Avantages

La plateforme est disponible sur tous les appareils et l'envoi de fichiers est simple et efficace. J'apprécie retrouver mes cours en ligne sur la plateforme et utiliser le forum pour poser des questions aux élèves ou aux professeurs.
Inconvénients
L'ergonomie superbe sur ordinateur n'est pas du tout au rendez-vous sur smartphone, l'interface n'est pas adaptée.

Avantages
Moodle permet de faire ses travaux à distance. Ce qui donne la possibilité de travailler dans n’importe quel endroit. Les corrections des travaux se font de façon automatique et rapide.
Inconvénients
Le système de réponse à choix multiple pousse à confusion et aussi les questions sont généralement les mêmes, ce qui facilite le recopiage entre étudiants

Go-to learning tool for projects and employees
Avantages
There is no other software you should consider when looking at an eLearning tool. Specially in private projects (for training and handover) or for employees skill advancement inside the company. I particularly appreciate the possibility of adding scoring test during the courses, so we can draw a line of skill improvements over time.
Inconvénients
It is still time consuming to build learning modules. Also, theming is poor if you are looking into a full customisation that doesn't look like Moodle out-of-the-box. Get someone skilled that can help you build more advanced features or integrate it seamlessly in your intranet/portal.

Not the best, always caused issues, disorganized

It is a good idea to use a shared platform access by teachers and students
Inconvénients
I used Moodle in Univeristy when we switched online due to COVID. The organization was very confusing. Every professor could put information in different sections, there was no continuity amongst how to organize the pages. It seemed that there were too many options for how the platform could be organized/arranged, causing much confusion and messing up the notifications/way you navigate the page

Moodle is for ME!
Overall, I love using moodle and require all employees to take training courses on this platform.
Avantages
Moodle has been the most successful platform for Early Childhood Educators to take trainings on. It is extremely easy to navigate, even for our elderly workers. Moodle is self-paced, meaning if there are four modules and a staff member only has time to complete 2/4, they can stop and then pick up where they left off as time allows. You are also able to go back and print certificates at a later time, if needed.
Inconvénients
The only con we have experienced is that although the work is self paced, if you are in the middle of a module and lose connection to the internet, it does not save where you were within that module and you have to start from the begining.

Moodle has been quite improved, I absolutely love its advanced features. The experience was awesome.

Great product!
My overall experience with moodle was great! It took a bit of getting used to since I had used other online learning software in the past, but one I familiarized myself with the program it was easy to use to aid in my learning.

Easy to navigate and access coursework to aid in student learning.

The layout and technology is a bit different than other online learning programs which I have used.

Moodle, better for students or teachers?
I have 2 or 3 years using it, and its good for what it is used for, like turning in assignments, but no so good that I spend all my time using it

I really like must the calendar function, or like programming an exam to certain time, and how you can organize your semester in partials and also in subthemes, its like the best functionality

I think it´s the design, that isnt like minimalist, and for the first time it´s difficult to understand, also like some small components like icons

Moodle was very easy to navigate and to access course materials. The community forum also helped with collaboration for assignments and engaging in conversations that would otherwise be difficult in a virtual medium.
Avantages
Used in higher level education for managing access and content of courses. Interface was simple and easy to navigate. Allowed for ease with downloading, uploading, and submitting documents. Community forum was also very helpful for engagement and collaboration with classmates.
Inconvénients
No cons noticed with experience with Moodle so far.

Moodle gives you great value for money!
Overall moodle has been great to get us started with a learning platform, however, we have now outgrown this as a business and will need to transition to a different platform. It is the most affordable on the market and a great option for small businesses

It is a very affordable product - you get a lot of features for a great price and is great to start building out an online learning platform
Inconvénients
It is difficult to find support online about how to implement features or how certain features work like generating reports. There are several different versions of moodle so the information online isn’t always relevant

Useful but complex tool to run
I used it for my own association. I started with the School version (SaaS). And then, I installed my own Moodle on a server. I spent a lot of time configuring and maintaining the platform. I Also used it for project in NGOs in Belgium and France. And I also used it as an integrated part of a mobile app for Ukrainian Refugees.
Avantages
The flexibility, the reliability, the fact that it is an open source software that you can configure according to your need, the profusion of measurement and assessment tools both integrated and external plugins and themes.
Inconvénients
You need some good knowledge in programming and server installation to install, configure and maintain your platform up to date. I see that most educational institutions use outdated versions with security risks. Even though the software is free, running it can cost money since it demands serious skills to manage.

Moodle has been extremely easy to implement and administer. I would recommend it.

Moodle can be very low cost to implement, which makes it very effective for small and non-profit organizations. I really think Moodle is a highly effective piece of software.
Inconvénients
Moodle may not be as flashy as other paid LMSs, but it makes up for it with its customization options and flexibility.

