Great for Company Lunches
Avantages
We use this service to both coordinate a work/employee lunch, but also when having a vendor/trainer come in that provides a lunch for the group.
Inconvénients
Sometimes doing group orders and having someone else pay can get tricky.

GrubHub's Technology Lags That of Other Ordering and Delivery Services for Restaurant Owners
Of the ordering and delivery services we tried (GrubHub, UberEATS, DoorDash and Postmates) GrubHub cost us more per dollar of business that it generated, its system worked less well than the other ones (and wasted more of our time due to its sluggish app/tablet), and generated less revenue for us. We kept it because it delivered a small number of orders, and we didn't want to lose those.
Avantages
They were useful in that some customers want to order via GrubHub - perhaps because they have seen GrubHub's TV commercials, for example - and if you want to get these customers' orders, you have to sign up for GrubHub and have its tablet booted and sitting on your counter for the orders to come in.
Inconvénients
GrubHub generated far less business than DoorDash and UberEATS. However, that might reflect regional preferences (we are in Washington state). Orders did pick up on GrubHub when it launched its partnership with Amazon.GrubHub charges a percentage that was higher than the other ordering/delivery platforms. Also, when we started working with them, GrubHub charged an additional credit card processing fee above and beyond what it charges for ordering and delivery. So, you are told you will be charged, say, 30%, but then you find yourself paying an additional 3% for credit card processing. This compared to 28% and *no* credit card processing fee with DoorDash.GrubHub's system works less well than the other ordering and delivery platforms. Their app is slow to respond to commands, which becomes a big disadvantage when working at the counter of a busy restaurant - you need those fractional bits of time to attend to other priorities.GrubHub seemed to ignore the time we told their app that we could have an order ready to be picked up. We tell them it'll take a half hour, but the driver arrives in 10 minutes. This makes for a frustrated driver and it is unpleasant to tell them we don't have the order they are seeking.

If you don't have the monthly subscription, it can be kind of pricey for delivery and tip combined.

Avantages
Convenient way to get restaurant food. Wide variety of restaurants to choose from. App is easy to use.
Inconvénients
I can’t tell you how many times my order has been delivered to the wrong house. I even put the instructions to my home in the order. My address is plainly on my mailbox which is on the street and unobstructed. I even had a delivery man come to my home with my neighbors order and show me the address on his iPhone. It was the wrong address which he would have known if he looked at my mailbox

Great For Office Ordering
Avantages
GrubHub is very convenient in that we can order what we want online and send someone to pick it up or have it delivered. These options are highly convenient because we aren't always able leave the office. Sometimes it's a small order, sometimes it's a big order, but nonetheless it's highly useful and efficient. There are so many businesses that use this and it makes for great ordering decisions. We have been using this service for a while now, and it will be used in the future. They are always adding different businesses for us to choose from.
Inconvénients
Sometimes a company that we like to order from no longer chooses to be part of the GrubHub. We haven't had to reach out to customer service much, but the one time we did there was a long wait and we were transferred from person to person and it took a very long time to get to the correct person. Once we got with that person out situation was handled properly, but it was getting to that one person which proved to be a bit of a task.

Door Delivery made easy
Overall is very useful application in day to day life.
Avantages

Horrible Company
Horrible and I will never use them or refer them ever again

There are no pros to this company in my opinion
Inconvénients
If I could give them less than a star I would. I placed an order for lunch about 9is in the am. I get a message from them at 11:50am that my order was cancelled. No real explanation. I am at work and have no way of leaving, so I was left with no lunch. To make things even worse, they send me a $5 off coupon that has to be used today. This is only the second attempt at their service and both were horrible. First one my order was late and the driver explained to me that this happens if another order comes in before they get to me and if they are closer, they get their order before I get mine. I'm glad I'm on a free trial with Amazon (I will be letting Amazon know they are using a horrible company) otherwise I would have been even more upset. When I tried to order from somewhere else, it was well over an hour and past my lunch time. Thanks for ruining my lunch for me GrubHub. I will never use your service and for sure make sure I let everyone know how horrible your service is.

