-Quality of postings depend on the recruiter and company posting them. Some are missing information or do not display nicely on mobile.

Zip Recruiter is a great recruitment source for finding the candidates in high quantities that are not the run of the mill Indeed applicants.

Inconvénients

Sponsoring posts can become expensive, but I believe that it is still cheaper than Indeed's pay-per-click.

This software was extremely useful, since lots of employers use it, and it comes with a mobile app that allows you to keep tabs on jobs while on the go.

Inconvénients

The automated emails letting you know about jobs in your area, always seemed to include jobs outside my area. Aside from the notifications, the software is pretty handy.

I like the suggestions, I like to know if they think I'm a good fit I can go directly to that job. I like the ease of applying to jobs with one click

Nothing that I can think of, maybe the area should be better I put I want to find jobs in a certain area and I get stuff really far.

I can't think of anything that sets out, as far as what I liked. The only thing I can say is that you were sent emails on a regular basis, every day and several times a day.

Most of the emails for jobs were not of interest or applied for on their website. None of the jobs sent ever materialized in any interviews. Duplicate emails sent on same job openings.

The feature I like best about ZipRercruiter is that you can change your parameters for a specific job search on the fly. Basically tailor your job search based o your current desires .

At times there are email push outs that do not have the types of jobs you feel qualified for not often.

Sometimes you can find a good applicant but like the companies, most are spam. It is very rare that I find a good candidate for the position.

Most applicants and companies are spam. Some of the data also seems fabricated. When comparing the data to other sites, the data is way off.

It;s easy to use. You can dismiss jobs that do not match what your looking for. You can narrow down what type of job you are looking for by title and location. You can look at different jobs in different states . It makes suggestions on job you might be interested in based on what you applied for in the past.

Inconvénients

I wish it was easier to tell the system some of the more technical things such as for me. I have been a Director of Healthcare but I am not a nurse so I can apply for jobs that require an RN. The system can not tell the difference between the same job title but different requirements.

It's fairly easy to get set up on the platform and start applying for jobs. I feel like it's turning into a sea of tech jobs, so it feels good to see that ZR is onboarding many companies on the platform.

I'm only used ZipRecruiter from a consumer standpoint, but it seems that most jobs posted miss the mark on what companies are actually hiring for. Very rarely will the description match what the company is actually hiring for.

The pros of this software would be the fact that it finds the jobs for you. It also alters the type of jobs it sends based off your search criteria. This is very helpful if you are busy and don't have alot of time for search. They also have a great feature that lets you do a quick submit of your application.

Inconvénients

Sometimes the criteria it sends isn't always relevant to the job your trying to find. It can be annoying at times. It also does not tell you if the application is being sent direct to the comyor through a 3rd party.

ZipRecruiter is easy to use and easy to manage my applicant pool to schedule phone and in person interviews. I was able to hire three amazing high-quality candidates from ZipRecruiter a couple years back, and now that I am on the job hunt myself, I am excited to use ZipRecruiter as an applicant. I know I will find the perfect job!

I did not find anything about ZipRecruiter that was difficult. Very simple and intuitive platform.

HR representatives from companies I applied to eventually reached out to me, but not in a timely matter at all- usually 4 months after the application was sent in by which time I had moved on to something else. Not sure if this is a ZipRecruiter problem or an HR problem

I love that this is so easy to use. This sties offer more options for one click applications. I am able to fill in my experience and information and apply for a job effortlessly. The more I apply, the better matches I am provided. My resume has already been reviewed by 3 employers today alone! They provide up to date information on jobs and if my application has been reviewed. They also let me know of any updates from HR Management.

I LOVE "One Click Apply". I've been searching for a new job and it's SO simple to upload all of your info and your resume and just be able to "click" the button after you've read through the description and know that you want to apply. One night I applied for over 30 jobs in less than an hour.

I do wish that you could narrow the search down a bit more and that they'd filter some of the jobs more thoroughly. There have been TONS of jobs I've been contacted for that ended up being sales jobs, despite me NOT searching for, wanting or being willing to work a sales job. Some of the job descriptions are very vague and don't mention sales AT ALL, when they're actually very much sales jobs. It's a waste of time not only for me but for the employers who are contacting me.

I love the ease of opening your account. It ask you for previous job history , if you would like to upload a resume. You can always do it later, but if you upload a resume it automatically fills up your profile with your skills, previous job history, etc. It makes filling out applications applications actions easy

The only thing I didnt like was that no one let you know if your application was submitted and viewed. I would have like to know that the places I applied got my application.

It's great to be able to find a job and filter out the ones that you don't want. It's great that I am able to put in whatever I want and it helps me find the jobs in my area.

I don't like how it seems to kinda "Mix" the jobs together. You can put something in like Computer Specialist and it'll throw in alot of jobs that are seemingly a match but don't really fit. I'm looking for something in say, IT, and it starts giving me specialist jobs from all over the place like being an autobody specialist when I didn't ask for anything close to that.

