Accurate and relliable
Overall, this is a superb app to use, good value for money too.
Avantages
What I like about time doctor is the customer service they provide, they answer and help you with every question you have until an issue has been solved.
Inconvénients
I just don't like the screenshot part of this app, though I am working, it doesn't give me privacy.

Es un software de los mas util para que las empresas, sobre todo las medianas o grandes empresas, que tienen dificultades para el control de las jornadas laborales, puedan gestionar el tiempo de sus empleados para aumentar la productividad.O en el caso de ser trabajador por cuenta propia saber cuanto tiempo estas malgastando a lo largo de la jornada.El programa permite la creacion de informes o analisis al final del dia que te llevara a tener un vision mas clara de la gestion de tu tiempo a lo largo del. diaEl monitoreo es automatico aunque tienes que inicarlo tu mismo. A su vez se detendra en el momento que no detecte movimiento en el raton o pulsaciones en el teclado.
Inconvénients
La desventaja es la misma que en muchos programas que conozco, que es el precio.Apenas son 5 euros al mes, pero hay que tener en cuenta que no tiene demasiada funcionalidad para pagar 5 euros la mes.Y en el caso de alguien que quiera gestionar el tiempo de sus empleados esto subiria a 10 euros por empleado.Deberian aumentar su versatilidad y asi quizas valdria lo que cuesta.

Many useful features but support for a solo user is minimal and getting worse
The customer service has been quite good, though most of the time the answers to my questions have been that the feature I need is not available, not customizable, and will not be added to future releases.
Avantages
I found the software easy to install and use. The reporting feature is not as flexible as it needs to be, but the product is a big help in helping me track my time usage.
Inconvénients
I bet that many users are capable of managing a report customization system, but no such option is available. I end up editing the reports extensively, and that rather defeats the purpose of using the product. I am the only person in my office who uses this product, so I am not managing anyone. There are features that are incredibly annoying because they do not apply to me, yet I still need to deal with them. For example, the latest update requires entering a reason for adding time manually. I know the reasons, and find the extra mouse and keyboard clicks incredibly annoying.

Timedoctor is good for time tracking
I have been using the TimeDoctor for the last 2+ years, I started using the TD v1, and now I'm on TD v2
I can track my time as well and see time reports, my company has its own system to manage PTOs, this system has integration with the timedoctor to add hours automatically.
I like the TD integrations with others apps

These features are our main dashboard for looking into the productivity | Activity of our employees. It helps us identify low productivity time if the employee is slacking off.
Inconvénients
We observed no auto-detection report in terms of any abnormalities in the keyboard and mouse activity. There are employees who took advantage of this wherein they just put a stopper or any heavy object in the arrow down key, this will be detected as keyboard movement.

Great for tracking remote employees
I moved to a remote workforce (even before the pandemic!) and TimeDoctor helps me do that with peace of mind by allowing for supervision.
Avantages
Time Doctor allows me to make sure my employees are working and billing their time without me being a nag. It has time clocks, screen captures, and reports, so I can see what they are doing any time I want, without them being aware of when I am watching so that I don't interrupt them or make them anxious. It also helps catch billable time and improve time wasting habits.
Inconvénients
They advertise that they work with payroll. But the software is not compliant legally with U.S. employment law (I am an employment lawyer so I am strongly aware of this). It is focused more on independent contractors, but most companies should be using this for employees instead of contractors. For employees, you will still need to have a separate time clock and use a good payroll company. So the clocking can be redundant and may annoy your employees.

Tracking your time in your on-line job? Time Doctor is the best.
It's just absolutely great and worthwhile.
Avantages
It's so user friendly and convenient in tracking time and reporting to one's manager. All its features are essential for my work. I can just log in to it and track my time for my client. This also makes me trustworthy to my client that I do my work at the designated time given to me.
Inconvénients
I don't see any feature in Time Doctor that I don't see essential.

