My orders have never been correct, and always 2-3 hours late. When I contact customer service they tell me I can’t cancel because the food was already ready. No redunds.

GrubHub was the first food delivery service I tried. The ease of ordering and the clear definition of what you get with each vendor was something I liked.

Inconvénients

I got a completely wrong order a couple of times. This is probably not the fault of the app, but of the kitchen staff or driver. However, GrubHub did work with me when I called customer service one of the times.

Love the ease of ordering food on the app! Great selection of restaurants, and the deliveries have always been on time for me.

I love how many options are available on GrubHub....especially in larger cities. I can easily order my lunch or send the menu to coworkers or clients to choose their meal options before I place an order. The site is easy to navigate and I can place an order...even complicated orders in less than 10 minutes.

As a person with Celiac...I like that I can look up restaurants by "gluten free" options.

Inconvénients

I wish all the restaurants that have gluten free options, would list them as many times I have to call in to make adjustments to my meal order which is a pain.

While GrubHub has decent prices compared to all the other food deliver services...the fees do deter me from using the service as often as we would like to at our office.

GrubHub is one of the best ideas that software companies have come up with. People are able to order at so many places using this software. Weather you need prescriptions picked up at Walgreen's or you need service at a food store. You just type o it in the search area and all the businesses relation to what you're in need of Will pop up. Its very easy to use. If at any point you in fact find you do need help they have that feature as well, live support. I recommend this to everyone.

I can honestly say with confidence, I've yet to find anything negative to say as of yet about their services.

I like most about GH is their service. GH+ is a fair price, food doesn't cost too much over normal price like uber eats, and the food is almost always on time.

GH+ stores of a franchise don't auto populate if they aren't the closest one to you.

From my personal experience with this online ordering software, I find it to be very efficient and convenient when it comes to finding the best places to eat near your location. One of my favorite features is that you have the option to either have your food delivered to your location or pick it up at the restaurant at a certain time. This features allows me to choose the most convenient time to pick up the food. Moreover, you have the option to preorder as well for the next day and this is very convenient when you have events at home with guests . One of my most used features is the "start group order" and it allows you to invite your friends to order together. This is a very unique features that most online ordering softwares have not implemented yet and it is indeed a very important one. This software is definitely my go to application when ordering online.

I have had a couple of issues with the software, however, the costumer service is very fast and efficient and always find a solution to the issue at hand. Maybe, one of the features that could be implemented is the tracking your order features with the pick up and drop off process to facilitate the experience. Other than that, this software is very sophisticated and efficient.

What I like most basically about this software is the ease of use and the compatibility with most devices and the fast ability to get food from a facility to a person or meeting or wherever quickly.

There are a lot of parts of the apps that I think that need improvement. I think the modifications portion of the app is very important. I think the menu portion from each restaurant or facility needs to be updated very frequently. The ability to make changes or substitutions and things like that are not user-friendly. Or they’re not even available.

GrubHub's mobile app is intuitive and easy to navigate, their customer service is top notch, and on a more granular level, the ability to search past orders differentiates GrubHub from its competitors. They are also incredibly communicative if an order you've placed requires cancellation, as they send out a text, email, and even call you to notify you. Their additional fees tend to be less than services like Postmates or DoorDash as well.

Inconvénients

GrubHub does seem to have a noticeably limited selection of restaurants compared to DoorDash or Postmates. This setback in and of itself may lead me to seek out an alternative food delivery app, considering the majority of its features are comparable, if not identical, to its competitors.

What I like the most about GrubHub is the customer service. They have a chatline that is filled with real people who are ready to help you with whatever issue you may be facing at that current moment. Another thing that I also like about GrubHub is that they were the first and only food delivery service to reach out to a platform (In Grubhub's case, Amazon with Amazon Prime for students) to tackle the convenience issue for students in regards to food delivery. They offer free delivery and promo codes with huge discounts for students that is so helpful and should continue.

What I do like least about GrubHub is the coverage, if that makes sense. Compared to UberEats and DoorDash where drivers are quickly responding to orders placed by customers. I have had to cancel and order and was close to canceling one until customer service found me a driver.

Grubhub offers a large selection of restaurants. Whether you want to eat Italian, American, Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, or Korean, you can order food through Grubhub. And Grubhub's coverage area is also very wide. I have not been to a city where Grubhub cannot be used.

Grubhub is really expensive. First of all, the price of each dish is a certain percentage higher than the price on the restaurant’s menu. Second, you need to pay service fees, shipping, and tips. The price of using Grubhub to order a meal may be 1.5 times that of a meal in a restaurant. Moreover, Grubhub does not support ordering dishes from multiple restaurants at once. Chowbus already supports one-time ordering of dishes from 5 or 6 nearby restaurants, but Grubhub can only order one.

