SalesLoft, the personal assistant I can actually afford.

I've loved SalesLoft from the moment we started using it. Initially, I was taking over some duties for a member of our team on maternity leave. Her outreach is wide and system complex and I don't say this lightly when I say that SalesLoft is one of the only reasons I was able to step in for her. Her position is unique and SalesLoft allowed me to keep up our daily correspondence with leads in a way I could not have on my own. After this experience, I insisted on setting up an account for myself. We built out a new position for Inbound sales and have seen some incredible results--enough to hire on another inside sales specialist and begin scaling. This was possible partially to SalesLoft's integration into my job--allowing me to stay on top of leads and giving me rich insights. Our new Inside Sales Specialist was blown away when I trained him on SalesLoft--he mentions to me daily how thankful he is to have it. As we continue to scale our inside team, I only see our partnership and dependency on SalesLoft's capabilities growing.

Inconvénients

It doesn't integrate with HubSpot, only SalesForce. Completely understandable but detracts a bit from the capabilities.

Salesloft great for tracking engagement

Great tool have tried a few others and this is by far my favourite

Avantages

The ability to create cadences and track opens and views in real time via the live feed feature it has

Inconvénients

The limited ability to create rules on cadence engagement (there are only 4/5 selections) would like more ability to customize according to my companies needs

Avantages

The possibility to create cadences is really useful to me (and in general for any sales company)

Inconvénients

In order to create cadences you must import all contact from another platform (Salesforce in my case) and this is a long process

Our Team Uses it Everyday

Overall experience has been great. We have only had one issue in the past two years of using it where a feature was broken for more than a few hours and the team kept constant communication with us during that time

Avantages

This is great for beginner BDRs who are reaching out to multiple people a day! It helps them keep organized and we love the response rate feature and the a/b testing feature because that helps us determine what emails are most likely able to get a good response.

Inconvénients

I dont like that you can't tell directly whether an email template has a good or bad response rate. It would be awesome if as soon as the sales person opened the email in Gmail if a button popped up and let them answer whether the response was a success or not! besides that we love everything about salesloft

Salesloft für Salesmaschinen!

Avantages

Salesloft hat alles was man für den Kundenkontakt braucht. Besonders die Cadence Funktion ist perfekt und lässt eine ordentliche und sequenzierte Arbeitsweise zu.

Inconvénients

Es gibt nichts was fehlt. Keine negativen Punkte

Great UI but the functionality is a little clunky

Overall the experience is positive. I can do everything I need with the tool, it is more attractive than others I've used which is nice when you're using it all day, and the tracking is great. If they refined just a few more aspects of it then it would be head and shoulders above the competition.

Avantages

Salesloft has a slick UI, better than a competing product I've used which in comparison looks very dated. The email tracking and auto-logging of emails is really nice, I think the tracking aspect of it or at least how notifications are presented is better than other platforms that I've used.

Inconvénients

Setting up cadences isn't as smooth as it could be. How you manage upcoming tasks in Salesloft itself is pretty clunky. You have to go to each cadence individually to go through the "due" tasks and I don't like how each task is brought up. The task manager is the part of the platform I like the least.

Used in many capacities, mostly for campaigns with customers in outside sales.

Avantages

The software is easy to use, and once you get a hang of it you can really speed up communication with customers. My favorite part is you can see the analytics and see who is opening/seen emails, etc.

Inconvénients

I wish there was an easier way to set up templates, as well as create recurring templates. Other than that very great!

Great Product

Overall, this product makes my book of sales pretty manageable.

Avantages

I like the cadence options, email template functions, and how the dashboard is set up.

Inconvénients

I don't like how I can't put a time of day to call someone back-with sales territories stretched out across 3 time zones, it's a challenge.

Helped us ramp up output

Avantages

- It helps you customize messages but send out a lot more. With templates and cadences and dynamic text such as [name] it makes sending out personalized emails very fast

Inconvénients

- There were some glitches but the customer service team was very quick to respond and start working on them. It did increase output but of course has to be monitored and enforced otherwise the sales team starts getting a backlog of these "to dos" and emails to be sent and calls to be made.

Has made my life a lot easier

Avantages

The interface is very intuitive and I love how the dialer is integrated into the lead page.

