Send Grid is fairly easy to set up. There are some advanced skills needed but a mid-level marketing professional should be able to get most things set up without the need of Tech Support.

If you don't know how to code, this is the best email marketing software. It offers an awesome drag and drop style newsletter build that anyone can learn. It is easy to use and learn. Also, great pricing.

There are always little bugs I run into with fonts changing or features not showing on my end, showing up in a test email. For example, my social media bar always sends white when it's black on my side. It sounds small but it makes it look sloppy.

This software is great for creating custom designs and importing HTML for experience coders. The greatest feature about this tool is list segmentation. They make it very simple to segment your lists in a very strategic way.

SendGrid makes it so easy to create e-mails and track openings and engagement. The functionalities that it provides and the training the company provides for its customers is also incredible. They teach you how to avoid being put in Spam, how to get the most engagement, and how to use the software to the best of its ability.

There is not much I can complain about when it comes to this software. Sometimes I have a harder time creating a pretty e-mail, but that is more due to my lack of design.

The best part of SendGrid is the effectiveness of its API. The API supports import from almost everywhere and from any file types. SendGrid is best for transactional emails which sends out automatically. We set more than 5 transactional email templates to send out under different conditions. The percentage of error is less than 2% so far.

I use a Bronze plan and compared to some other similar applications are very cost effective compared to what we are paying. The free trial version also lacks a lot of features. It only allows 200 emails per day which is only sufficient for small campaigns.

On SendGrid I can see any emails that have been processed, bounced, marked as spam, blocked, etc. which helps when customers calling in about email issues. It allows me to fix the issue quickly and in return help our customers faster.
