool and easy to use. Lumion is very strong at below points.
-Easy to use (Very user-friendly User Interfaces and tutorials)
-Speed (It is a real-time render so you don’t need wait to render your scenes)
-Camera Controls (We can handle the camera very easily and can make walk-through videos very easily and you don’t need more training)
-It has good objects and environment library, you don’t need to model every object

Inconvénients

Lumion has some bad cases too which are I faced when I’m using it
-Pricing (Lumion Pro is very expensive )
-Even it has quick rendering it is running slowly and you need good RAM for use this
-Updates (When you get a new update of Lumion does not update current software itself it should install as a whole new software )
-Output videos are too large

Avantages

For any landscape or exterior or interior architecture work, photorealism is a great challenge for architects to present details of the design work to the client. Starting from the Autocad to the Sketchup than to the Lumion GPU is now a pretty straightforward process. Its ability to sync your design(basically camera /aspect an so on.) in multiple screens is key aspect of the software. Ability to get your topography from openstreetmaps is amazing. Recent updates bring some enhancements including Height Maps which show streets in relation to topology.

Inconvénients

Is it really as in it's motto: "Beautiful Renders within Reach"? Not anymore with the latest iterations. Spec requirements are going far beyond reach for mainstream users. It takes a lot of time to get proper renders. And for large landscaping areas or citiscaping renders it requires a lot of time. I think the company should provide online subscription-based GeForceNow-like cloud rendering capabilities for users.

Avantages

As long as your device meets the requirements of the application, the rendering time is almost as fast as you can imagine.

Inconvénients

It comes at a price, not a lot of mid range devices can run it. It is definitely an elite software.

Avantages

The livesync plugin for archicad is working smoothly. It is very easy to use and it has nice texture library and a wide object library.

Inconvénients

It consumes lots of memory. Can’t do separate settings for different scenes.

I enjoy Lumion because it is a very user friendly 3D rendering software, you can create a masterpiece in just minutes. It has all you need to be able to create a stunning 3D visualization of your project. I love every feature of it from importing to exporting your project.

There is no bad thing about this software, everything is amazing!

Avantages

Lumion is easy to start making 3d, axonometries, and plan view renderings.
It has a huge vegetation library and especially the realistic vegetation that stepped up the rendering results.
The live sync is the best feature for all architects and designers, even though it doesn't work on all popular 3d software such as 3ds max, Lumion still easy to use and very friendly to start rendering.

Inconvénients

Lumion needs a lot of computing power, even my RTX gpu struggles a bit in fairly medium to large projects.

Lumion is very expensive and the update fees are expensive.

It has given flexibility at its best to make presentations without much skill and knowledge in comparison to the 3D max and it’s day-by-day sound and strong.

Need to get more depth in renders. The material library needs to get more realistic.

This software is very easy to use as compared to the other rendering softwares. It provides just like a real environment in the scenes. A Vast material library is also a plus point of this software

A High Performance System is required to run this software. Otherwise too much time consuming if the system has a low graphic cards.

Avantages

Lumion is used for rendering works which mostly architecture and civil engineers use this products. We can import completed sketchup files and Ravit files. Lot of tools are available which makes easy and understand. we can render with high quality materials and very acttrative. Water effects , lightning, night mode, sun rise and sun set are also available. Vehicles and peoples movement can be done.

Inconvénients

When we rendering machine gets strucks and go slowy , It is needed high performance lap top. We have to learn properly to use all facilities. It is not freely available , should be paid.

Ease of use and the ability to integrate into workflow quite easily. You can produce way faster than with traditional rendering softwares

There is no edit feature inside of the program and the working area is limited to 2km to 2km making working with large landscapes difficult

Lumion is a tremendous tool for creating high quality images. Importing models from different programs into Lumion is quick and simple. The library of entourage is full of all the general things one could think of. The rendered images have a very simple workflow as well as high quality editable settings for lighting and reflections. Now, the Livesync feature is also a great real-time renderer to help the design process all the way through.

Inconvénients

As Lumion runs a video game renderer the interface might be different than what most architectural users are familiar with and might come with a learning curve. Controlling the majority of tools with sliders can be less precise than desired.
