Avantages

LineUPr ist sehr einfach zu bedienen. Man findet sich schnell zurecht und hat das setup in kurzer Zeit verinnerlicht. Der Support hat immer schnell reagiert und sogar Umsetzungen von Wünschen (bei mir ging es um die Voting-Funktionen) umgehend umgesetzt.
Der Zugang für die Teilnehmer der Events erfolgt eher "schwellenfrei", sprich ohne Installation oder Rücksicht auf die verwendete Software des Device (IOS, Android...)

Inconvénients

Sehe ich derzeit kaum. Push war bei mir ein Thema, was aber mittlerweile m.E. gelöst ist. Und sonstige Änderungswünsche wurden schnell angegangen oder begründet erst einmal zurückgestellt.

Dass die Agenda jederzeit geändert werden kann, auch wenn sie schon per mail verteilt ist. Und dass ich Bilder der Referenten einbauen kann.

Inconvénients

Wenn sich in der Agenda ein Vortrag verschiebt oder verlängert, müssen alle folgenden Vorträge manuell verschoben werden. Das würde ich mir automatisiert wünschen. Wenn ich eine alte Veranstaltung als neue kopiere, muss ich bei jedem Vortrag das Datum manuell anpassen, das wünsche ich mir auch automatisiert. Für meine Zwetägigen Veranstaltungen wünsche ich mir eine Gesamtansicht der Agenda, in der beide Tage auf einen Bildschirm passen. Diese Ansicht sollte auch druckbar sein

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist überragend! Wir verwendeten die LineUpr-App, um unser Festival-Programm zu kommunizieren. Fünf Tage lang nutzten 30 000 Menschen dieses Angebot. Auch die Presse, die über unser Festival berichtete, hob die Festivalkommunikation mittels LineUpr-App lobend hervor. Ein großes Plus sind die Push-Nachrichten, die sich im Vorhinein einstellen und abspeichern lassen. Ebenso gut ist die Interaktivität. Die Gäste konnten Veranstaltungen abspeichern und Künstler*innen mit einem Herz markieren. So ließ sich im Vorhinein einschätzen, wie beliebt das Konzert werden würde. Da die App gut strukturiert ist, lassen sich viele Einzeltermine leicht eintragen und ändern. Auch unser CI, zum Beispiel unsere Farben, konnten wir in die App übernehmen. Wir hatten etwa 250 Veranstaltungen an 5 Tagen auf 8 Räumen beworben.

By far the best and most honest service in the industry. no false promises and it is communicated from the outset what is possible and what is not. no problems with overloads and crashes of the app. Easy to use for participants and easy to load data into the app. can only recommend it! very good workflow. A few features really stood out for us. The ticketing system made it easy for attendees to book workshops in advance, which helped a ton with managing capacity. We also loved the push notifications! It was a great way to keep everyone informed throughout the day—whether it was telling people where to go for lunch, reminding them to sign up for workshops, or letting them know when to come back from coffee breaks.

The app was also a really helpful way for attendees to check out the agenda and learn more about our speakers and sponsors.

I loved the notifications feature but unfortunately there wasn't a way to schedule the notifications ahead of time so even though I had previously written them I had to keep my laptop on me to release them at the appropriate time.

We heard great things from another club at London Business School and we liked it was available as a web app that could be added to the home page on a phone.

I love how I can do changes in Event app in real time and also keep attendees informed. The setup is quicker to do it not take much time. Interactive tool such as polls and Q&A sessions keep attendee engaged.

We have found LineUpr a practical and easy to use event app, especially for bigger events (100+ participants) that offers an attractive and helpful way of informing everyone of the activities and communicating what is happening, including making participants aware of spontaneous changes. It is easy to re-use previous events as a basis for new ones and to customise the event visually using your own CVI.

It's great that the app can be accessed from the phone, and that participants can easily save the link on their phone home screen (no need to download the app).

Inconvénients

It would be nice to have a feature to enable chat or conversations within groups of participants. It is not so clear that you usually need to log out in order to refresh the app, it would be helpful to have an easy refresh button for this purpose.

We are a small festival run by volunteers, but we have 14 venues open on a one day festival. Getting a schedule, location overview, communicating with your visitors, it is what you want, but what takes ages to set up manually, or on your website. Lineupr is tailored for this: you fill in your data and boom, there's a webapp. It is standardized enough for everyone to understand, but it has enough flexibility to make it 'your own' with simple color options and branding placement. And all this without installing a new app, something that for a small festival like ours is a threshold. So ja, it is really perfect.

Inconvénients

The pricing is a bit confusing. It seems that you pay for attendees, but actually you're paying for accessed unique visitors. So if you're a bigger festival, something like TMSQR could be a good alternative with a fixed price.

Insgesamt war die Erfahrung großartig, wir haben die LineUpr-App zum ersten Mal für unseren Jahres Kongress genutzt. Wir konnten alle notwendigen Informationen übersichtlich allen Teilnehmer: innen aktuell zur Verfügung stellen, auch kurzfristige Änderungen durch die Push-Funktion.
Wir werden in Zukunft einiges an Printmaterial einsparen können, wir werden die App von Lineupr weiterhin für die nächsten Kongresse einsetzten!

The new push notification feature was a hit at our recent conference. The support team is always responsive on how to use features or addressing technical questions. If you need an affordable, user-friendly app, I highly recommend using LineUpr.

