good for small businesses
Avantages
the leave tracking, time tracking is really good - if only it also had a very robust time tracker including screenshots etc - like time doctor or hubstaff - it'd be just perfect.
That said it has been very useful for HR management and payroll
Inconvénients
its a little complex to set up. takes a while to get used to the software and find your way around. Some preset leave policies in line with a few countries' labour laws would make life so much easier!

Powerfull features, that allows a business to take control of its software by using point and...
Avantages
I really like the fact that it offers large customization options to the administrator without requiring programming skills. It also integrates with the email system like a charm, without any configuration and the emails are sent very quick. The data structure is efficient and it also gives some interesting automation options.
Inconvénients
From the admin point of view, I have noticed some limitations for field values. For example I can not use a formula to set a data type field through workflow to display the current date when triggered. Also, the process of designing a template for a document takes time because you have a small area where you see the document you create and you can not use preview features. You just have to save and test it somewhere else every time.

Good Tool But Expensive
Zoho people is no doubt one of the best HR management tool. In my opinion, the software is great if you can afford it. We are small organization and its bit expensive for us.
Avantages
Loved the user interface. The features are awesome and its a pack of all the necessary features of HR management tool
Inconvénients
There were some glitches but the updated version cleared out all those glitches. Its bit expensive for a small organization and there are other options at better pricing.

Startup freindly software and best in the industry pricing model
Avantages
We've been using the app since past 15 days and it has already started working wonders for us by overcoming the human error aspect which had turned out to be a big headache. Many good features for HR
Avantages
Leave and time tracking all in one place. There is an import feature to get you started quickly. I was able to import employee information and vacation time from our previous system.
Inconvénients
There are a lot of features, and It takes a while to get the hang of it. Some of the features have enough documentation, and others not so much.

Best People management solution for any size of companies
Avantages
Zoho covers all the aspect of people management; from daily attendance to skills & training. And it helps to digitise and automate all the HR process in a company.
Inconvénients
Some bugs in some features. UI Can be improved a bit. Manual setup for forms will make little confusion but it gives more customizability.

Great Stuff!
Avantages
It honestly saves me a lot of stress with the Leave Request and Approval workflows. It also serves as a great director for my company.
Inconvénients
Well, I think I had some issues navigating around the application, the user interface can be made simpler.

Problem with domain verification wasn't solved for more than 1 week
Avantages
from description seems product really interesting. But with current state of things I was not able to use it with at least one more user.
Inconvénients
- domain validation is not done for more than 1 week.
- support can't help with this issue
- very poor support with answers that can't really help or absolutely not applicable to my case

All in one solution
Avantages
We were looking for an appraisal solution, however the additional extras (training log, time tracker and leave tracker) may replace our spreasheets. Really nice and efficient customer support.
Inconvénients
It takes some time to learn how all of the features work, however, you need to be through this learning process once.

Great potential in performance module.
Avantages
The performance module has great potential, the ability to map out and see the skill sets of individual employee is very helpful
Inconvénients
It's not that easy to figure out. I would suggest workflows/wizards to setup these things. The number of menu items are daunting.

Great Software
Avantages
Easy to figure out. Great for small companies that need bigger company HR software. Would recommend.
Inconvénients
Not many. Zoho support is sometimes hard to get a hold of and the forums are usually the way to figure out how to do something.

Zoho has made my job as a Human Resource Recruiter much easier.
I like Zoho People I just wish the price was not as high to make it more affordable for a small business with 15 employees.
Avantages
The ease of use, their help center has lots of great information, webinars, templates, I like the templates they offer.
Inconvénients
The price I feel is to high for a small business to make it an affordable purchase. I also wish the reports were run easier.

Avantages
Performance review can be easily done with this software. Reports are easily generated. Employees can check their own performance as well
Inconvénients
the leave management module is a very good section. Easily managed leaves on daily basis is possible at a single go

Recent user - Zoho People
As a new user, I see a lot of benefits of Zoho people. Though we haven't actively used all the features, the features we are using are effective.
Avantages
- It helps employee management better. I majorly use this for approving pending bills, invoices that other employees rise.
- We can define the organization structure and everything else is taken care of.
Inconvénients
- There are many features like attendance, leave plans etc which are present but not widely used in my organization. If only there is a way to link the google calendar with Zoho.