Inconvénients

Call quality is inconsistent. Especially with International calling. A few things could be improved. For example, when modifying a lead, you have to open a whole new window no matter what the change is. When you have logged info and want to see that (phone numbers/emails/etc) you have to go back and forward from edit window to non. Wish you could edit fields while staying on same page.

Also, still lacking texting functionality which has become a vital part of the sales process. We are still paying for Truly solely to be able to text people.

A beautifully designed software that makes the sdr's job very enjoyable

Although somewhat pricey, the set of features and the user experience it provides is fantastic. It makes the SDRs job very easy.
It integrates really well with sales coaching tools like ExecVision, which makes the combination of SalesLoft and Execvision a brilliant combo.
Overall the software is very user friendly and delivers on its promises

Avantages

The UI is beautiful.
The User experience is very smooth.
The software is very clean, carefully designed with the sdr in mind, and bug free for the most part.
Placing calls is a very smooth and ridiculously easy experience.

Inconvénients

Two things.
The software doesn't allow an SDR to update the Call Disposition and Sentiment after a call is logged.
Which makes it inconvenient. There is no way to change or update these two fields even if they are logged by mistake.
There is no easy way to add opportunity price point etc.

When it works...it's great

Avantages

ability to create long cadences of touch points and semi-automate the process means countless hours are saved. you can easily see your status of each cadence and the activity is seamlessly synced with Salesforce.

Inconvénients

Had massive issues syncing with my company's Outlook. For nearly 3 months we could not send emails as they would not sync. Took far too long and threats by upper management to drop the product if a resolution was not worked out. Also, don't use the "local dialer" feature. We had people tell us they were getting calls from that number and had told them not to call, but it was our first time calling into them. The local dialer may have it's benefits but be ware how overly used this has become by telemarketers and poeple are becoming more and more aware of this.

The only sales tool I use every day

It's amazing! I can listen to teammates and hear their calls live, find when my best time to call is, and monitor my email effectiveness. I also love that cadences take the work out of everything followup related

Avantages

I love that it puts all the sales info in one pane. All the phone, email, and linkedin SalesNav stuff can be handled in one window.

Inconvénients

The new UI for cadences in the right panel. I preferred the old way of listing calls, emails, etc in the right cadence column.

Use Salesloft daily, keeping me organized

Avantages

I essentially work out of Salesloft everyday, it's integral to my workflow. The best parts are the cadences and so much visibility into prospects view/ open rates, as well as integrations with Salesforce + LinkedIn.

Inconvénients

Like I said, Salesloft is the #1 tool throughout the day, so when the dialer is down or the pages aren't loading up, I'm essentially finished with work until it's back up. I wish support was more helpful.

Great software

This is a game changer for any sales team. No more sticky notes or manual reminders to reach out to prospects.

Inconvénients

It can be a bit clunky. Not being able to edit cadences while people are in them has arisen as an issue.

Really innovative way to stay on top of your prospects and hit sales targets

Being able to follow up and stay on top of sales prospects without disrupting my sales flow.

Avantages

I love how clean it LOOKS. That makes it a lot easier to use. I also love the sync to my Gmail, making it a clean transition from salesforce inbox- which I hated!

Inconvénients

I am still trying to understand how to use Cadences correctly. I think the more I get into the swing of all of the features and functionality this will come easier going forward.

A great way to optimize your sales outreach

Avantages

Extremely hands off, effective outreach that allows you to maximize output and log information on salesforce with a click of a button. I do like the workflow they have established. I can crank through 100's of calls a day if needed, increase volume of conversations.

Inconvénients

Saleloft freezes often, and their internal dialer messes up ALL the time especially when you use a dial by name directory. It gets frustrating that their service also goes down or at least slows down 2 every two weeks.

All in one, consolidate your sales and marketing tech stack.

Implementation was great, their integration with Salesforce made things a piece of cake.

Avantages

We were able to cut out 3 different softwares and replaced them with one, Salesloft. They have made it simple from a marketing and sales automation standpoint to bring everything into one, centralized location. It integrates well with Salesforce. The team can make calls, start sequences, and follow up with prospects all from Salesloft, it is great.

Inconvénients

It came out to be a bit more expensive than the 3 softwares it replaced (combined), but worth paying a bit of a premium.

