C'est un logiciel très pratique pour les débutants de la comptabilité, ça permet de mieux appliquer la théorie sur la Comptabilité Aussi bien analytique que de gestion.

Inconvénients

Assez complexe pour les débutants
Et les coûts sont généralement élevé pour profiter des fonctionnalités avancées. Sans oublier que c'est vraiment limité

Inconvénients

Le prix est un peu plus élevé par rapport aux alternatives. Bien que le prix premium soit justifié par le produit de sage, je pense qu'il n'est toujours pas accessible aux entreprises en démarrage. Peut-être qu'un plan spécifique axé sur les start-up offrant uniquement des fonctionnalités limitées que les start-up utilisent au quotidien serait fantastique.

Très lent lorsque nous tentons de l’utiliser. Aucun moyen de faire un paiement a même la facture.

Avantages

We like that it is intuitive and has a specific accounting module for us as a charity - fund accounting and gift aid functionality.

Inconvénients

We have a problem at every year end (last 5 years) when rolling the balances forward on the restricted funds (new opening balances on Balance Sheet). They are always incorrect, causing our opening balance sheet to be wrong (balances of unrestricted funds and restricted funds) and we have to manually adjust them - something our Auditors are not keen on and we have to get additional checks done in order for our accounts to be signed off. This has been looked at several times but SAGE support, and our data submitted to them for review, but they cannot resolve for us. Very frustrating and a huge admin task for us at year end when we are already busy.

I am trying to learn the system and it is somewhat intuitive.

Cannot find the name of my product on any of my subscriptions etc. Its taken lots of trial and error comparing online videos to finally find it.... Sage Business Cloud. The help feature is awful and lacks any substance. Considering dumping the whole thing after an horrendous experience over 2 month application with VOPAY. Several pay periods it was confirmed set up, but indeed it never was leaving me scrambling every two weeks for alternatives. Finally after months of back and forth, they denied the account (after it shows as confirmed in my account). Awful.

Avantages

Excellent software, lots of options that you can do on it which is completely the opposite to MYOB per example. It integrates with all other softwares including expense claim management systems, payroll systems etc… Easy to use, easy to manage, easy to run reports from it. Staff have been mentioning also that it’s not a slow system. They seem to have a great server which makes a big difference on the daily basis usage.

Inconvénients

A big pricey but I guess you have to pay the right price when it comes to accounting software!

The product is has a country version specific to Ireland. The payroll and accounting are linked.

Inconvénients

Editing after payments is not allowed and when reconciling, if a payment for the next month is reconciled, you can’t roll back to the end of the last month to do a reconciliation to follow your printed monthly bank statements, and the bank column shows transactions but no balance column.

Useability for the employees when they set them up.

The limits on the send out of new forms. It takes time when having to take the person off the system and back again when they do not activate their payslip link.

Forms have the look needed for a small business to “look” good, larger than we might actually be and the forms can be easily modified to be branded.

The software does not interface easily with email software, particularly Office 365.

For someone that has never used accounting software before, I was up and running within 30 minutes and had my first invoice wnging its merry way to teh client to be paid. With very helpful customer service checking in on me in the initial period, I was able to get the rest of the package set up quite easily, including being able to do my VAT returns easily. Great software that does everything that a small business needs!

Inconvénients

To be honest, y grumbles have been few and minor. The big things it does well, but sometimes I just confused by the numbers it displays but that is more often than not finger trouble in displaying sort orders of the date column.

It is easy to set up and use. Because it is an online system it can be accessed anywhere anytime.

They do have some issues with slow or degradation but have been working on this. Also billing department is not easy to contact so have had issues there

Sage is a great accounting software for a company's accounting needs. It covers every aspect of ones business, from invoicing, to AP, to AR, inventory, and the end result of a businesses operations - the financial report.

So far I like Sage and what it has to offer! No complaints as of yet. It works for us and our needs.

Sage, for me, is missing automatic chasing of overdue invoicing like you can do with other software for the same purpose. Unfortunately, it’s this element that is missing which is making me consider one of the other software available until safe catches up and introduces this feature. I also think it’s missing an easy way to put a part payment against an invoice unless I just haven’t figured it out yet

I really like the reporting function and the ability to be intuitive in creating my chart of accounts and general ledger inputting. I like to do things by monthly date and the program allowed me to do that.

very pricey for our needs. If you are a larger firm it is worth it but we are smaller and was difficult to justify the high cost.
