Excellent

Avantages

I really enjoyed with our property manager. She always had nice answers whenever there were any issues.

Inconvénients

There were occasional connectivity issues. The two-way connection isn't perfectly set up on all the channels.

No support neither in the startup phase

Connection to Expedia.

Avantages

We made a one year agreement, we had no problems with Expedia connection, they connected our properties to Expedia without any issue and in a smooth way.

Inconvénients

Airbnb connection doesn't work, they spent two months without managing to connect our properties without success.

Very good service

Avantages

We receive a very good customer service. The connection are working fine with a large list of channels which is good to get more exposure.

Inconvénients

Sometimes there are some connection that are not successful but Rentals united alert us immediately by e mail so we have enough time to enter the reservation in our system to avoid double bookings.

The Channel Manger business is a difficult business !! RU try to standardize something...

avvertite more for a reasonable price

Avantages

to be connected with many OTA (is what a channel manager is ....) and (my account manager) who tried to make my life easier.

Inconvénients

I understand is a difficult business. but the technical support must be MUCH better. A single mistake of them means lost of money for me.
Every OTA has a different business model and RU tries to fit a data set coming from a PMS with tons of OTA !!!!! near impossible !!! and at the and is: technology from many different producers + many different customer service/onboarding procedure + different meanings for the same data !!!!
Ok is connected by XML and so seems easy but is NOT easy.

All your rental channels in one!

Avantages

Rentals United is very useful to manage a few different booking channels. It's easy to integrate and works with Guesty. The support team is always present and helpful.

Inconvénients

It's not possible to block a particular day to have no check-in. You must call each channel's support and do it manually.

Great

Avantages

From the first day we had an excellent assistance from the girl who took care of us to implement the system, which channels we could connect, which is relatively easy to establish the connection, although there is another part that does not depend on Rentals United, You have to contract it directly with the channels where you want to distribute according to the conditions of each channel. We have always had excellent assistance from them and is easy to schedule an appoint with our account manager. We are still in the process of connecting with several channels but so far we have not had any problems.

Inconvénients

It would be great to have a trial period before making the payment. It would also be great to be able to configure more aspects of the properties like the price for instance without having to do it property by property

Channel Manager

I choose RU to reach the highest level of automation for my company ... we are getting there!

Avantages

This is a young company and they are making a big effort to improve and reach every day higher quality standards!

User side I've received, I receive and hopefully will receive the best support possible from the IT department and most important my account manager representative who is incredibly understanding of what are the problematic of the job, helpful and ready with a solution!

Inconvénients

the granularity of the system needs to be improved
one system needs to fits all, and I understand its hard but it will make the difference.

Excellent setup and response helped me grow my business and many others

[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was a wonderful help and resource for all things OTA and we're really glad to have found them. Thanks to this team, we were able to launch all 400+ of our homes online with ease.

Avantages

Very easy to set up, customer support team was there every step of the way to encourage the right moves.

Inconvénients

Some set up issues but mostly on our side. We ended up learning more about ourselves and our rate structure to getting our system more in line with what works well with the major OTAs. We made quick changes that were effective thanks to their solid support team.

Very helpful team from start to finish. Highly recommend if serious about making more bookings!

Increase in listing sites our properties are on which increases our bookings and occupancy rate.

Avantages

The ability to add a mark up on pricing to counter the listing sites commission (airbnb, booking.com etc). This results in any bookings received from the listing sites linked through rentals untied come back at full price no loss to owner.
Instant connection for availability and rates.
Constant communication with rentals untied allows full understanding of the system.
Once set up you receive a account manager who solely wants to broaden your online advertising reach and increase bookings.

Inconvénients

It is slow to get started but once its set up it is easy to work.. Each listing site has different systems that take time to get use to. Using rentals untied is an increased work load but you do increase occupancy.

simply the worst out there

Avantages

There nothing to like. Nothing really works. The fact that i had several double bookings says it all

Inconvénients

not easy to use. takes a lot of time to set up your rentals, customer service is absolutely terrible and most important it's very little value for your money

After over 2 months I am still not fully connected

Frustration

Avantages

I tried to cancel my contract 2 days outside of the 14 days cancellation period. I wasn't allowed.
After over 2 months I am still only connected to one channel, which I had to spend 2 days reviewing the listings.
It takes days to get a response to an email.
A bad mistake for me

Inconvénients

I paid Rentals United to set up new channels for me but I have had to set up all the connections and after 2 months I am still not connected properly.

Firstly during your introduction call with our on-boarding team, we do explain the process regarding our responsbilities to you. We can assist in getting you live in the channels but we don't do the whole set up for you. This requires time and effort on your part and our rates reflect this self-service model.

I can see that you are already connected to 5 different channels including booking.com. I know you're in contact with Matthew who I am sure will help you get online in more.

