Avantages

The ability to make a publication offline, upload it, and have it immediately compatible with all browsers, both desktop and mobile has been a game changer for us.

Making changes by simply reuploading our publication on top of itself is amazing. We can make changes daily and our customers never need a new link, there's no downtime, the changes are just instant and all it takes is up pressing upload.

The realistic approach of actually turning paper on mobile or desktops, the page turning sound, search function, thumbnail functions, all of the little additional things you wouldn't think mattered have made our customers experiencing searching our catalog so much better.

Inconvénients

We had a few customers tell us they couldn't access our publication online and after researching the issue we found the server our publication was hosted on was not in the US and their firewall was using GEO-IP to block countries outside of the US. We resolved the issue but be aware that could happen to you.

I love that everything about Paperturn is geared towards being easy to understand, navigate and implement which, for a small non profit is absolutely essential.

From start to finish, Paperturn makes digital publishing feel effortless. I've been using Paperturn for both business and personal projects. The platform allows me to create digital brochures and flip e-book with incredibly high quality.

For the top-tier advanced features, you love to purchase the upgraded version.

We find its functionality very user friendly and we use the statistics tab a lot throughout issues to track the progress of readership.

Inconvénients

With every edition we have difficulties with embedding the custom code onto our Squarespace website. For two such leading brands we would have hoped that this wouldn't be an issue but it is.

Blount and Beyond has found a wonderful home at Paperturn. It is user friendly, allows my readers to read the magazine on their phone, computor, etc. It is very shareable. I am so happy I found this business as it is a good fit for Blount and Beyond.

It is really easy to use and allows us to create digital brochure and set live on site in an instant. The links to our site are so important so customers can purchase directly on our website. The analytics are also really useful to us to show which pages perform the best and inform future content.

Inconvénients

I have struggled to link into google analytics but that might be more of a google analytics technical issue than an issue with paperturn but further knowledge of the customer journey from when they view the brochure would be interesting.

We love that we can host our catalog online and that everything is linked back to our site!

It takes a little bit of time getting used to but not that bad.

Our company loves how easy this software is to use and our customers love to flip through our ebook as well as our services catalog. It looks professional and helps sell our products and services.

Besides the ease of uploading material, the bells and whistles that make your publication stand out are amazing. the pop-ups, the embedded videos, and all the other additions make a simple manuscript come alive.

I'm not sure 100% of the rules about using the pop-ups, etc. I need to fully understand that if I upload some pop-ups and later upload a new .pdf with additional pages, does that mess up the previous pop-ups, having to start over adding them back into the updated .pdf?

Not only is the flipbook appealing to the eye, it's also interactive and has helped us drive more traffic to our Facebook group. I've also booked more Sales calls which I strongly believe was from all of the hyperlink and button options.

I think if I had to choose something, it would be that I could edit my PDF that I upload into Paperturn. I have had spelling errors before, and would be easier to update that within Paperturn.

I use this flipbook application for publishing books with images and occasional music files.
This software works well for me setting up projects that I can update easily and are more colourful with a pdf source than say Kindle.

I used this software to create a flip book brochure for our company, I liked how easy it was to use the, very straight forward to upload our PDF document and add in website links.

Creating the website links in terms of putting boxes over the links was quite tricky

The pricing is my only challenge. It's not like you pay for one time price for your upload and for beginners it's a little stretch on the budget.

Once we uploaded our file, it was seamless. We were able to add links, art, even change pages and make corrections very easily. Online, it just worked well and continues to flipping smoothly. This is the best page turn we have used and I used to be a publisher of large magazines.

We purchased a custom url for our pageturn but currently the system does not allow for our simple domain but includes extra letters. It is my understanding this is something already in process of release soon.
