J'ai beaucoup aimé l'interaction du logiciel, c'est un meilleur gestionnaire sans doute, un coût très abordable que je recommande à tous d'essayer

Le logiciel me permet de connaître mon planning pour la journée et les semaines à venir. Il est intuitif et facile à lire.

Le logiciel pourrait préciser les tâches qui sont partagées avec d'autres personnes.

Easy to use program for a small business as a central place for tasks, projects and personal

Inconvénients

Not being able to accurately time tasks, it would be really useful to have a timer instead of a logging system. No clear way of making tasks clear priorities for creative. System for logging could be better so that creatives can send any notes on incomplete/unstarted tasks back to the allocator.

Avantages

Easy to see forward into weeks ahead for project planning and resource planning. Can easily see when my team hit the limits on hours per day to see when a project is going to need additional resource called in.

Inconvénients

I don't think there is anything I don't like about Float.

Avantages

The colour coding of projects and ease of real-time alteration of bookings.

Inconvénients

The delete function at the moment makes it too easy to make a mistake and delete a booking in error.

Avantages

Float is a super quick way to make sure everyone knows who's working on what and when. Easy to quickly re-arrange scheduled to adapt to changes in projects.

Inconvénients

Interface misses some simple things (e.g. why can't I right click to copy/duplicate a task?)being able to converse on a task and track billable/non billable time would probably mean we could ditch some of our other tools...

Avantages

I used float at my previous workplace and the ability to integrate with other apps such as Teamwork was brilliant and its easy to use and amend.

You can filter down by project, title, names. You can also add details of the team members (what team they belong to, direct report or even simple tags like experience level)

Inconvénients

When you assign a team member to a project, and they need to work different hours in different weeks, you have to create an entry for each segment. E.g. 3hrs/day in Q1 and 4hrs/day in Q2, and then the same in Q3 and Q4, you need to create 4 different entries. It gets complicated if you program by week.

I would love for our timesheet tool to have an API so we can integrate Float, but unfortunately it is not yet possible.

Sometimes I find it too difficult to set up new projects, that option could be less complex

choosing reporting and many users using "and" app is crashing often, I need to refresh or roll down the screen againg, it's problematic

Inconvénients

I feel like it is overly-complicated and difficult to spread hours across resources / projects, and the reporting it confusing. It also doesn't allow you to add pass thru costs to a project seamlessly.

Avantages

One dashboard, one overview of all resources and it integrates with our job creation tool which makes it super easy for timesheets. Moving jobs to other days is just a drag and drop away.

Inconvénients

It would be awesome, if a job doesn't exist in our job management tool, if float could create it via push.

Avantages

I really liked the ability to have a real-time view of my team's availability and workload, with this I have been able to assign tasks more efficiently and ensure that all resources are being used optimally.

Inconvénients

I would like to point out that this platform is not the most intuitive tool in terms of its design and navigation because sometimes I find myself looking for certain features or functionality that are a bit hidden or not as accessible as I would like.

Avantages

It's difficult to know how exactly how my next week will go, and where I'll spend my time. Float allows for flexibility as I can track time to different clients easily, without lots of admin or support.

Inconvénients

The platform is visually quite busy, making it difficult to scan

I love that it is user friendly and easy to use. We are a service based business and it is therefore imperative that we are able to track time spent on each project effectively and accurately.

Inconvénients

I would recommend that they enable the downloading of reports into excel.

Float is simple to use, looks good, and has a good selection of shortcuts to make it easier

The new feature where it inputs your task for you based on the latest task from that project can be really frustrating

Avantages

Does what it says on the can! The app itself is intuitive, lightweight, and isn't bloated with features. It was easy to set up thanks to a detailed Help Center and a great onboarding team. The Float Community Slack channel is also an excellent resource.

Inconvénients

There are a few additional features I'd like, but the Float team is pretty transparent with their roadmap, so I'm confident most of those will be added in the coming months.

Seeing all of your different projects in one place, being able to see what others are up to and ensuring others can see your capacity.

Inconvénients

It would be helpful if Float was integrated into your calendar so automatically took note of meetings.

It's great that Float updates live. I can have a chat with my account service team and watch the schedule populate as they fill it in. Being able to see my availability at a glance (or whether I'm over capacity) is a great feature.

Inconvénients

It would be better if I could disable email reminders from float at a user level. I could not find an unsubscribe option when management decided I needed a daily reminder email.

Avantages

It helps me set up the time that I am going to dedicate to each of my projects in my company and also gives information to my boss.

Inconvénients

At first it is not very intuituve and you have to investigate a little bit through the app to find how it works.

The ease of use and helping things to be clearly organised throughout the team.