Efficient and reliable solution

I have choosen Rentals United in order to optimize my activity (holiday rentals). Yield management is easier for my company now. Besides I discovered new partners which bring me a higher profitability.

Avantages

Efficiency, speed, number of partners.
My account manager is friendly and very efficient.

Inconvénients

The price is a little expensive for a little company like mine.

its been frustrating because support has been very busy which is understandable

I am not sure as of yet. Has only been about a month. Still don't have even 5 channels going.

Not sure about software as of yet. Never channeled before and was hoping for a lot more support but Daniel and George are really trying

Inconvénients

will let you know as soon as I am up and running with all the channels. Have two now as of today. I am very excited to make this happen. It is just not fast enough and has been very time consuming

The connectivity, simplification and real time availability and rates updates to all of our OTA partners. Before RU, we had to update manually over 10 OTA's. Now the real time connection simplifies and streamline our sales process.

Quick, clean, easy to use, doesnt fail, with software its the support thats important, what you get after you have taken the software on board, and for me account manager has been first class in helping me with everything.

Wish we could bulk edit individual items. Quite difficult to find a con for this particular product...

I can't work without it

Signed late October 2017 and disconnected in March 2018 preferring to lose the investment

Ease of use and asy dashboard, single subscription for (theoretically) many channels to be connected

Inconvénients

Very present in the sales phase of their product, totally absent support.
After six months of attempted "integration" I spent twice as much time trying to connect and control OTAs and VR.
Some OTAs are advertised as available for sale but after six months not yet active (see Tripadvisor)
I am still waiting, from the beginning of March, for an answer on the 10 points that led me to the decision to disconnect me (with a subscription paid and still valid until October), but to this day I have not received any reply.

Great program

I would recommend them to others since they have great customer services.

This was overall pretty easy to use and helped drive more traffic. I liked the layout of the platform.

Inconvénients

The cons that I found was that it needed some updating to flow a little more smooth. That is generally common with most products.

BEST CHANNEL MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

More exposure and booking for all our properties.

Avantages

- Rentals United makes it easy to integrate all of your listings across multiple platforms at a click of a button. They provide a large amount of channels to connect with.
- Our channel manager Vivian, and she is AMAZING. She has helped us expand our properties onto multiple channels and is always responsive. We have weekly chats and constant e-mails. It is a dream working with Vivian.

Inconvénients

- Some components of the website could be more user friendly.
- I need to write more to meet the minimum requirements, but there aren't any more negatives to add!

I couldn't ask for more

Avantages

This software is really easy to use, it's user friendly easy to understand once you get the hang of it. If you have a lot of properties to manage this is the site that is really best for you. It links to different channel but you can be able to manage it in one site, how cool is that .

Easy to work with

Avantages

I like to ability to see my rates and availability on the backend. I also like that I can change the fees and mark up at anytime.

Inconvénients

Updating certain channels can be challenging also I've had some issues getting fees pushed to channels.

i love is the Customer support, but the features/functionality & ease of use needs improvement...

Rentals United Channel

It has been very easy and good working with them. No problems to date and happy to recommend

Easy to use, friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff and account manager. Communication is excellent and people are on hand to guide through setting up.

Inconvénients

It's all very good and easy to use, it's just difficult to understand the flow of data between the different systems but that will come with time.

Very efficient support team

It pushes my listings to all the booking channels and collects all the reservation information to a central place. Makes my job easy.

Avantages

Support from Connectivity Team is a star! My 26 listings are live on Booking.com within days. Very happy with the service. I'm very happy with what Rentals United offers so far. It connects with the booking channels flawlessly, which makes my job a lot easier

Life gets easier!

Working with Rentals United, opened a door to another level of my business. Also important to mention that all the help received from the everybody on the phone has been super, they are all very kind and efficient.

High Volume Reservation Producing Company Approves!

We have 400 apartments and recently connected through Rentals United. In the first month of connectivity we had 1100 bookings come in and Rentals United Support team, account mangers and Senior level teams were incredibly responsive to resolve manual transactions and resolutions needed to be automated between the channel and PMS. The mapping of listings is painless and takes about 5 minutes to become live and bookable. Happy to refer this Channel Manager to anyone who inquires.

The ease of filtering bookings by any filter necessary to validate what is coming through to the PMS.

Many channels connections are not ready. Management is not transparent

We have being using RU for a year now and got not meaningfull results. My impression is that the main stream channels as Booking.com and Expedia work well. But many others RU simply does not have the connection as they say they have. The worse thing is that support and management team always says there is no issue. So you think you are connect but you actually are not. I had this same problem connecting to several different channels in their list as: Travel Republic, Tripavisor, Tourico Holidays and Hotelbeds,

Hi Rentals United team, in particular Romy and George, have been excellent to work with!

Easy to navigate, great customer support, and many channels with which to market/promote our properties.