There's no better system to use for activity tracking
I am solving employee's issues. I am overseeing what they do, and how they manage their own time. Plus, it allows us the possibility to have back-up data in case of a client's complaint.
Avantages
I think TimeDoctor has become one of those critical tools that we wouldn't be able to run our business without it. Screenshots activity is one of the most used features within our organization and it allows us to actually oversee and prevent any potential issues that may arise.
Inconvénients
Not at all. I think the app overall is fantastic and should be your daily companion.

I am able to maintain transparency with my clients at all times. TimeDoctor helps me track my hours and provide documented proof of work and give my clients a better view of how I complete my work/tasks.
It also helps me in managing my time better.
Avantages
TimeDoctor is straightforward and easy to use.
I like that the desktop tool offers two versions: Pro and Lite, which helps you to choose the right application based on your usage and computer's resources.
TimeDoctor also has a lot of integrations - particularly to different Project Management tools. This is especially helpful with managing different clients who each have a different preference on the project management tool that they are using.
TimeDoctor is also very cost-efficient for me as a freelancer/consultant.
Inconvénients
The price of additional users is a bit expensive for entrepreneurs who are just starting their own team, but overall, it is a worthwhile expense.

Great for knowing how long a project took!
I'm keeping on task with the things that have to happen every day as well as have a way to look back and see what tasks are done at certain times of year. This helps us plan our department schedule for each upcoming year so we don't forget anything.
Avantages
Create your own projects and tasks. Works great for keeping a step by step task list for each project. Ability to edit time for when software updates and/or restarts are required. I love using Time Doctor Pro as my personal time keeper at work.
Inconvénients
Not so much of a con but more of a feature request: it would be great if the software kept some sort of log of active document time. I tend to work on a few documents at a time and it would be great to know how much time is spent on each document without having to manually switch projects/tasks for each document. I almost exclusively use Adobe Creative Cloud programs and Microsoft programs using Mac computers.

Review on Time Doctor
Time Doctor is our trusted time tracking software. I think the management will not make any changes as to how our time logged should be accounted for. We are very reliant on TD, the HR head bases all our activities on TD so it is kind of a part of our family.
Avantages
It helps me validate my hours logged to the company I am working for. The software is very customizable depending on the need of the management; it gives a nudge when you are already dozing off while it's running and the option to go back to working or to take a break is very straightforward.
Inconvénients
There's this notification that I should log off TD to do a software update I guess which annoys me especially when I am engrossed working and my time needs to be tracked. But there is an option to run the update while the the tracker is running so it's doable and manageable for me.

I like the feature that it keeps track of actual time - time in and time out, breaks, as well as offline hours.
Inconvénients
Remote workers should be careful and cautious in using Time Doctor since it will get screenshots as well as record browsing history. So while working, the remote worker should make sure that he/she is not doing nonwork-related activities.

A potent tool for time tracking for independent contractors
As an independent contractor, it is important that I keep a track of my time spent on my tasks and projects. Time Doctor allows me to do that efficiently. The wee app that it comes with is useful once you get the hang of it. The good thing is that even if you cancel the wee bar, you still have the tracking running which is great.
A couple of gripes - it keeps reminding you if you are back at work if you have paused the tracking - that is a bit annoying. And second gripe is regarding the random screenshots that can capture personal information. There should be a way in which these screenshots can be blurred.
Other than that, an efficient software that I use frequently.

The screenshots are taken randomly which is a breach of privacy if you were on a window that has a personal email open. Whoever is the administrator that sees your screenshots taken by the system will also be able to see your personal information. One has to be rather careful when using TimeDoctor that no personal window or task is open so as to not share that info in a random screenshot.

