The antivirus software met my expectations in run time performance and ability to quickly scan and track viruses and malware. It is free to use if you download the free version but you have to pay to use extra perks.

It could not detect more complex malware attacks so I had to use another anti virus software to clean my computer.

offers a safe browsing in internet and secure file transfer among other protection. I can open emails or open files from usb and/or download files from the internet safe since AVG will protect me from downloading virus.

sometimes it takes time to boot the computer but is only one time a day, so not a big deal. The other cons is that depending on the file size it takes time to scan it but again is not a big deal.

It's a feature rich security system and has been able to detect most of things that may be harmful to our computers. Really easy to use as well and has probably all the basic features you need.

Sometimes, it runs in the background and gets your computer really slow that you'd have to turn it off. Also, it blocks some necessary connections for softwares sometimes so you'd have to turn it off if you want to use those softwares.

AVG has a great reputation and we were really satisfied with the security provided. We felt safe from viruses malware and so on. The software runs without any issues and minimal to no downtime. One of the few software products that did not cause issues with out finicky database.

It is not so much that there is something bad about the software. We just found that Avast works better for us as it uses much less resources. AVG slows things down a bit but most of these products do. It is the price of being safe in a dangerous world.

I used AVG free for a long time and the business version, is one of the better priced security options out there. There is an option to allow AVG to allow the program to run but this seems to be done manually.
