SAP CRM is powerful, but lagging behind
I was part of the implementation team that implemented SAP at my company and a consultant at 2 other clients. This is a powerful software that can transform company’s customer service if you follow best practices.
Avantages
Configuring SAP is always challenging but CRM module is relatively easy. It’s web UI is Easy to use and highly recommended for companies running sap already.
Inconvénients
Tweaking or making new changes in a live system is both risky and difficult. If you are an expert in web interface and programming, it’s still easier.

Complete CRM, needed for all media and large business
We use the software to control and manage activities and services. receipt of material, travel management control of managers, presentation of accounting documents. It is the most used software in the company.
Avantages
the management of all services under sap's care. Basically we have access from the logistics, delivery and receipt of suppliers, from the accounting and financial of these contracts. All delivered competently by the system.
Inconvénients
Code-based transactions slow the system down at times, and the interfaces to sap-powered systems are also bad.

Make sure it is implemented properly, or it will never be correct
It is good for issuing and dispatching service techs based on customer requests. Still need ECC to manage consumption through a 3rd party interface, Oracle is a much more streamlined system.
Avantages
The interface is clean and friendly to any computer literate person. Different roles can be created for users to limit what they interact with and what menus they have available.
Inconvénients
The ability to interface with SAP-ECC is terrible. Tracking consumption is almost non-existent, to get what you would consider normal functionality the price starts escalating. The master data setup is different in CRM than in ECC - so you will have discrepancies and extra workload to keep your data clean.

I think it's great how SAP CRM takes care of its clients in an exceptional way and as it stands out in the management of customer relations, it certainly knows how to build a good relationship and keep its customers happy, excellent services and very versatile. , I am satisfied with what I achieved.
Inconvénients
I really do not have any complaints about SAP CRM, only excellent reviews, I will not hesitate to return.

Great for tracking work

They are big for a reason - it's a functional and dependable system
You need to really understand the relationships of SAP before you start working in it, but even teaching database novices how to use SAP CRM is a pieces of cake for repetitious tasks.
Avantages
The web interface is clean and easy to navigate. You don't need to remember alot of detail to figure out home to interact with records, contracts, vendors, price lists. The SAP GUI is a bit more detailed with more functionality. For navigating and editing individual records, it's wonderful.
Inconvénients
Price agreements and customer lists are not easy to export in batch. Lots of clicking to get through multiple contracts, which can end up taking more time than actual analysis of the data.

I like the software for review information.
Avantages
I used the RRHH module for my work, and it was very helpful that every little detail of the user was in the software.
Inconvénients
I think that it's to big that you cannot cover all the modules and information, but you have to used it to get used to it.

The benefits were economic. By being able to integrate it with an Opensource application of E-commerce we achieve the client's goal. We achieve the objectives and with that we increase our profits.
Avantages
We improve our income as we integrate SAP ERP with new sales channels such as e-Commerce, managing to merge it with PRESTAHOP increasing revenues in the final customer.
Inconvénients
The high costs of each module of SAP make many companies migrate to other solutions, in our case the client preferred to integrate the solution with an E-COMMERCE Opensource instead of acquiring the license of the manufacturer's own module, since it was practically impossible to maintain over time for their prices.

Overall it is a very powerful tool, I just wish it was a little faster to respond and save.

I like that the CRM links directly to SAP and can dig out information directly. As long as information is loaded in SAP, it is in CRM

It can be PAINFULLY slow. I understand that there is a huge amount of data, but it would make life easier if it didn't have to chug through the data. Simply entering 1 ticket can double the time it should take as CRM loads/saves..

All in one CRM but slow and complicated.
Overall, this software is for the advanced users only. Not too user friendly and very slow. I would still recommend it if you have the patience on learning on how the software works.
Avantages
All that you need is there. You can compose an Email, create reports, sync it to your soft phone, data entry and all the information that you need. With just a click on the search button, everything that you need will be there. Great customer support too! Downtime will not take so long before it gets fixed.
Inconvénients
Sometimes all the clicking is so complicated. The software is super slow. Sometimes it will take forever to load up specially when you open multiple tabs. Crashes most of the time even if you have a fast computer. Very complicated commands that it will take time before you figure them out.

This product has different pieces. They are SAP Hybris Commerce, SAP Hybris Marketing, SAP Hybris Billing. Hybris commerce is intuitive e-commerce tool and SAP Hybris billing is very intuitive tool for billing, consumption based charging, invoice consolidation subscriptions management.
Inconvénients
We need different consultants for all the different sub products of SAP Hybris. This increases client's costs of implementation or roll out.

Quite ROBUST!
Avantages
SAP products are top of the line. Very robust, but I'd much rather have too much at my fingertips than not enough. Very convenient to have so much in one place, instead of disjointed in different tools. Absolutely love the software.
Inconvénients
Only thing I can say that could be seen as a negative is that it takes a while to "get down." For someone who has never used CRM before, it may take some extra care in training. But the wealth of information in one place is priceless. I'd rather take time training someone for this tool and have impeccable efficiency than easy training in multiple tools and sacrifice time.

