Great experience and customer service.

Ease of booking.

Avantages

Ease of use online and how easy the software is to load and reserve. The software is clean and efficient.

Inconvénients

I don't like the limitations of the web app. I also need to be able to send a reservation link to guests who have saved a date but didn't pay immediately online. I need to be able to book a date out on the back end and send a booking link to guests to pay online instead of having to have them call in.

Find Xola very useful in keeping track of all payments/reservations.

Avantages

Ease & convenience of customers being able to book their own lessons, automatic email confirmations, waivers & camp packets and tracking of number of students....

Inconvénients

Cannot send confirmation emails to multiple customers on the order, sometimes it's hard to figure out how to enter the discounts....

The Xola support team has always been the best! Polite, knowledgeable, and top in their field!

It is enjoyable to use

Avantages

It truly makes booking, customer management, and employee management very easy and straight forward.

Inconvénients

There are some features I would like to see added to make a few of the processes easier such as Waiver process is a bit difficult if the customer looses the email they originally received. It also isn't very obvious to the customer they need to forward this on to the rest of their guests.

Xola has provided a one-stop shop for all my needs including booking, revenue and scheduling.

Avantages

I really love the automated emails that I receive for bookings and reminders. It helps me streamline my day and get our employees on board to who needs to do what. When running a business, it's nice to trust that customers are being followed up with!

Inconvénients

I don't like the jump in price from the basic to the next tier. Abandoned bookings are the big selling point and I feel it's a bit invasive if you ask someone why they didn't book or come back about "is there anything I can do to help you." It makes it look like you're spying on them a bit.

Solid easy to use booking software

Overall we really like Xola and would recommend it!

Avantages

This software is easy to use and doesn’t take very much training to get up and running. It has many different ways to view the information you need including a really helpful dashboard.

Inconvénients

Making changes to bookings or financial transactions were a bit more difficult and less intuitive but nothing that was a deal breaker. A log of when changes were made would also be helpful.

I own a room escape game and switched to Xola after seeing the list of awesome features.

This software offers a clean front end and back end booking system with many features not easily available in competitor's products. Customer support is excellent and I have had assistance every step of the way.

Avantages

Live customer support available by chat. This is amazing when you have a problem during a game and need an answer now. It has already been an extremely valuable feature. (Zen desk?)

Inconvénients

some functionality is limited without paying for a more expensive package. For example, there is no way to provide a printed receipt to a customer without upgrading to an enterprise account.

Very helpful and responsive support team

Booking software for daily use in all aspects of our business.

Avantages

The support staff is always friendly, available, and knowledgeable. It is great to be able to reach out to a real person immediately when I have any concerns at all.

fairly easy

Avantages

I like that I can easily see my trip offerings and make real time adjustments to the bookings. I also like that I can set up different campaigns for promotions and discounts.

Inconvénients

I am trying to find a better way to book combo trips that offer two different activities. I did have difficulty viewing the training videos because my internet was too slow.

Xola booking

Avantages

It is a great software for my scheduling as a tour boat Captain. Great to use as the app on my phone & also even better on my computer.

Inconvénients

Sometimes I have to re-enter my name & password on my cell phone app.

Xola is most useful app of my business

Xola has helped me out hugely in these two departments: (1) Collecting $$ from multiple guests and (2) Managing all of the dates, details, and reservations of all of those guests.

I have nothing bad to say about Xola...it has completely replaced my wall sized calendar and folders upon folders of excel sheets. Also, they always got back to me right quick when I was setting up my account. Super easy. Keep it up!

Avantages

Can check my company's reservations, schedule, guest details/notes, from anywhere any time.

No more wall sized-calendar.

Super easy to receive money from many many redundant, but unique, guest bookings.

Inconvénients

None

Overall, my experience using Xola has been great. It's an easy system to use.

Avantages

What I like most about this software is that it is easy to use. I can easily look at reservations and the notes option makes it easy for me to view information about the reservation.

Inconvénients

What I like least about this software is that sometimes the loading takes long. I have also had issues with the software not saving changes I previously made to a reservation.

Great staff!

Avantages

I like the on-boarding team that set things up for us and customer support. I also like how review of the time customers choose and payment info is on the same screen. I like the look of the software that customers see.

