Wrong Advertisement

The transition to StoreEdge has been nothing but a nightmare. They way they starting communicating since the beginning is just unacceptable, everything is through a chat and you don't get notifications when someone sends you a message. You don't get to communicate with them via email or phone, you can be provided with phone numbers but they will never answer. The training needs a lot of improvement, as a first time user you are only hoping to get familiar with the software through proper training, unfortunately the training is non-existent. All they do is send you videos and links you have to watch and complete, you don't get to practice with any account until you are officially switched over, is like going to school without having a teacher.
I wish we can go back and never sign up for this software, we were sold the idea of a software that will improve things, the truth is, all of that is misleading information just to get you signed up with them. The correspondence with tenants/customers within the system is a disaster, there is a lot of limitations on things you can and cannot do. Just to create a simple template is way more complicated than the software we used to have. If you have a question, get ready to contact a helpless customer support team that does know anything, you can tell they are reading you instructions on something that they don't even know how to resolve, we have to ask with a manager after spending time with the "first tier" just because they don't seem to understand the importance of solving an issue for a customer. They will always give you basic solutions/alternative solutions instead of really give you the answer you are looking for.
They have NO billing customer support team, if you have a billing question, just call, leave a voicemail and wait days for them to reach out to you via email, they don't even return the call, they'll just send you an email acknowledging your request, but they are not help at all. I am not sure if StoreEdge is trying to automate things way too much and forgot that human interactions is still needed. Whoever is in charge, needs to get fired and restructure this software.

Avantages

As much as we are trying to find something that would make us like this software, there is nothing positive to say.

Inconvénients

The transition team, Customer Support, the "glitches" in the system. The training system.
Our company has been using this software for over a month now, it has been a nightmare to say the least, there was no proper instructions during the transition, once the product was sold and the agreement was signed, we were on our own. Literally, you have to teach the system yourself, all the do is send you "links". We have to reach out to higher ups to get some assistance and have been transferred to different people.

Do not buy StoreEdge products!

No problems were solved by storedge, only created.

Avantages

The interface and software seemed fine during the demo.

Inconvénients

We have had nothing but problems setting up our data and almost every component of the software. The implementation team is definitely not trained in data. We were supposed to have features like phone integration, transfer of autopay from previous vendor, and access to the gate controller. None of these happened. Countless customers have wrong info and are locked out of the facility. We wanted to switch to storedge to save work and time but this has been nothing but a headache due to incompetence.

Not a Friendly software

No Not use this company or any of their services. Beware!

Inconvénients

We purchased 2 Storage Unit Facilities four years ago. The software company was small and very user friendly. After selling our 2 facilities June of 2022 the company had been bought out and had lost any customer service they once had. Continues loops and charges not being reversed after canceling their services for obvious reasons.

Wish we'd never switched

If it were easy to transfer data from 1 software to another we wouldn't have stayed w/StorEdge after the 1st few "trial months"
An iPhone app would make a works of difference!

Avantages

Easy-to-read graphs on dashboard

Inconvénients

Crashes often
Unexplained bugs
Tendency not to update (communication between gate software, payment software, etc)
The selling point of this product was the cloud-based feature which would enable access from anywhere ... but the desktop doesn't fit onto my iPhone 6screen
The "additional contact" under the tenant tab could be formulated in a more visually striking (bold/different color?) format.

Worst Software Experience Ever

None

Avantages

Sales Demo was excellent - service and software dismal

Inconvénients

Unstable technology & terrible support. They billed me and withdrew money from my bank account without an invoice. You can't speak to anyone in billing. A total nightmare!!!!