Started using them more during the Pandemic.
Selection is great. You can easily find a place you know, as well as browse through selections.
Once you become a user you will receive the promotions quiet often. $5 off, 7$off, etc.
You can choose delivery or pickup.

I never encountered any issues. I heard someone complaint they do not recieve promotions, but as I mentioned, you only receive them if you order t least once a while.

Grubhub makes food ordering easy and straightforward for work and business events. I like the clean design of the platform and the easy order management and follow-up with support.

They have added a bunch of new charges and fees which add up with the order. The support has been a bit sketchy at times.

I had surgery in August 2020 and was unable to make dinner or have much use of my arms. A friend of my started a meal train for me and many of my out of town friends sent me Grub Hub gift cards. This was the first time I'd used Grub Hub, as I'm notoriously cheap and didn't want to pay the extra fees for delivery. I have to admit, I about became addicted! The app was super easy to use and had most of my favorite restaurants. It was so nice to have all of those choices at my fingertips, and to have delicious dinners just show up at my door like magic! Every driver did a fabulous job and we had no issues at all. Grub Hub was a lifesaver!

There were a few restaurants I wanted that weren't in the app, but I guess that is the restaurant's choice to participate. I do feel like the fees are too high to use the app too much, but when you are ill or truly can't make or get out to buy food it well worth the price you are paying.

I use this app, web version and mobile version, for ordering food & groceries. Very user friendly and well designed for easy navigation. It uses google map to locate the restaurants, map them and show the distances etc. Payment is very secure and maintains the history of the orders etc.

It expand its ability for next generation interactivity and end to end process should be more smooth and seamless. sometime moving back & forth makes the user little confusing and order need to start from the begining again.

I like the variety of restaurants that they have at your disposal, they have more places to choose from than some other food delivery apps

What I dislike is that they cut out the restaurants, they order your food as if they are YOU. So it’s not YOU ordering food it’s them pretending to be you and picking it up so that they don’t have to pay the restaurants a fee for using the service. I think this is especially bad for local places that aren’t chains. The restaurants don’t even know about this either because I’ve personally called several and told them what was going on.

The software is easy to use and create food pickup or delivery orders. It uses your location to show available restaurants in your area which is helpful because we don't always know about the places that open nearby.

Sometimes I don't feel like it has as many features or restaurants as other food delivery software but it has been improving in the past year.

That I can plan for events and order the menu items from GrubHub anytime before the event or luncheon. If an item is missing or the wrong item delivered, GrubHub quickly refunds you the cost of that item.

I like least that there is no place to enter a general message prior to sending the order to GrubHub. When ordering for a lot of people, there are inevitable changes and requests and it would be helpful to have a section to include that information.

I love the number of options it offers in my city. I can easily hop on the app and order food to my doorstep in minutes. Super convenient and easy to use, especially since the pandemic.

Sometimes I'm frustrated with the fees. Seem to be excessive sometimes. I've also had restaurants not available to me during normal business hours. Might be an error on the restaurant side of things and not Grubhub though.

The app provides a decent platform for food delivery and ordering services, with local restaurants. Dpending on the location of the store sometimes this plat form provides cheaper options than other mobile food delivery apps.

When I first downloaded the app it took a few tries for it to recognize and load the location to show possible options even with strong network bandwidth on my phone. The app however has more average layout and bit of a unclear navigation as to the distance or where your food is . The prices also sometimes goes higher for the delivery and services fees, doesn't seem to have a consistent price (this is not taking into account tips).

There is a lot to like about GrubHub, it allows access to lots of local restaurants for food delivery. The software is very user friendly. The menu feature that is able to display the options for the restaurants is very well displayed and easy to use. Overall the ease of the software is my favorite thing about it. The app on the phone is a great way to be able to order food when one doesn't feel like going out.

The worst part of the software is the fact that their is not a ton of options. Due to other rival apps such as doordash or ubereats the restaurants are divided, and not all options are on doordash. This can lead to me using other apps before I use GrubHub just due to the fact that the restaurant I want to eat from is not listed.

There is an option for a pick up for the food, which I don't have with my UberEats app.

I tried to use a giftcard given by my colleague, and it was very hard to use with phone app-eventually I needed to use my desk top PC.
Compared to UberEats, the phone app offers much more limited deals.

food prices are close to the actual store prices. It is easy to give a tip to your driver. Customer service is very good a resolving issues. There is a large variety of places to chose from.

sometimes there is a hard time finding drivers. A lot of times the food is cold or takes too long to be delivered. If a driver messes up an order you are not able to take your tip back.

Grubhub allowed us to send meals to people within our organization that were sick at home or were needing care during covid. It was easy to send gift cards for people to order or meals directly from their favorite restaurants to their doorstep. I also like that you can track the driver and notify the person when the meal has arrived.

Inconvénients

Sometimes we would encounter that someone couldn't pick up the meal and deliver it to the person if they lived outside a city area. Occasionally, we would have to submit the order twice for someone to pick it up.
