I love how easy it is to maintain our inventory. Once we run out of something, we simply pull up quartzy, and it is already there in our inventory. When I hit 'request', quartzy has the lowest offer come up. great for savings!!

sometimes quartzy orders are slower than orders from VWR. however, only by a couple days.

Quartzy is very easy to use, effective as a chemical ordering tool, and good for inventory management. As free software, you can't beat the price.

The UI on the individual products listed is lacking a lot of the time. For instance, dimensions of certain plates, or sterility/non-sterility, is not always easy to find and often requires going directly to the seller's website to find the additional information.

I appreciated the approval proccess and the automatic linking to our university's marketplace. The presence of PO order and overall tracking of the purchasing and storing proccess helped a lot.

Quartzy is expanding its vendors and sourcing, and it is not like industry giant Sigma or VWR. What it does have, the pricing is better than either one of these two industry giant. I was told by the customer rep that if I could not find anything, I could contact them and they can negotiate it for me.

Quartzy makes ordering in small or large organizations very efficient and automatically updates your inventory. Allows me to make order from dozens of companies with a single login, without having to manage procurement at each individual vendor. Saves a tremendous amount of time and money.

The search functions are not the best. When looking for new products in the store, search results will pull up many products outside what I'm looking for, and not display the products I want unless I am extremely specific.

When an item is not available through quartzy adding it to a request is not straightforward. As far as I can tell there is nowhere for us to keep a list of "favorites" so if we reorder the same things often we don't have to dig through all of our purchases or search for them again.