Inconvénients

A few small but easily resolved glitches that we had to work through. Namely false positives regarding OTA's that we thought were completed and live, when in fact they were not.

Investment needed

The system is intuitive and easy to use. It is facile to connect a new channel and in case you have any doubt or problem, the customer service is always willing to help you. Their rate response is very quickly.
We experienced a rate connection problem with our PMS but this was solve very quickly once we realized. This also caused some connection problems with the channels we were connected with, but thanks to their efforts, everything was working properly promptly.
We are happy with this product as help us to sell easily our apartments in several platforms at the same time.

Finally a channel manager that works!!

More revenue from more bookings.

Avantages

Quick. Easy. Staff are very helpful and when you click "push to channels" it actually works! Almost instantly. Wish we'd come across Rentals United earlier.

Inconvénients

There really isn't anything bad to say other than the fact that the current API doesn't pull through everything from Escapia. A little manual work to be done per listing. But worth doing it for the results.

Perfect to sync to multi-channel

We are using RU for more than 6 months now and I am really happy, we had only a few bugs which were quickly fixed.
The support team is friendly and it really works well.
I like when a solution does the work without even thinking about it.
I recommend !

Avoid unless you want to have duplicate booking and inaccurate calendars.

If I could give this company zero stars I would.

This has to be the worst channel manger software ever. It is simply not fit for purpose. It fails miserably to protect from double bookings which is the whole point of it.

There staff are shockingly bad, well except the super sales person who persuaded us to sign up.

They blame everyone except themselves, one excuse after another.

We will be suing them... AVOID

Avantages

The software is not fit for service. It fails to sync correctly, an issue they are well aware of but they continue to sell this to innocent parties.

Inconvénients

The software should not be sold to anyone who needs calendars to be synchronised as it if not accurate.

Great account manager, Diana! Shes awesome

A unified booking channel is essential to get the exposure needed to drive occupancy.

Avantages

It gives you step by step directions on how to link. Some of the channels that I didn't expect to get bookings from are giving me the most business.

Inconvénients

Sometimes you have to contact booking channels directly to activate which takes a little more time. I'm not sure if I like the overall layout but it works for now.

Rentals United review

It has been great working with Rentals United and our onboard.

Avantages

It is very intuitive, and easy to use, and works very seamless.

Superb experience

I have been working with Rentals United for over 6 months now and have been extremely impressed with their support and service. Working with them has made a massive difference to my business, allowing me to work with more advertising channels whilst reducing my workload. My Rentals United account manager is absolutely outstanding with regards the level of support and speed of response time. She is worth her weight in gold! I can't praise her enough! Highly recommended.

Does not do what it says on the tin.

Avantages

It occasionally works as intended.

Inconvénients

The integrations are AWFUL and not as advertised . The customer support is RUDE and does NOT reply.

Horrible!! I would never chose them again!

Inconvénients

I wouldn't recommend! They have a bad service and their reply for everything is IT is looking it. Try to avoid Rentals United.

Straightforward CM with great support.

Connects to a lot of channels, easy to use, good support.

Avantages

It's very easy to use and does what it says on the tin. Connecting to channels is simple, but there is always support on hand if you get stuck.

Inconvénients

The system is very slow and there can be some discrepancies in information, depending on how you're viewing it.

Difficult to use

You can connect to a lot of channels it gives a page for direct reservation but it is difficult to use interface and all, they didn’t answer very quick and I had some troubles with overbooking.

Hard to manage it at the beginning but with a good support team that helps a lot!

Avantages

Customer support and the quantity of channels that you are able to be connected to.

Inconvénients

Sometimes appears that you are already connected to some cannel but then your properties are not advertised properly on it. A hard "fine tuning "work is required to the owners.

The software is really easy to use

Avantages

The software is really easy to use, the best way to manage properties on tourism portals. I was followed in every step by the assistance for the insertion.

Inconvénients

photo size is not optimal for booking.com. I think it's the only one thing to improve in the software

What a waste of time....

Avantages

supposed to be be very user-friendly and easy setup but that's the theory, reality is very different story

Inconvénients

it just doesn't work and the customer service is absolutely terrible, useless and in occasion even rude ...leading to huge waste of time....

Great Customer Service! Great System!

Avantages

Cust support has been incredibly helpful during the whole process. She made the software worth the purchase. There are a number of good systems but without a helpful, knowledgeable account manager its just so much harder.

Preliminary trial: need at least 5 properties for some Channels

At least 5 properties are required for some of the Channels, including important ones like the TripAdvisor/Flipkey Network and HomeAway. Shame I didn´t know that before I spent time on setting up my property.

Avantages

Pricing and the fact that it's a %, not fixed
Syncing features are 2-way for most but not all channels.

Inconvénients

You need 5 or more properties to be able to activate some Channel, including HomeAway and the TripAdvisor Network
