1) Sometimes the App gives unnecessary alerts concerned with unrelated websites. For example, social media site: When users opened Twitter or Facebook pages, the app notified these sites as non-productive sites, despite that user was doing communications and media PR.
2) There were problems to log in and connect to the software via tablets and smartphones. Screenshots were not visible for users t check.
3) There could be improvement in integration. We had difficulties to integrate to Assembla

I liked that Time Doctor helps me to confirm our freelance team is working the hours they should. This gives me more confidence when assigning larger tasks with tight timelines.

Sometimes the URL goes to an older website version on Time Doctor. Where it is impossible to sign in or navigate back to the new version. When this happens, I have to reset my browser cache to fix the issue

We have a small marketing department that manages an incredibly large workload. The 4 of us cover writing, video, product labels, website, photography and more. Time Doctor is an incredible asset and allows us to accurately track where projects are, how long they're taking, and where the hold ups are. This is essential for us as we often have multiple projects running simultaneously. One standout feature for me is the client view. We love being able to show our works-in-progress without having to finish, or send off incomplete items. People can simply join our work session and give us on the spot thoughts and advice.

Inconvénients

The price can scare off smaller businesses/single-person businesses (but it's totally worth it), and the occasional bug can present an issue every now and then, but nothing horrible.

In the short time that I used this software there was not a single thing I liked. But if I had to say one thing, it would be it's price, it's not as expensive as other time tracking softwares.

I didn't like the lay out of the software it's very hard to understand, also the time I tracked kept going down every time I opened the desktop app. Another thing was their support team, kept sending emails for no reason, and very unprofessional emails.

Support is great. There is a chat popup in case you have any issues. The response is pretty fast, less than 24 hours.

Easy to use, it has a nice easy to master and use interface.

Installation on linux was quite a task. Most especially for linux users who were not running ubuntu. I am using debian derivative but it was quite a task doing the installation. I had a chat with one of the customer care agents and I can see the issues that were there have been resolved and the download on downloads page works fine without even additional installations.

The users are not offered with functionality to delete screenshots. Only company administrators can delete screenshots.

Not my way to handle the situation but they are billing me month after month even after I have stopped using it. The software is running in stealth mode and extracting information even if I want to get rid of the same.
There is no way to discontinue the product. No one at tech support responds to emails. The sales guy [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] does not even respond to email. No way to reach them except emails.

I expect a refund of the services. There are many players in the market that play ethical. I consider ethics as the first thing to consider in any business relationship and I will give them -100 for that.

We had been using Time Doctor in our company for remote management of employees and for time tracking for some of our clients who wished that the time be tracked for the tasks that we worked on for them. I must say that after exploring 2-3 options, Time Doctor was one option that truly worked flawlessly. No issue was faced ever, be it installing on Mac or Linux or Windows or be it screen capturing or task management or a host of other activities that were tracked using Time Doctor.

There was nothing to not like about this software. The only reason we shifted to another solution was that we were getting a pretty cheap Life Time Deal on another such solution.
