It is a valuable tool to use for talent screening, very easy and intuitive to use. I have not encountered any bugs during the test, everything seems fine overall.

Inconvénients

At this time, I have no negative experiences with it, so I can't say that there is something that bothered me. Everything works fine and it does what it supposed to do for the employer and the possible future employee.

Absolutely loved how HiPeople tackles the nitty-gritty of daily challenges we face as leaders. It's like they've got a direct line to what goes on in our world, turning those everyday headaches into teachable moments and actionable advice.

Inconvénients

The only snag for me has been the internet connection, and the inability to copy and paste my Prolific ID code in, which feels a bit clunky. A smoother experience on the go would make it unbeatable.

Simple multiple choice questions based on foundational technical knowledge. The assessment didn't steal any ideas from me.. ie. it wasn't a set design task that can be used to exploit participants for free work under the guise of "skills assessment". I appreciate this about HiPeople. The fact that they didn't ask for free ideas via a fake design brief (which companies generally use for their own benefit by using you and wasting your time, misleading you in thinking you're working toward a potential hire), makes me respect and trust them even though we've never met. One of the few assessments which didn't leave me feeling used or exploited by the end of it. Thanks.

I think there is some room for improvement, quick fixes that can help reduce bias:

1. Such as including icons with text- as not all people know the names of specific functionality, but as visual learners they can easily recognise it's purpose by it's icon.
2. Perhaps, language and communication preferences in the beginning could be added. That might help level the playing field to ensure everyone is answering in the language they prefer best, using the method they are most comfortable with.. ie. verbal vs written responses.

I found it a bit time-consuming to answer questions for those who don't have much contact with the English language. Normally, Brazilians are taught to read the entire text before answering the questions. So, they start reading the text again before the candidate starts to answer.

During the time I spent reading each question and giving the right answer, I never felt pressured meaning the time given for each question was the right amount.
The system is easy to understand, the layout of everything (from the colors to the lettering and font) was really comfortable to work with.

During some of the quick assessments, mainly in the one stage of the shapes and the patterns that had to be analyzed, the question and the shapes (images) might've been a little to small making them hard to see.