Moodle is a hero!
We have used this product for many years and our institution has grown with it! We are glad we went with this learning management system oppose to others because of its efficiency and success it has brought to us.
Avantages
This product enhances the learning environment for both our students and teachers. With its ability to integrate other platforms such as panopto and element, students are able to collaborate and communicate efficiently in their courses.
Inconvénients
On the faculty side of moodle, it has been a challenge to migrate courses seamlessly from other platforms. We have found workarounds but have been tedious. With other products having a more modern look, moodle may need a user interface revamp to attract more customers and enhance the classroom experience.

We had an amazing time using the platform and helping those in need to check and work with the tools needed to interact with the students.
Avantages
Moodle was amazing at giving us tools to make guidelines, exercises and overall have an interactive virtual exchange with students.
Inconvénients
I think the user interface was improved over the time, but it still needs some work inside to make it better. The good part is that technical users can put effort in making it better.

Great for Annual Mamdatories
We have used the free moodle service and also the paid cloud version. The free service was great for the yearly mandatories we had. The reporting available was exactly what we needed.
Avantages
The bulk uploading of information is convenient. We use moodle for clinical testing and staff yearly mandatories.
Inconvénients
The customer service takes quite awhile to get back to you, along with coming up with solutions. The system can be very laggy at times.

solid platform but old and has limitations
Moodle is pretty decent for quizzes and courses and has been the goto for all my courses but it's kinda showing it's age, but at the same time there's not really any alternative aside from maybe canvas, it's alright.

Flexible, Customizable, and Reliable
As a long-time user of Moodle, I can genuinely say it’s one of the best tools out there for managing online learning and course delivery. From the start, Moodle impressed me with its flexibility and extensive features that make teaching and learning easy and engaging. Setting up a course and adding resources is intuitive, and I love that I can customize it to meet my course needs, whether it’s a small class or a large lecture series.

It has many great features such as; being mobile-friendly, highly customizable and flexible, strong security and privacy, and community support that shares resources, troubleshooting guides, and much more.
Inconvénients
I haven't noticed any missing features or tools for this wonderful platform, but I would love to see more updates in the future.

it was really cool to use Moodle in high school since it allows everyone to have it's own personal workspace and share any file with the persons in your organization and channels

a bit difficult to use some advanced features and also a bit slow compared to competitors, in particular for notifications

Moodle for the Virtual Classroom
I enjoy using Moodle, especially for direct communication with teachers. While working through my courses I can instantly email or message questions at any time of the day and get a response without having to be in the classroom. Moodle is very handy for keeping all of my notes in the same place.
Avantages
I like that Moodle acts as a virtual classroom, creating another link between students and teachers with instant messaging and file sharing capabilities.
Inconvénients
I found Moodle to have a strong learning curve. It took me awhile to figure out where to access all my coursework in my folders.

My overall experience with Moodle has been very good. Especially due to its flexibility and extensive feature set, which is best for both educators and learners.

My experience has been excellent with Moodle it really helps me to learn new things. The wide range of available tools like test and assignment helps to learn things quickly and responsibly.

I like how easily I find new courses to learn new thing. I can customize my courses as per my need. I can access Moodle from any device just need internet.

I dislike the user interface of Moodle it feels like old and out dated also it lacks the offline service which is the setback for it.

The most interesting bridge between educators and students
One of the best part of using moodle is that it can be easily accessed from any devices mostly from Android and iOS and by accessing a course just on the tip of your hand makes the learning process more flexible and efficient you can get to know about whatever course you want and whenever you want. We can do the classes and exchange our notes whenever I wants.
Avantages
Moodle is interesting platform which helps educators and students to get connected with each other and learn from each other It mainly helps teachers to provide notes, lectures, videos related to the skilled and courses which they are providing and it also gives chances to their users to interact with each other and chat with them and discuss about the topic which is going on by the educator for better understanding.
Inconvénients
Although I had a great using this platform but at the same time I would like to mention that moodle has Limited courses and while learning a particular course sometimes I have felt that the education and the information available in the platform is not enough so that anybody can rely on it completely for long learning experience.

Great software to manage my company and its personnel training!
In many cases, Moodle has made it easier to approach various issues within the firm, such as providing a single umbrella database for storing essential information, tracking performance improvement across the employees, and enhancing the interaction across the organizational departments. By using this software, we are able to enhance the training of our employees and also enhance efficiency of the firm.
Avantages
The best aspect of Moodle is that it has a simple and fairly more convenient to use approach for the building of courses and communication with learners. It also has a number of potential features that enable a change in or personalization of courses to fit the company.
Inconvénients
But there are times that I find myself transacting on the platform slow sometimes which can be quite annoying. Anyway, I would prefer if you could spend some effort in order to increase loading time and general response of the system.

User-Friendly Interface with Room for Improvement
My overall experience with Moodle has been positive. The ease of use, particularly on the mobile app, makes it a great tool for students. However, the scrolling issue does affect the usability a bit. Overall, I would recommend Moodle to others, as it enhances the learning experience significantly.

I really like Moodle’s website and mobile app. The interface is very user-friendly, making it easy to navigate through courses and resources. The mobile app is especially convenient for accessing coursework on the go, which I’ve found very helpful for my studies.
Inconvénients
One downside I’ve experienced is that when I scroll down in a course and open a section, returning to the main page always takes me back to the top instead of where I was. This can be frustrating when trying to find specific content quickly.