I have been using SAP Hybrid for the past 8 years and would say it's the recommended framework for the current E-Commerce.
Avantages
Ease of building the e-commerce applications using out of the box accelerator functionality.
Dynamic building of promotions which helps non-technical person to build variety of promotions.
Inconvénients
I find SAP hybris documentation is not unto the mark which makes new people quiet difficult to learn SAP hybris.

Working Professional Using SAP

Great Navigation and integration between tabs and different transactions. I use daily and get so much done and reach other departments easily to get the job done
Inconvénients
Capitalization can effect a transaction from going through. I also notice sometimes it goes offline and when logging back in it says I have a session open and will lock me out of a transaction usually to get out I logout and login

Need a CRM?
If you have a big company (1000+ employees) you definitely need a complete CRM package and SAP is probably the best in the market.
You can configure almost anything on these thing.
After you get the hang of how SAP works, you will not want to leave it.
Throw anything at it and if it's well configured the job gets done.

SAP - German for "Such A Pain"
I do not like SAP, however I guess I am stuck with it as it is supposedly the best platform for large companies.

It's my understanding that it is a very complex system that can support many different businesses and business units.
Inconvénients
The ease of use and UE/UI is really not great at all. It is a German product and it really shows as it is clunky and impossible to use.

A nice enough software. But a bit clunky

Having already been a customer of SAP for our ERP needs for a while it didn't take a huge leap to look at the CRM offering, and after a short adoption curve, we were able to set up the CRM side, working with a bespoke software on a PDA device to deliver information to the field agents who were the ones needing the information.
Inconvénients
The interface was clunky, and quite slow. The gannt view of work orders looked ok, but updating could take longer than necessary and didn't offer much flexibility

There were various T-Codes I could input to pull up new functionality. It may seem very confusing at first, but with some practice, it can be quite intuitive.
Inconvénients
Some searches took a long time - though it didn't happen often, sometimes the screen would freeze. The overall look seems a little outdated, but it is clean and easy to use.

This product creats value in helping the field staff to be able to view all important data in clear presentation a very compact.
But best thing is maybe the really nice Evaluation of data. The product is very well integrated in the SAP world. We saw the flow of Information coming from S4, SAP CRM and then to be analysed in SAP Analytics.
Inconvénients
As often, it is not to easy to have the Software customized in the favored way. It may be the best to work with SAP directly therefore. The comparatively high costs for customization are also well known.

Overall it was easy to learn how to use and we love it.
Avantages
In the past you needed twovhybrid tools to create a category or content page. Since the update you can now do it all in back office which is so much more convenient.
Inconvénients
The synchronization function has not worked worked the best since the update.

- It is very easy to use. Not much complicated once you got training how to use. You will get good grip soon.

- It is constantly growing and changing since years, it is very strong, big, trust able System. which you can customize too.
- This ERP it full of features and comes with a lot of tutorials. It is great for a large organisation.
Inconvénients
- It is complex to install. It takes around 10 12 hours and lots of IT experience.
- Sometimes reports took more than usual time to load. You will have to go through a very long procedure to find out where and what went wrong.
- You need to have proper training to understand the impact of every aspect to avoid mistakes in the future.

In SAP CRM, there are various modules like Service, Sales, Marketing etc. Service module provides extensive features including service orders, service plans. I've been a QA for several hybris implementations, the best of it is that everything can be tracked and all info is easy to find and configure on backoffice.

I started using SAP CRM when I was working in a telephone company and in a short time it was possible to reduce the time in which the procedures are done, beause they are in real time and this is something that when you are attending a client you will not have the convenienve of taking more than necessary, with hte SAP CRM I could place orders, contracts and more with a single platform,

Despite being a fairly complete system it is difficult to learn how to use it and it takes a lot of time to manage it as it should be.

360 degree of customer with full SAP CRM cycle
Avantages
It has most of the part in configuration side which is release with the new model. Most of the things are now based on wizard which helps to understand the creation perfectly with less chances of error. The vendor has already customize and provided solution in the form of standard codes so we can just use it to further customize the system based on the requirement given by the client. It has come up with new features which are easy to implement and less complicates.
Inconvénients
If the full lifecycle of SAP CRM(Marketing, sales, service) is implemented for any customer then it is always great because you don't have to depend on any other system for any other job. The thing which could be more better is the WebUi part, it could be something like webdynpro where everything is configuration and system populates everything for you.

Just not a CRM system--it's basically just ECC with the CRM label slapped on
Massive implementation and our users hate it. Struggle with performance issues and complexity of logic. Regression testing is a pain every release. The software is just to sequential process oriented when really it should be more flexible to reflect the complexity and asynchronicity of sales and support processes.

Super slow, terrible performance. Incredibly confusing to users. The fact that most relationship are many to many leads to horrible data quality issues.

Avantages
Easy to sort favorites once you find them in all the drop downs. Can rename certain shortcuts.
Inconvénients
Can be very difficult to find certain programs. All SAP logins are different. Screen view is always different for users.

It will accomodate anything and everything you would need.

It is WAY too much for any small company and still too many fields that you don't fill in for a large company.