Inconvénients

I cannot comment on value for money at the moment because we are part of a match-price deal. I don't like that how a customer paid is not listed on the dashboard. It only says "paid" or "collect balance". I would prefer to see if a Groupon code was used on the dashboard screen so I could redeem the code straight from there.

Great booking software

Have enjoyed using Xola and like the overall look and feel. have had other options for booking software and turned it down..

Avantages

streamlined and new looking. very easy to navigate and use

lack of other options like changing pricing on the fly and adjusting reservations with ease

Xola Booking software is great

Without a great online booking platform you loose a huge portion of business! Xola helps create an online business infrastructure! They are great at handling the customer payment and provide quick money transfers as well!

Avantages

The software is very easy to use, and has fantastic customer engagement emails; reminders, and followup etc

Inconvénients

It does have some customization limitations, but if you are patient you can find acceptable workarounds!

Xola on line booking

Xola has provided us a valuable asset with their booking system. They immediately notify us and upon a booking. the captains once assigned a tour are notified of the tour time and type of tour.The customer is sent a receipt along with directions and faq's. We are also sent an alert hours ahead of the day the tours are scheduled. We find that the support team extremely accommodating and quick to reply. The funds are transferred into our bank account on a daily biases.
There could be some improvements in the software system. It does not automatically update changes. We find find some things somewhat confusing to make changes. However, support always comes through to help us. Most likely my problems with the system is because I am not a millennium baby and not the greatest with software.

Use XOLA for multiple clients

Avantages

Using XOLA for multiple clients in the Tourism & Recreation field. Not only do I like working with XOLA myself, but all our clients seem pretty happy.
As I started my job at my marketing firm about a month ago there was some things I didn't quite understand about XOLA. Got on the live support chat and was immediately helped!

Revolutionizing The Booking Experience

Xola is a fantastic platform for providing booking solutions for our company. My experience thus far has been absolutely wonderful with the entire team from the CEO on down. Even though this is a fairly new company, they are setting a new standard in the front end experience for our customers and essentially making the booking process as simple as can be. As the software continues to be developed, I am certain the the features and dashboard will continue to improve so the functionality on the back end will be even better for the experience providers like us. This will help our company run more efficiently too. We are absolutely thrilled to be working with such an innovative, customer centric, and trailblazing software company! I am certain that anyone who gives this software a try will be beyond pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend them.

XOLA Rocks!

I have used numerous online event registration software platforms and XOLA is by far the best. It is easy to set up and adapt to the multiple kinds of events we offer. Its streamlined registration process makes it easy for customers to choose an event, register and pay. There is also an abandoned cart feature. Both you and your customers are notified via an email when a registration is not complete. I was amazed at the lost sales captured using this feature.
The Smart Waiver integration allows us to see who has completed their form on the event roster. Check in is a snap on a Smart Phone or tablet.
The workflow is automated with reminder, follow-up and survey emails.
There is also Facebook Integration. Most of our customers now register form our Facebook page!
I cant imagine stepping back to other platforms. You wont be disappointed if you choose XOLA!

The ability to see a dashboard of my current and upcoming schedules is very helpful. The accessibility is a much needed asset in my busy lifestyle.

I wish I could view notes more easily regarding customer reservations/bookings without having to navigate so much.

Xola's 5-Star Booking & Customer Info Management System

A couple years ago, we realized that we needed an improved booking and customer information management system to improve the efficiency of our guest's booking experience and to save us time managing our sea kayak tour & expedition business. We looked at every system available before settling on Xola. These guys are absolutely top-notch and we are so glad to have found them. The Xola system is very easy to learn and use, and it provides an outstanding, positive experience for our customers. In fact, since adopting the Xola system our business has grown considerably. Pricing for the booking system is quite reasonable, and scaled to the size of our business. We highly recommend any adventure travel business owner who is looking for an improved system to be sure to give Xola a look-over. It will be time very well spent and you'll be glad you did it.

Easy, efficient, exactly what we needed

It saves tons of time during the booking process!

Avantages

Xola staff were able to customize the software to specifically fit our programs. I like the fact that once one program is booked, any conflicting appointments are immediately marked unavailable.

Inconvénients

So far the only issue I'm having is that due to company policy, I haven't been able to sync the calendar to my work calendar, but that is an issue with my company that they're trying to find a way to work around.