Angefangen vom Support, über die Bedienung bis hin zum Endergebnis sind wir extrem zufrieden. LineUpr kann einfach und schnell an die individuellen Bedürfnisse angepasst werden und ist durch die Import/Exportfunktion auch mit vielen Programmpunkten extrem schnell zu bestücken. Toll sind die vielfältigen Filterfunktionen.

Inconvénients

Wir hatten anfangs ein paar Schwierigkeiten mit der Anwendung der Filterfunktion. Eine kurze Info an den Support und schon wurde innerhalb von wenigen Tagen eine neue Version präsentiert. Einfach nur top!

The best features for our event that we really liked was the agenda with all the details (venues, speakers and links) and the awesome location map showing of all the venues of the event week. The map shows all the locations and can also be used for directions. The post feature also allows great possibilities to make users aware of some last minute changes etc. We also made use of the survey features which was very helpful.

Inconvénients

We know that the chat feature is available with the higher level of subscription which we unfortunately did not have - but this could be definitely a big added value for event participants and organizers. We had no issues whatsoever with anything.

What is on offer: It is possible to display information about the participants or information about upcoming events. In our case, over 150 individual events were held in two different locations. Participants can be searched by name. The events can be sorted in so-called "categories". A search within the events is then possible by category. Persons and events can be saved as favourites.
Simple surveys can be generated via the app. The results can be downloaded in Excel.
A "Post" function leads to the creation of short messages which appear on the screen when the app is opened.

Setting up the "App": The creation of participants and events is quick and easy. Programming knowledge is not necessary. The total setup time was about two hours, but depends of course on the preliminary work. I was able to take and transfer existing lists.

Which would be desirable:
In my opinion and based on the feedback from the participants, the app is almost perfect. However, a few ideas would improve the usability even further:
- It would be very good if the underlying website could also be accessed via a PC in the same way. In fact, not all people still have a smartphone. It would then also be possible to compile your favorites list on the big screen at home.
- It would be very good if events could be searched not only by category, but also by keyword.
- We were told that it would be desirable if participants could link to each other via the app and, for example, have a chat function.
- If a survey was created, it would be good if it appeared as a pop-up immediately when the app was called. This is now only possible with so-called posts.

So, so much! Everything I wanted to make our inaugural symposium look polished and professional was easily doable in LineUpr. The learning curve was brief, the ability to completely control content positioning was critical, there's tons of flexibility in labeling, images were crisp and clear, and the ability to duplicate content saved so much time.

Every time I thought I'd have to figure out a workaround for something "special", I'd either discover that the functionality was already there--either through my own diligence, or through prompt and effective support from the LineUpr team.

I really felt like LineUpr was an instrumental partner to making our event go smoothly, eliminate paper, and make the inevitable last-minute changes painless.

There were a few MINOR tweaks that caught my eye...setting background colors wasn't entirely obvious to me at first, and I'd like to see an option to disable the star ratings for sessions so users could be focused on the per-session surveys I created.

We liked that we could completely customize the interface to reflect our brand colors and logos. It was way easier to use than the previous platform that we had tried and Lineupr's customer support was much better too.

There wasn't really anything that we disliked. It would be great if there was some way for users to somehow print the schedule as some of our attendees still appreciate paper copies of things. Everyone else thought it was pretty great to be able to quickly find what they needed digitally.

It is very intuitive and easy to start working with LineUpr, so you can jump right in. The option to assign locations to the different items on the schedule is very helpful. That you can add these location to the integrated map makes the navigation for participants really easy and the option to post announcements to the front page is very handy for the organisers.

With an extensive schedule and a large amount of additional content editing gets a bit confusing but that's criticism on a very high level.

At Barcamps it is necessary to build the program plan fast after the session planning. Several Admins can put the offline planned sessions fast and simultaneous into the online session plan. The plan is great on mobile devices. You can change nearly everything on the design and prepare everything you know in advance.

We had a sponsored plan for the barcamp. But we had to ask for it. Perhaps it would be great to implement a free plan for nonprofit conferences and small feasts for engaged people and private persons.

What I liked best was the simplicity of entering data and editing it. The modern and appealing design fit wonderfully! The possibility to get feedback for the people and to launch surveys was great and very easy to integrate. The possibility to plan and publish contributions live and in advance is great.

Inconvénients

Unfortunately LineUpr does not allow a large number of modifiable contents. Contributions cannot be planned. The dashboard was only accessible via desktop - not very useful for a flexible use live at the event. Unfortunately no program points can be published without end. It was not possible to integrate program items into a superordinate program item. Working with categories is necessary.

Probably the best tool out there to facilitate communication during an event and give clients/ participants easy access to all the information they need. Super easy to handle, pretty and well Organized interface, in particular live time updates/ changes. We got only extremely positive feedback from our participants and will certainly use it again for every single event we'll organize from here on!

It was extremely easy to set up the event . It is quite user-friendly and has many useful functionalities for event management such as providing location maps, sending out surveys and posts and letting the participants put bookmarks into the schedule. I liked that the changes made during the event came immediately into effect. I also like that it's simply a mobile friendly website and people do not have to download and install an app.

There wasn't really anything I disliked. One functionality I would find useful to add is letting event participants register themselves as contributors/attendees.

The app was really easy to use. With the drag & drop it was almost self explaining, and with the mobile phone at the screen you can see ur changes right away. you can even use your own colors. It was the beste choise to use lineupr.
But it is not just the app that we liked, it also the customer service. we recevied 2 or 3 mails, where they gave a couple of hints.

While buuiling the event app, we had a little porblem to set up an extra menu. But after a quick call with the lineupr staff, it worked.