I was just a user in a company, but was not a big fan

Avantages

I liked the segmentation of emails lists
The ability to see when someone opens your email, that was great (i.e. the analytics)

Inconvénients

Phone calling was a problem the entire time, with quality issues
Syncing with SalesForce was good when I send something from SalesLoft, but if I want to see past notes before sending something new I always have to see my notes in SalesForce so it became tedious

Effective Prospecting Tool!

Avantages

SalesLoft was an incredible tool for prospecting! I really liked the features and functionality when it came to tracking call notes, setting up tasks, and recording calls.

Inconvénients

Since using SalesLoft I've tried other tools and my only compliant was not being able to send automated emails. If this was available (at least at the time of use) this would have really helped with the prospecting.

Really good tool overall

Overall I enjoy the tool and get a good amount of value!

Avantages

The basics of the tool are great. It’s pretty easy to setup templates and send dynamic emails to a large group of contacts. You’re also able to track views and when contacts click links in your messages.

Inconvénients

From my experience there was quite a high bounce rate. I also believe it could be a bit simpler to create and add steps to cadences.

Functional, but dated design

Avantages

It works at the end of the day for managing daily tasks for someone working in Inside Sales. Cadence's are pretty easy to set up and reports are clear and concise.

Inconvénients

Very dates UX design. Sometimes feels like you are using software from the 2000s. Not always easy to fine features you need.

A good sales engagement platform for most orgs

Avantages

The simplistic, streamlined workflow it provides sales reps is probably its strongest feature.

Inconvénients

For our organization, it's automation rules didn't provide enough fine-tuned functionality, so we had to rely on the automation functionality of other, connected programs to compensate. It's reporting features also don't provide the level of granularity we needed.

Great for managing how often you're touching base with prospects

I can put prospects in Salesloft, set a time for these prospects to be emailed by me, and walk away. It handles all of the work for sending clients emails and lets you know when it's time to call them.

Avantages

I love how easy it is to import prospects and how easy it is to sort those prospects to determine when they're contacted by you.

Inconvénients

Sometimes it can show you prospect engagement inaccurately.

I was a cold caller and used this to effectively make dials

Effective cold calling, lots of touch points.

Avantages

I like how it enables you to make cold calls very fast. Minimal effort has to be made to make calls quickly and the cadences helped me get a lot of touch points.

Inconvénients

About one a week it would crash and not work for a few minutes. Also I was there was more customization options around dispositions/sentiments.

A great sales tool!

The benefits have been great and it is great to track and see who has opened and clicked my emails I have sent out.

Avantages

Sales loft is by far my favorite sales tool. It is easy to use and the support is great! They are so quick and have helped me tremendously.

Inconvénients

Sometimes when I load a lot of contacts into a cadence it does take quite a while for all of them to process.

Great for BDR/SDR productivity

SalesLoft has been used by our SDR team to use templates created by the marketing team.

Avantages

SalesLoft makes it very easy for BDR/SDR teams to manage leads and nurtures with pre-approved templates and processes. The recording function is also very helpful for training purposes.

Inconvénients

The reporting and analytics functions leave much to be desired. It is very difficult to glean insights from the email templates and cadences. Additionally, there are consistent product issues that can cause disruptions to our team's workflows - such as calls dropping.

Organized and efficient

Maximize sales outreach and efficiency with little to no effort. You can book a lot of meetings and book them quite frequently.

Easy to use

Avantages

A Sales Reps Dream Come True

I am finding myself constantly finding new ways to build and improve custom cadences to expand my use for categorizing leads into different paths, I am looking forward to the future of building semi automatic cadences to exponentially increase lead generation and closing deals.

Avantages

I am quite new to using CRM software like Salesloft and it has absolutely amazing for all-in-one lead generation through building and navigating it's cadence systems to it's outband through all the main communication and networking channels with built in integration with multiple platforms.

Inconvénients

Some minor problems and integration flaws.

Text formatting is low end compared to microsoft so moving signature tables into salesloft is not seamless and quite limited creating messy formatting.

The VOIP calling regularly gets lagged and distorted needing to regularly close and reopen the browser. Been some problems dialing out to Philippines like after 1 min the call starts to loop.

Exporting and importing from the same list has caused some weird glitches like changing the do not contact status on an entire list that was not set.

Sales loft is great I could not do my sales job without it.