Xola - a great solution for online reservations and customer management

My company started using Xola for online reservations and customer management a little over a year and a half ago. At the time I was apprehensive to switch to a new system because I wasn't sure how quickly or easily my staff and I would be able to adapt to a new reservation platform. I soon discovered that the system is very intuitive and easy to figure out. When I did run into questions, the team at Xola was fast to respond with answers and solutions. I have been especially impressed with their eagerness to seek out suggestions for improvement and, secondly, implement them to perfection. In our business, there seems to always be customizations and bizarre situations that require a lot of flexibility within a system. In each of these occurrences, the team at Xola has met the challenge. I'm very happy to be using this system and encourage anyone shopping around to look into Xola.

Nifty and smooth but it could be improved to be more user-friendly

It's fairly easy to use. My boss uses it to organize times and payment for our escape room bookings.

Avantages

The overall layout looks very clean like a polished outline. The organization of details (which parts matter the most like costs, names, and times) is very well-thought out. The features are easy to find.

Inconvénients

It's difficult to make adjustments or last minute changes that do NOT get saved. If you want to update something, it's response time is slow or it does not acknowledge the change at all.
Also, it's annoying how clicking on one booking appointment suddenly changes the whole format without an option of going back. I have to refresh the whole web page to go back to the general layout of bookings for the week.

Xola is the best decision that I have made for my escape room business.

Avantages

I like the software because it does nearly everything I need it too on its own and gives me the time I need to work on my business. I like the company because they not only stand behind their product, but their customer support more than pays for the monthly costs

Inconvénients

Honestly, I have yet to find a fault in the software. The only complaints I may have is at my own inability to correctly use all of the features that Xola has and not watching the training videos sooner.

Onboarding

Avantages

Representatives made the onboarding process super easy! They transferred all of my customers, promos, bookings etc.

Inconvénients

They don't have some vital features that others do such as: making a private link to a reserved a time slot for team members to book individually, they don't give you all of the stats on the abandoned bookings, no promo ability for customers booking over a certain number.

Simple but lacking

By and large, the system functions effectively but has issues.

I only gave three stars for "Overall" because the system lacks necessary features for my operation and has limitations of use.

Three stars for "Ease of Use" for the same reasons as above. Plus we experience glitches within the system.

Four stars for Customer Service rather than five stars is not a reflection of inadequate service. We all have the "fifth" star to constantly strive for.

I and my staff spoke with Ms Kelsey Gan yesterday and we feel she will address all of the above referenced issues, questions or comments we had for her regarding the system.

Xola is en extremely user friendly booking system, both on the front and back ends. A great...

Ease of use for my customers and staff. Less confusion on my website interface. Easier to train my staff on how to use the software.

Avantages

The front end of Xola has a very clean, user friendly design. This lets my customers navigate it with ease and without confusion. The back end is very easy to use as well. Populating financial reports & graphics for a quick reference, a simple booking process, and a great credit card processing rate are all reasons that we love Xola.

As a beginner in the business of online booking, it's a relief to have such great support....

The software makes doing most everything simple. Just a click or two....change guest count, switch trips, add fee's, refund all (or partial) ticket prices....etc etc...
Every product has it's bumps in the road but there is always someone ready to answer my questions and/or fix my mistakes....via chat, text or email...there is ALWAYS someone there!
I, along with my concierges, crew, and employees, can view, edit, add bookings on ANY smart phone. Very important. I also find the bookkeeping simple with this system. Tracking commissions, payment types, refunds, payments, customers...all with the click of my mouse.
I have spoken with other companies (and drilled them on their programs!) and decided on Xola for ease of use, customer support and all around value....I will not switch. Thank you Xola!

Easy and straightforward

Avantages

Ease of use, Simplicity, Graphics and colour scheme are pleasant. User interface is quite good for first time users. Can accomplish things easily on the administrator side. Seamless connectivity with Smartwaiver! Love it.

Inconvénients

Nothing in particular at the moment. Some accounting features would be nice to have in future e.g. pay by date sending reminders that payment is due (no cancellations within X number of days).

Xola Booking Engine

Being a fishing guide I am certainly not a tech savvy entrepreneur. So when starting a business I figured I needed all the help I could get with web bookings and content. Not only did Xola provide my website with an awesome booking engine but also helped me in a personal way through any problems I encountered.

Avantages

Too many to list. Keeps me organized even when I'm not...

Inconvénients

They will soon have the ability to link all information into quickbooks! when they do Xola will be the best in the business!