I found the Time Doctor app to be a great asset due to its easy-to-use time tracking capabilities and comprehensive features. Must-have for managing remote developers and freelancers
I'm using TimeDoctor for about 6 years across 3 different companies/teams, to manage remote workers. It helps me to track productivity, better estimate certain tasks in the future, and to quickly see when a person is not well-motivated.
Avantages
1. It provides the abilities to track time in a really simple way.
2. It provides native applications for all major desktop OS (MacOS, Windows and Linux).
3. It provides the screenshots feature sometimes can really help to understand what's going on.
4. There's a really helpful team behind the product.
Inconvénients
1. They removed GitHub integration.
2. Long and not-seamless sync of tasks with a remote system (I expect such things to work much faster and in background mode)
3. Our Linux developers sometimes experience issues with the app.

A considerable tool if your manpower works remotely.
Since we have moved to remote, the biggest issue we had was data security and productivity management. With Time Doctor, we can manage the IT security, but still, we need to relay some manual reports for productivity.
Avantages
The overall user interface is good. Easy to navigate with all the options. Flexibility to manage the screenshot timings. Reports are pretty straightforward, and the dashboard gives a good overview of productivity.
Inconvénients
Comparing to other tools we have recently explore, it has limited options. The cost is at the higher end. The installation and uninstallation process is too messy. I consider this more like a screen capturing or employee monitoring tool rather than a complete productivity tool.

Great potential, needs several improvements
It really makes me angry to have to deal with the problems it has. My days would be better if you fix them. My team and I use the integration with Asana. That integration is not great, as well as the experience of Editing Times in Time Doctor related to the tasks created in Asanaa

So far, good. We like how TD has helped to understand how our employees spect their day and where, like websites, idle time, breaks lunch, and more.
Avantages
We liked this time management and tracker App; it has helped us to monitor our employee's activities and track their times; it's great to see how Time doctor measures productivity and compares to members each other, it is interesting how you can check the idle time (the time we pay our employees)
Inconvénients
Some of our employees have a complaint about this app because it gets frozen very often; even though they click the play and track time button, sometimes the app doesn't track the time, and employees are not getting paid for not tracking time, but they claim is because TD freeze and the App suddenly closes

Recommended Time Tracker
I am satisfied with Time Doctor and for more than 2 years it never gave me any issues on tracking my time.
Avantages
I like the feature of time doctor to be able to sync on certain apps that you can precisely take note of the time spent on that project. It also has a feature that reminds you if you are still working, that you might have forgotten to start your time or if you need to stop your timer if you are doing something that is not under your scope of work.
Inconvénients
There is really not much to dislike about time doctor unless you hate having your work tracked.

Productivity stile
I am having a satisfactory experience, even comparing it with other software that perform the same functions. The TD has helped me to significantly improve my performance as an analyst, this has the same impact on personnel as monitoring to the point of achieving objectives that in principle seemed unattainable.
Avantages
Certainly I liked the amount of options, speaking of indicators that help us manage staff and increase productivity significantly. Not only see captures, but also see the activity of their peripherals and the apps and programs they use
Inconvénients
More than a "Cons" i would like that indicators such as low activity may be visible to individuals and not only to those who have TD group management. In turn, that this indicator can be traceable not only in the last 7 days of work but in editable periods of time, example: the last 3 days of work

Spent a lot of time researching - Time Doctor won out
After using my own spreadsheet to record my time use for some years, it became cumbersome and there were the inevitable "holes" in my tracking. After researching and using various software packages to track my time I settled on Time Doctor primarily for its ease of use. After using Time Doctor for a number of years I am very satisfied with my choice. Not only does it accurately track my time use but it also helps me to stay "on target" but I'm also able to quote my projects more confidently knowing how long my projects actually take. The entry of tasks is quick and easy; the breakdown of tasks in various reports is also a great benefit.

Real time monitoring and tracking
Superb and very effective. It has been a great tool to optimize the productivity.
Avantages
It is a very powerful tool which helps in order to track and monitor the tasks of the workers. It captures the different tasks performed all the day and the kind of tabs opened by the workers. This is also used by the remote workers who are providing virtual assistance on the hourly basis and get paid as per the report generated at the end of the day. One can also track the idle time of a person and shows the amount of time spent on a specific tasks.
Inconvénients
Everything is great and sometimes it troubles using the application on the smartphone. Rest I dont see any kind of trouble with the user interface of TD

Easy and Efficient Software
My overall experience with Time Doctor has been great, easy to set up, easy to use and the customer support is great. You do not have to wait long for your query to be resolved. I always recommend Time Doctor for anyone who is looking for time tracking software.