Avantages

SalesLoft makes my position as a sales representative much easier. I am able to put all of my prospects from salesforce into a specific cadence with specific email, phone and social media steps.

Inconvénients

Best sales tool I have used since SalesForce

Better connect ratio, better meetings setup

Avantages

Everything. Voicemail drop, email tracking, template ease of use, marketting campaigns. Everything. It turns a good sales person into a smart good sales person

Inconvénients

Only complaint, is it tracks your own clicks on the email. But it says the city, so its not horrible..

Great tool to manage outbound cadences

managing the outbound cadence of the sales organization.

Avantages

There are some great features. Know when someone opened and email and when they clicked. You'll also know where the were geographically. Calling from a local area code is also great.

Inconvénients

There has been occasional down time, which really hurts productivity on outbound.

Solid tool for sales.

Avantages

I really enjoy how easy salesloft is to use. Great UI, day one anyone can figure out how to navigate SL. Love the ability to track email views.

Inconvénients

search function is slow and sometimes inaccurate. Way too often audio cuts out, calls drop, can't dial or long delayed ring.

Old Dog, Learning New Tricks

My overall experience has been a learning one, coming from a CRM such as HubSpot which I have like several years of usage. But now that I have been using it

I do like the ease of use and I am getting used to it, as well I have looked at other learning tools, (i.e: Youtube)

Inconvénients

Just took me some time to get used to a brand new platform, and sometimes there are glitches that happen.

Salesloft

My experience was.is awesome as I have been using it but am still learning to use it to its full capability.

Avantages

Salesloft was great for tracking all sales activities, such as calls and emails and cadences. It was a great account management tool.

Inconvénients

The tool is great but it takes a while to learn to properly use all of its capacity as it has so many different facets to it to use for the sales process from start to finish.

SalesLoft vs Outreach. Tough Decision.

Avantages

I like that there are quick links to the SF pages and that it speak with SF. It is niece to be able to call out of SF using SL.

Inconvénients

I do not like that not all call activity is saved to contacts at times. If someone is removed from a specific cadence and then added to another one, call activity does not always transfer over. This tool is not made for call heavy organizations. Even though, I am in a lower required call volume role, I still find myself calling heavy and SL has its limitations. Template emails get wonky in the body of the emails when trying to add in personal statements in one-off scenarios.

Very good platform for sales and keeping yourself organized

Avantages

The Cadences and ease of use of the platform. I know what each step I need to do each day is and what exactly I need to do

Inconvénients

Not being able to choose the variants that you send out while in your cadences. It chooses them at random, which I wish was an option.

Eases communication, and holds records in one place

Avantages

I like the fact that all email communication can be turned to cadences, and we can move away from antiquated email templates. I'm a big fan of the dashboard, that shows what calls, emails or tasks are due each day.

Inconvénients

The only thing I wish was different is the navigation, sometimes it requires a few too many clicks to get to cadences or schedule an email send.

This software is so powerful for making calls, emails, and keeping track of day to day.

Inconvénients

Sometimes there can be issues with the dialer glitching or the synchronization with other platforms glitching, but it's rare.

Overall I think that Salesloft is a great product.

Avantages

I like how it allows me to keep track of how often people open my emails.

Inconvénients

Sometimes I run into issues when it comes to importing from Salesforce, but I'm not sure if the issue is on their end or not.

Perfect for account management

It has been a really great experience. It has made connecting with clients quicker and easier but still providing major account info needed for account manager.

Avantages

I love how easy it is to see past communications and note on a clients account. You can also quickly and easily give the client a ring or send them a text or email.

Inconvénients

I wish you could easily see all points of contacts under one account instead of only viewing 1 point of contact at a time. I also love that you can create email cadences!

More closed deals in less time. Easier to track the sales team's activity on a daily basis and coach individual performance.

Avantages

Absolutely love the integration with Salesforce. If your company uses Salesforce, this tool will take your team to the next level. Tracking the process from lead to closed business is so simple and easy to coach to. Also loved the consultative approach their team took with us. They have suggested many tools outside of their own software to help us fill gaps in our Sales Process.

Inconvénients

Don't expect this to be a plug-and-play solution. Not because it's complicated, but because it will take some training and you will have to get your sales team bought in to following a new process. If you are willing to invest the time and training energy, it will be great though.