My Take on GrubHub
My overall experience is nice with using GrubHub to order food. Feels nice to use it alongside DoorDash and Uber Eats.
Avantages
I like using Grubhub for ordering food as delivery and takeaways. I enjoy getting the foods I wanted to order from and even get nice deals. I got a free year of GrubHub thanks to Amazon Prime Day days ago.
Inconvénients
What I wish that GrubHub can work on is at least have a heads up display for maps what car and what driver is it. I wish it's like on the same page as DoorDash and even for Uber Eats too.

GrubHub is Fantastic while traveling!
Fantastic experience with GrubHub! I use the program a lot while traveling for work.
Avantages
It is very easy to use, its tracker is very accurate, and I get a discount through Amazon Prime.

Great Service For An Extra Fee
Avantages
Grubhub is an amazing tool, allowing users to easily select from a huge variety of restaurants, all with complete menus, to craft a perfect meal to be picked up or delivered straight to your door! Orders are customizable, and can be tracked straight from your phone or computer, and you can even request contactless delivery where the driver will drop off the order at your door and ring your doorbell without a handoff, which was great at the peak of the pandemic!
Inconvénients
Grubhub is great for convenience, though it is certainly more expensive than ordering directly from restaurants. Since Grubhub charges service fees and will take a portion of sales, restaurants can sometimes raise prices of their items on the app, making the meal more expensive than if you were to just call the restaurant directly and pick up from them. If you’re looking for delivery, it can add on quite a bit more, but the convenience may be worth it.

My overall experience with GrubHub has been great. I love using the app whenever I would like food delivered to my door. There’s always so many different types of restaurants to choose from, and my food is always delivered to me very fast and efficient.
Avantages
GrubHub is an excellent online food ordering app. It helps save people time who have busy schedules, and it makes it really convenient for people who would prefer to have food delivered right to their door. I also love that there is a numerous amount of restaurants and food options to choose from. The customer service is always phenomenal, and I haven’t had any problems with this app. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
Inconvénients
The only thing I can think of is that sometimes it can be a little expensive, but I believe that depends on how much food you are ordering, and how high the demand is.

Grubhub review
It’s been an ok experience. I find the fees expensive and it is not the first app I go to for ordering online food.
Avantages
It gave me a chance to order what I wanted without leaving my house. Love this on rainy days or just lazy days.
Inconvénients
If they mess up your order there is not much you can do. You just have to make it work and can’t change the tip afterwards.

Great App, Though a Bit Slow
It has been great, their customer service is stellar and always quick/helpful, I just wish they would update items more and make the app a little bit more manageable in terms of speed.
Avantages
I love the amount of different restaurants that are nearby and listed, I loved being able to filter orders as well.
Inconvénients
It can be very slow to load, especially on the mobile version, and I don't often see any updates to menus when new items are added at different restaurants.

Almost always had problems with my order
Avantages
I liked the ease of ordering something online. There was a decent selection of places to choose from for food delivery.
Inconvénients
I almost always had a bad experience. The last few times I ordered, the order arrived much later than promised by the delivery service and the food was cold by the time I got it. I also had a lot of issues of the order not being correct. Customer service was difficult to deal with in addressing these issues, especially compared to other food delivery services.

Hot food at your door!
Overall, I like GrubHub and would recommend. It has def been helpful over the past year when I don’t feel like cooking.
Avantages
I like that there is a variety of restaurants that participate in this service. It’s easy to use to order food for delivery! And it’s super convenient especially since Covid.
Inconvénients
One thing I like least is the cost associated with the delivery. But I do enjoy that there are sometimes special promotions for low or no delivery fee for some restaurants. Sometime thats a driving force of where I’ll order food from.

Good app to order food. However, other competitors often have better deals and a better UI/platform which makes me want to switch

Inconvénients
The mobile app is not user-friendly, and is less 'smart' than contemporaries like Doordash. Delivery times are long. Incentives such as promo codes and coupons are not frequently offered.

I love that oh busy weeknights when I don’t have time to cook, and I’m crunched for time,
I can go on GrubHub and check who in my area can deliver . It will tell me the amount of time until delivery and the fee for delivery . Highly recommend it!

It is very convenient to order food online from various restaurants in my area . They will even allow me to see how long the wait time will be when ordering from that restaurant .