Great booking software with excellent customer support. Would recommend hands down over others!

Simple booking integration.

Avantages

Booking is seamless and easy. No complicated setup or development required to get this started. The customizations are nice as well for things such as booking buttons.

Inconvénients

I've had some issues with tracking and reporting for our ads. The documentation is simple but sometimes leaves something to be desired.

XOLA for the win

Didn't have any way for customers to book online previously. Has increased sales dramatically.

Avantages

The best part about Xola is that they do the heavy lifting for you. They get the booking software up on the site for you and it works great. Very customizable.

Inconvénients

There isn't really anything I would change about Xola. They have been great. Everyone needs the ability to book online.

Xola is fantastic to work with!

Xola has proven to be a useful tool for all employees and customers.

Avantages

The software is easy to use and allows access on my cell phone/iPad/computer for easy booking on the go or at work.

Inconvénients

The mobile app lacks an ability for the "pay later" function. If added that would be ideal

Very good booking software

Avantages

I really like their focus on making the booking experience easy for customers - that is the most important thing about any booking software. Also they have great customer service!

Inconvénients

I wish Xola had the functionality to make dependent bookings where two different experiences can be linked where one experience can only be booked after another.

Xola is very user-friendly

Avantages

Xola is easy to use and it offers tips and tutorials on the Xola University link. Xola seems to really care about my business and whether we succeed or not.

Inconvénients

The wording used on the page to create coupons is a little difficult to follow. It could be clearer.

Xola is the best of the best!

The entire team at XOLA were professional, kind and understanding! None of my questions were trivial to them. They allowed us to take our time in implementing the system and were there for us EVERY step of the way! I cannot imagine using any other system! We looked around and are convinced that we chose the exact system WE needed. It is so simple and clear to use, unlike many we researched. You cannot go wrong with XOLA - I promise anyone would be more than satisfied.
I do believe that the XOLA team members care about your progress and they want you to succeed in your business. We are totally overwhelmed with Xola and so very glad we implemented their system!!

Excellent - efficient system and great support

When system has a hiccup - the few times there was an outage it made registrations challenging support was immediate and fixes were simple

This is easy and makes tour bookings so easy!

Avantages

Easy to use. Love the feature that it highlights the tour guides and tells a bit about them before the customers go on the tour.

Inconvénients

It does not verify that the tour guide accepted the tour assignment. It only assigns the tour guide. We are constantly texting to find out if the tour guide received the booking.

Thank you for the review! Our Self Service tool allows customers to cancel their booking! You can find this by going to Products>Listings>edit your listing>Self Service. The feature will allow your customers to cancel the booking, up to a time frame you set, before the experience goes out. It will also allow your customer to make changes to the date or questionnaire, if you would like it to. I am going to reach out and make sure you get this set up in your account. Great Product

Overall this software has made scheduling our escape room really simple.

Avantages

It was very easy to set up and customize and it looks great on our website. It makes bookings for our escape room easy for customers.

Inconvénients

As a guide, I would like to receive text notifications or have the SMS option to receive them when I am assigned a booking.

Review by Nostalgia Ballooning

Obviously I find Xola a great fit for my business by the rating I gave it. I have answers to my questions within minutes of my emails which is impressive. Since I started with them, I have seen them only grow and continue to offer features that are increasingly robust. I would like to see them dumb it down a little for us non-coding guys and offer more options for book now and gift it buttons. On the plus side all you have to do is ask and they will provide one.

I see my business growing with them.

Xola has improved all aspects of our online booking experience for everyone.

We've been looking for a complete software tool to improve all areas of our Reservation Management System. We also were looking for something at a fair price for a medium to large volume company. We found both with Xola and we were stoked that they had all the tools we were looking for plus others we've come to rely on. We appreciate their immediate feedback and customer service response and that they listen to suggestions and are ever expanding and improving Xola.

Makes my job as a driver so much easier.

Notifications tend to come and be very generic. The times also tend to smash together when on the same group.

Avantages

I am able to see my schedule and others very easily. The different colors help when we have an extremely busy day and 40 plus different tours.

One Stop Shop

Xola has been a breakthrough for us as we have several users both in and out of our company making reservations. It has allowed us to consolidate our schedule and control inventory in a very simple and easy way. Training time has been drastically cut down due to the easy to use interface, and their support is quick and efficient when we have had a few questions. We are huge fans!