Learning with Moodle
Overall, I've a great time using Moodle. Inorder to organize coursework and monitoring marks, it's a useful tool. I value the flexibility it provides. Moodle could be even more user-friendly for students with a few UI upgrades, but it's still a good tool for online education.
Avantages
As a daily user, I appreciate Moodle most for keeping all of my assignments and course materials in one location. It's simpler for me to keep up with my studies when I can access lecture notes, assignments, and grades whenever I like to. The calendar feature also aids with workload management and helps me keep track of deadlines.
Inconvénients
The UI sometimes feels slightly confusing, particularly when looking for older assignments or resources. It might be easy to overlook significant updates from academics. Additionally, I've experienced difficulties while posting assignments because of trouble if the file size is too big.

Ich habe Moodle jeweils als Student und Dozent verwendet. Als Student ist man auf den Dozent oder Professor angewiesen, dass der Kurs übersichtlich strukturiert wird. Die Kurse waren idR. gut durchdacht und Material konnte schnell gefunden werden.
Als Dozent hatte ich anfangs einige Schwierigkeiten, mich mit den Anpassungsmöglichkeiten vertraut zu machen.
Avantages
Auf Moodle kann von überall zugegriffen werden. Mit der Applikation kann ich auch problemlos Dokumente über mein Smartphone hochladen und den aktuellen Lernstand abrufen.
Inconvénients
Die Benutzeroberfläche wirkt nicht sehr modern und besonders der Zeitaufwand, der benötigt wird, um als Dozent einen gut strukturierten Kurs zu erstellen ist nicht unerheblich. Besonders wenn man nicht mit den Funktionalitäten vertraut ist, kann die Einarbeitung nochmal mehr Zeit in Anspruch nehmen

Best Customisable LMS
One of the best LMS I have used, you may get an LMS ready to use however, it's very difficult to get a product a Moodle which can be curated as per your needs with full freedom of customisation.
Avantages
The range of customisation Moodle offers is top notch. You.may customize starting your brand logo to every aspect of content, course, lessons and assessment.
Inconvénients
It really takes effort to initially setup and you need a tech person to set it up and the administrator needs a lot of hands on training before learning the complete features.

Great software for inside training
I am really happy with that solution. Even given the security concerns, it is ran locally on our servers and we did some work to get that secured. We do have a lot of great experience with that software and it helps us develop skills and learn new things every day!
Avantages
It is free, fully customizable software that allows your team to develop a lot of quizzes! It it pretty easy to setup (if you have basic web development knowledge) if you want to do it yourself, but as far as I know you could just buy a tenant on their hosting and use it straight from there! Amount of customizations you can do there is amazing! From basic configuration things, to custom code you can provide there. Me and my team love it, when we educate ourselves about many different things!
Inconvénients
It is still an open-source software, so I am concerned about security of this solution.

It’s an innovative way to do work that needs to complete in time. And a great way to keep track of your progress
Avantages
I enjoy Moodle by the way they keep everything organized to make it easier to follow up on any type of unfinished work.
Inconvénients
It is somewhat of a challenge to communicate directly, especially as a college student trying to meet the deadline, it’s mainly connected through email so you have to message that way

One of the best LMS of Online University
LMS such as Moodle is one of the greatest things a university could ever rely to on times when unexpected things happened not just in a certain country but all over the world. I can't imagine what it would be like to continue studying without such help, it would be harder for sure. I appreciate how Moodle was both easy for the students and professors to navigate.
Avantages
The transition of face to face classes to online classes was full of both pros and cons. It was a bit hard and I could imagine how it could be harder more so if Moodle isn't there to help our professors. It was so easy to use Moodle, it is not as intimidating as other LMS that are too complicated, something that could add more stress to the students. It was a straight-to-the-point kind of app that is indeed beginner friendly.
Inconvénients
There is nothing I can say against Moodle because I only have a memory of it being nothing but helpful to us students who were having a hard time transitioning from face to face classes to online classes.

Fabulously customizable and accessible!
A great experience, have used many times as student and host and it is always mostly easeful - any hiccups are easily addressed by connecting with the Moodle team and it is highly customizable.
Avantages
It's great that it can be accessed via mobile, website or even desktop application for on-the-go access to classes, courses, files and more. It's easy to use and to customize.
Inconvénients
The internal email feature can sometimes be finicky or not send to all students, and Moodle does seem to have a connectivity problem if students are using hotmail, outlook or yahoo instead of gmail.

The best open-source learning tool
I work with a projet, my job was to deploy open-courses tool to improve learning experience using Moodle and kolibri. So, I deploy it in Cameroon, it was good, simple to handle for administrator, but not easy at all for student and instructor.
Avantages
Moodle is open-source software that can be installed locally for offline use in areas where the internet is unavailable. Moodle can be installed or deploy with offline context, i like it
Inconvénients
The user interface is the most complex. In rural area communities where learning is inaccessible, the Moodle user experience is really complex when it comes to courses and exercises.
