I like how it's a simple procurement management software that's for the most part free.

Sometimes there are glitches and I have to login/log back out to fix.

Being able to streamline ordering and inventory has made it much easier to ensure that we have what we need at all times.

The functionality is reasonably good. The inventory is good and useful to see if an item has been purchased previously. The Quartzy deals are sometimes good.

I find navigation of the software a bit difficult, especially that there are multiple search boxes with different purposes located in non-intuitive locations.

Quartzy has saved us so much money. I love this software. It is easy to search for the exact chemicals and lab supplies that you need across multiple websites and companies. And you know exactly how much you are saving versus having bought directly from the company. It keeps track of everything that you order in one place, tells you what has been received and what is on back order and when to expect it. We use this from everything from chemicals to lab coats to beakers to bottle brushes and rubber bands. They seriously have everything you could possibly need for your lab and all in one place at great prices!

Inconvénients

It would be nice if it could also be used to store SDS sheets.

It makes my job easier. It's customizable to our needs and makes the necessary information accessible. Also, the staff is extremely responsive, helpful, and friendly. And I get the impression it's a great place to work...

Inconvénients

I would like to be able to view and print order confirmations. That's the one piece (besides packing slips and invoices) that I don't consistently get, but need. Pulling the information from the order history creates an unformatted document and requires additional steps. This is the major inefficiency.

Quartzy is easy to use by all. Helps keep my laboratory organized and makes it easy to track and order products. It also has a feature to suggest vendors for products if you don't know where to buy from and will give you the best prices from vendors. :)

Quartzy is a great tool as it allows for collaborative work in your daily research needs. From inventory to ordering, everything can be conveniently performed on one platform.

A con is that the input of data and information can be tedious at times. Although this system allows for the mass input of data, it sometimes can be a cumbersome thing to do.

I like that it is easy to use for our lab group. Everyone can log in a request what they need and it is all organized by department.

I would like to be able to group into the same PO when there are different lab groups using the same PO.

My favorite feature of Quartzy is the ability to request products needed and track your order progress. If someone from your team needs a specific product they can simply request it and have the administrator order it. No need for lengthy emails.

I’m not a fan of the inventory layout. But it is very helpful to keep track of the products you have previously purchased.

It's helpful that Quartzy is able to find a product in their store for a lower price when a similar product is requested.

It would be helpful if when Quartzy is offering a similar product to what is being ordered they list any differences between the products as well

Zero Phone support, literally cannot get someone on the phone to help with account access. Have to send an email and wait. Really doesnt seem like they care very much about the end user of the software. Pretty disappointing to say the least

Quartzy is a very nice and kind lab manager. If someone in my lab want to buy a chemical or lab supplies, they just add list on the website so that other people can see what we need. Therefore, it can save our time and money as well by not buying the same products.

Inconvénients

I am involved in two different labs. It would be better if I can see both lists of two different labs in just one account. I don't want to make multiple accounts for each lab.

I love the fact that it is great to keep track of all orders, reordering, and sometimes you can get a discount if you order from them.

1. sometimes the order piled up too much and it is very hard to find the old orders. 2. Every time you search something, you HAVE to put down at least 3 characters.

I appreciate the ability to price compare and look up products within the site. I think the search engine does a decent job at finding what I am looking for.

Having to change the vendor in order to mark an item as ordered if it wasn't ordered through Quartzy is a pain. I would like that to be a lot easier. I also don't like that when I click on a item to send me to the link it sometimes changes the link that the employee sent me and it sends me somewhere else.

The most prominent search bar is always shop instead of being whatever tab your under (like supply, order, etc). Adding orders from outside the quartzy shopping eco system is clunky. Items ordered through quartzy often have broken links for reorders.

I can find just about all of the things I need to order for my team. The request approval process is seemless as well so our finance department can easily keep track of our spending.

I think adding multiple different items to one PO can be challenging at times. Once one item has been requested, it seems like to add another item, you need to know the specific catalog number because the search by keyword isn't always inclusive of all search results.

The Quartzy team has really focused on providing great customer support. They are very responsive and communicate at a great level about orders and any issues that arise. It's awesome to have most of our purchases in a centralized location and be able to compare prices. We are routinely finding equivalent products for 30+% less than the big wholesalers like fisher and VWR

Not all vendors are part of the network. Searching for new products is good but could be improved to show more details about for comparison

It is much nicer to order all my products from one source. The discounts on supplies received through Quartzy are otherwise unmatched.

I do not like how long things take to ship and that the shipping information is often incorrect. It would often be a lot quicker for me to just order from the manufacturer, but cheaper through Quartzy.