The new time doctor and classic time doctor confuses me. I have nearly lost my account before logging into the wrong one and trying to set up a new account as I didn't realise i was on the wrong version. Very confusing.

Love it!
I really enjoy it! It makes my remote working experience super easy, and I know the people who I work for really enjoy knowing what I'm doing for work each hour.
Avantages
I love how easy it is to clock in and out, and see how long I'm spending on each task!! It's also been great for invoicing and tracking the time spent working for this company.
Inconvénients
Sometimes there are glitches where the time that I have clocked in is slightly off here and there, and sometimes it does get annoying that it will clock me out if I haven't clicked around for 3 minutes.

Was brilliant until recent changes/improvements..
Up until recently I would have said 'brilliant, what a difference in my life'. Right now I'm looking at other options while I wait for the support team to send emails back and forth..
Avantages
I have loved using timedoctor and referred many people to it. It has been amazing in helping me keep a track of time spent on different projects with numerous clients. It was also easy to go back and amend time if I had forgotten to change the activity when starting a call etc. Easy to use on the iPhone app while on the road.
Inconvénients
Help desk and all interactions used to be via chat. That seems to have stopped - sadly!

Best Time Tracker for Freelancers
Overall satisfied as I am able to track the hours of work I've done within the day and the websites I visited most frequently.
Avantages
I love that it has the ability to notify quickly if I am going to a website that is not work-related. It keeps freelancers on track and focus with our tasks for us to be productive within the day. It makes sure that we work in a timely manner and it will stop the time if I become idle for more than 15 minutes. I also liked he feature where it can detect websites I visited most frequently, I believe that feature can be beneficial to both the client and the freelancers.
Inconvénients
I'm not exactly sure if it is a glitch but there are times when I am just on a videocall with my client and I'm not typing anything on the screen, it will still ask if I'm still working. I'm not sure if it can also detect that I'm using voice feature at those times. It will be better if it can though.

Amazing. I couldn't imagine running my business without it.
Avantages
I love the ease of use in getting this software working, and it does that straight out of the box. Very little setup is required and after 2 and a half years using it, neither myself or employees have ever had any issues with it. It makes Payroll a breeze, and I love how in depth the reporting is which makes working with clients so much easier being able to show them time reports and logs. I highly recommend this to anyone I know in the online industry and will continue to do so for a long time!
Inconvénients
It would be great for the manual time if we could limit the amount that is allowed to be added.

Well, I just use it for work only, neutral about the overall experience, as it's something I have to do, not that I want to do it.

Very Useful!
So far, I am happy with the services that Time Doctor offers. If you could work on the web and app ratings per projects, that would be wonderful! ;)
Avantages
I like the fact that we are able to measure our team's productivity especially that we're currently working remotely due to the pandemic. I have to admit that handling 30-40 staff members is a bit challenging in terms of measuring productivity but with Time Doctor, I don't have to worry about keeping an eye on my team from time to time. Very easy, just pull up the report and there you can see who has worked efficiently and not. I like it!
Inconvénients
I know we have already raised this to Time Doctor but it would be great if there's a way for us to set ratings per project. I'm handling 10-12 projects at the moment and it's very challenging for me to still check regularly their web and app usage just to ensure that I am sending accurate reports to each clients. That's all

Just what you need for Team Tracking!
We took the subscription of Time Doctor at the time of the Pandemic when we were fighting hard to track our team. Time Doctor proved a boon at that time and we didn't stop using it after that. We used it with a few clients who had an hourly agreement with us and the clients were totally at ease with the reports that we shared with them and with the option that they could also ask for screenshots. We couldn't find a single bug in the software in the two years of our subscription.
Avantages
We had been using this software for close to 2 years and we love how simplistic the UI and UX is. It's not hard to find anything at all and it's a breeze to use. The best part is the screenshots functionality. Working remotely at the time of Covid, it was such a blessing to use Time Doctor to monitor and track our team. The clients were also at ease knowing that their projects were being worked on without any delays or hiccups!
Inconvénients
There was nothing much to dislike about this software. I just wished it was more affordable for a small team.

