Feasible Solution for Plan Administration
Avantages
It's a very intuitive platform to use, easy to run reports, proxy in as a participant, and drop off and pick up files.
Inconvénients
There are too many restrictions on making updates as an administrator. Many changes must go through the service team.

This may be the worst software I have used. Ever.
Awful. Just Awful.
Avantages
Through many bugs and a painful login and re-authentication process every single time I access the platform, I have been able to exercise my options through Certent.
Inconvénients
They take something that is already difficult for many people to understand and make it worse by having a terrible UI, and login and authentication process

Certent Equity Management gets the job done
Avantages
This software is easy to use and the reporting tools are great.
Inconvénients
The Section 16 part of the software maybe the most difficult part to learn, but once you figure it all out it is no big deal.

Certently moving forward
Avantages
Software provides forecasting which has been extremely powerful especially in these economic times
Inconvénients
Can be so fickle with timing of the activity. not very fluid to correct misinformation from data uploads

Sr Manager Financial Reporting Review
The product works for what we need it to do. It provides us with reports needed for disclosure support, SBC JEs, Beneficial Ownership calculations, future vesting for forecasting. But the best thing as I mentioned above is our customer service. It's always important to have a good, dependable customer service representative at third-party service providers - especially equity management because some transactions can get complex. We've had many complex transactions that [sensitive content hidden] and the Accounting team have helped us out of.
Avantages
My favorite thing about working with Certent Equity Management is the customer service. [sensitive content hidden] Carlson is our Sr. Client Service Manager and she has been since I have been with the company (6 years). [sensitive content hidden] is always available and willing to help and so patient with our team. She set up bi-weekly meetings with HR and Finance teams to talk about any issues. Many times I would ask the same questions but she would answer without hesitation. Running and using reports is easy, and help system with videos is a great idea and has helped me many times with Black Scholes calculations or EVF changes. Accounting team always there to help as well - providing calculations as we need them.
Inconvénients
Not really user friendly if we want to create new reports - Certent would do it for us. Reports already created have a lot of unnecessary columns on them when they are run and there was no way for us to customize to what we needed. Being on the west coast when we are on the east isn't helpful either when we have an early morning question.

Completely Solved Equity Management For Our Company!
Our experience has been fantastic. We've never had the need for an Equity Management Platform in the past, but once our company committed to making Ownership Shares a standard benefit for our 1500+ full time employees, Certent was absolutely the solution we needed! We received great support from the Certent implementation, account management and admin team all along the way!
Avantages
Certent Equity Management completely solved the issues of issuing and tracking employee shares for our company both from the perspective of administration by our finance team but also from the perspective of visibility and access to this value added benefit for our employees! The Certent Support team has been fantastic helping us setup and use some of their standard features in an "outside of the box" way that fits our company's needs, and our account rep [sensitive content hidden] could not be more accessible or responsive when we have questions or need help with creative solutions!
Inconvénients
Would like to have the ability to do some manual adjustments such as changing email address, mailing address, etc information for participants ourselves rather than submitting those changes requests to the Certent Plan Admin team to do, but, at least their team is fast responding to change requests / tickets usually same day.

Overall, Certent provides a good service with stock plan administration reporting and accurate data.
Avantages
Certent provides stock plan administration reporting capabilities with multiple reports for both internal and external reporting. Our client relationship manager, [sensitive content hidden], is awesome and has bi-weekly touch base meetings to provide frequent communication.
Inconvénients
Certent tax information connections with our broker are not the best, but mitigating controls are in place to provide accurate data is received by the broker for certain transactions.

Certent Recommendation
Avantages
Certent provides great customer service to our organization. We work hand in hand with them in regard to our equity management and upcoming vestings/settlements. Our collaboration with Certent is extremely helpful and integral in providing our employees with accurate results.

Certent Equity Management Product
Avantages
The program is easy to use not only for the admin but for the end user. We receive fewer emails and calls asking for assistance from employees with the implementation of this product.
Inconvénients
Could use improvement on break/fix timing and setup.

Review of Equity Management
We've had a pretty good experience so far with Equity Management from Certent. The reports are very easy to run and information is easy to find, however every once in a while will have an issue running the reports with not getting any data returned. There also isn't a great way to export to Excel for some of the reports I run and when you copy and paste the data the formatting isn't pretty.

Exporting the data to Excel doesn't always work, there's not an easy way to do it and the copy/paste function into Excel messes up the formatting.

Overall is good !
Avantages
1. The website has a robot to answer some basic questions which save me time.
2. It is very clear to know how much I have for the stocks, easy and simple.
Inconvénients
1. The visualization in the system is not really attractive compared to other similar services such as Carta, looks old-fashioned style.
2. The system asked me to change my password quite often which I need to find another one to remember.
3. if there are some monthly or quarterly reports which may be helpful.

Great equity management tool
Avantages
The UI and reporting in Certent are easy to use and help in keeping things transparent
Inconvénients
No complaints, there are no downsides that I have come across so far