When I graduated college, I had the struggle everyone does. I applied to job after job on sites and wasn’t getting calls and if I was, it turns out the job was door to door sales. Having a journalism degree made it pretty tough. Finally a downloaded ZipRecruiter and right away, I saw a super vague job posting. “Requesting journalism or English degree with 2+ years in customer service” that was me! I was worried it would be another door to door sales position but I applied anyways. 2 minutes later I got an email followed by a call for this job. Now 2 years later im still at this job. I still browse occasionally to see if I see anything interesting but ZipRecruiter helped me find my career

This is a great software to get candidate applications. We update our job postings regularly and go through the candidate pool on a daily basis. I am a fan of the custom ability of the package to allow for more/less job postings and resume views.

Inconvénients

The "Great Match" feature is usually quite off the mark for the correct candidate for a posting. Maybe it's the nature of detail in our job postings.

Ziprecruiter has a quite a few features that are on other sites but what make ZR better is the way it is laid out. The site is very easy to use and easy on the eyes when analyizing what is going on.

In addition their auto update make it easy to see what is available from your phone.

They also let you know the status of your application.

Inconvénients

Unfortunately ZR does not filter offer from employers based on language. I live in Miami and receive lots of offers but have to turn them down because I am not bilingual.

They need a language filter and location filter. I sometimes get offers that are in the next county.

My biggest gripe with Zip recruiter was that it wasn't properly monitored. The owners didn't do enough to vet potential employers or employees and so the system was fraught with fraudsters looking to defraud unsuspecting job-seekers.

I liked the ease of use. You got emails every morning with new job postings you could search through and then apply in just one click.

I really like Search filters available in ZipRecruiter. It really helps you focus in on ideal candidates. I also like the way you can attach "tags" to the prospect to help identify them later.

The only issue I have is that the templates aren't necessarily helpful and I wish if there were better UX designs to it.

We got multiple unqualified candidates which made us quite frustrated about the whole process and wish we had gotten better qualified candidates which are vetted.

The interface is pretty easy to use and is nice to look at. I really liked the deal breaker questions, it made it easy to get through applicants quickly - it's a really nice feature.
I didn't get a chance to use all of the features, but they have a ton of them! They also allow you to pause your account for a smaller monthly fee, which was a neat thing to see.

It's quite expensive. And many of the options aren't included in the base monthly fee, you have to add them on top of the pricey monthly cost.
We had a lot of applicants apply, but a lot of them were terrible. I'm not sure if this I could've gotten rid of them by increasing my questions at the beginning, but it seemed some of them shouldn't have gotten through.

I liked that it was able to post my job posting like it should. There was nothing really special about it but I gave it a 5 because I was able to recruit people easily, that's it.

I believe it should be free. This site is just like Indeed and should be free. I did not like that I would get things in the mail with a code to post free and there as no where to redeem it on the site or no instructions in the mail.

The thing I liked most about ZipRecruiter was the fact that you would get instantly matched with possible hires. It was a nice and helpful feature, especially when looking for employees on the spot.

I never received very good customer support from ZipRecruiter. I found their service to be more of a frustration rather than being a helpful platform, while some features should be included for the most generic free user rather than being paid for.

1) Popularity/Goodwill: ZipRecruiter has become quite popular in the HR industry. As a result of the growth of its popularity, the candidate pool is very large. This makes it very easy to shortlist the right candidates, based on your criteria.

2) Track your Candidate: ZipRecruiter makes it possible to rate candidates across three levels (A Thumbs-up option which is 'great', an option to express a neutral judgment and a Thumbs-down option which is, well... 'not so great') In addition to this, the platform lets you add notes to a candidates' profile.

3) Filter your Candidates: ZipRecruiter makes it possible to filter your candidates based on keywords pertaining to Designations, etc and also lets you filter these results based on the location of the candidates and even how far the candidates live from your current location.

4) Customer Assistance: ZipRecruiters' account managers are dedicated and are available to assist you instantly.

1) Not suitable for small businesses: ZipRecruiters' "Starter" pricing model seems a bit too exorbitant for start-ups and budding companies.

They make it very easy to setup a profile and apply for various jobs. They also do a really good job at proactively sending you updates on new openings in your area and recommendations. One really cool thing they do is let you know when employers are viewing your submission and how many times they do it.

The functionality of ziprecruiter is really good, and maybe its just my industry or area, but there never seems to be anything on there except bogus positions for marketing, that are actually sales or setting up a booth at Costco for something. It's hard to find real positions in comparison to other job sites.

The ZipRecruiter team sends you e-mail confirmation of any application you've made, and lets you know if you've been viewed, the status of the position, and other things you'd want to know.

Well, it does the job. Meaning, you can see job postings and directly apply via Zip Recruiter.

It doesn't say anything about how your profile might fit into a specific job you might be interested in. What are your chances to even get notice? It doesn't do a good job telling you when was the last time that the recruiter even came back to that job post since it was last published.You might need to do your due diligence with job boards.You might see more tangible results from using Zip Recruiter as a place for primary research on job openings. Not necessarily a place to apply.

What I like most about ZipRecruiter is how fast it is to apply for jobs while you are using it and how easy it is to get your resume out there.

The feature I least like about ZipRecruiter is the recommended jobs it provides and sends me emails for. Many times they are jobs that are unrelated to my resume or jobs that I have been looking for, they feel like just randomly suggested jobs that undervalue me based off my resume and qualifications.