Time Doctor Works!
Overall, Time Doctor is a very useful tool in which we use daily for a number of reasons. As we have used Time Doctor consistently for a number of months we have been able to increase utilization scores for our employees & refine our systems to work better to meet our team time & needs overall.
Avantages
Time Doctor allows for a in depth view for each employee & time per project spent. It is a helpful feature to ensure our teams are working to reach their highest utilization per department.
Inconvénients
The navigation within the program is somewhat confusing & not as clearly laid out as I would like. As well as we have had consistent issues with getting Time Doctor to work on mobile platforms.

Avantages
Easy to use and setup, along with great accuracy of tracking. Better than any option I have seen in the market.
Multiple platforms supported gives me the ability to track from anywhere, anytime.

Avantages
Time Doctor is a great tool for monitoring time and attendance for employees. It enables visibility of the person and what the person is working on.
Inconvénients
Lack of privacy for the end user. If the person is not using the tool, it can be seen as if the person is not working, which is not always the case. For example, if the person has personal needs like going to the toilet, it can lead to micromanaging and a lack of dignity. The person can add manual time; however, it's an old system where the person is micromanaged.

Very great tool for monitoring remote employees
Time Doctor has saved us tons of time and money as we are sure that workers are doing what they should be doing during hours logged in.
Avantages
The best part of Time Doctor that differentiates it from the rest of similar apps is that it takes random screenshots throughout the duration of a user that is logged in. This allows us to view their activities and making sure that our workers are productive and time billed is spent wisely and efficiently.
Inconvénients
The cost would be a factor, but they do have volume discounts so that's not really a deal breaker for us.

Easy to use and cost effective
Detailed time tracking that makes the billing process to clients much easier.
Avantages
Easy to track time. Great back-end functionality. Ability to assign admins that don't need time tracking. White-label client portal.
Inconvénients
Screenshots are only retained for 12 months. It's too easy to track time on the wrong project. You can fix it quickly, but you end up with a few seconds tracked on the wrong task.

Great app though
I like it and would definitelly recommend to other teams, and honestly, could be better though.
PS: I thing you should enhance the experience on your API Docs.
Avantages
It's easy after a while, I can see what I'm working currently from seeing the tab anywhere on my screen, as much as my colleagues from my team's dashboard.
Inconvénients
Well, sometimes it doesn't synchronize well and I have to remember exactly what I was working those times and finally manually set on TD's dashboard.
Also, not all users are able to search a project's name from the app, they have to open the dropdown and search by themselves. It's bad because when we have many projects it gets odd.

Not a way to improve productivity.
Not a great experience. People are not robots that have to be infront of the computer 8 hours a day and constantly typing or moving the coursor. The webcam shot feature is beyond a invation of privacy, mostly for people who work from home. It is a micromanagement app that is completly unnecessary.
Avantages
The app is pretty easy to use.. You load tasks and start them by clicking on PLAY. It has lots of features including webcam shots, screenshots, time tracker and pop up that asks whether you've been working when there's no activity on the user's side. They have a computer and mobile app.
Really good feature is that as a company you can set it up to blur screenshots taken so no information is leaked.
Inconvénients
It does not help employees to be productive. The sign that pops up when there's no mouse or keyboard activity shows even when you're watching a video, on a webinar or even making a presentation in which is mostly talking and it is not only super unprofessional but also, if you fail to click on the "Yes (I am working)" the time worked will turn orange and labeled as "Manually added time".
