Clunky, slow, terrible reporting. Does the job, but does so in a very inefficient way.

Its an ATS - it keeps the data we need, but it just does so really terribly.

Avantages

Navigation between candidates, companies, and applications
Relatively user-friendly interface
Note sharing and distribution listings easy

Inconvénients

Reporting. Pulling a report with the exact same parameters multiple times produce reports with widely varying results. Even when parameters are set (e.g. exclude a field), parameters are not stuck to leading to inaccurate results. Will not operate correctly if there is too much data in the reports, so it cannot handle creating a single report with multiple months/years of data, meaning smaller reports have to be pulled separately and then pieced together manually.
Customer service - highlighting issues with the platform went nowhere. Identifying problems or issues elicited zero response from Bullhorn.
Performance - so so slow! Opening candidate profiles takes forever!

Not great for corporate recruiting

My experience with Bullhorn as our internal ATS has been less than stellar. Overall, I do think it's a good product, but I do not think it is for the corporate side of things. I think this system is much more beneficial for recruiting agencies who are hiring at multiple clients. However, for recruiters that are only hiring internally, it is extremely clunky and very difficult to use.

Avantages

One of the main pros is the cost, it is definitely an affordable system that fit well within our budget. Also, it does look appealing to the eye when looking at a first glance.

Inconvénients

Unfortunately, I have many more cons that pros for this system. First, the training during implementation was horrible. The person that was training me clearly was not trained herself and made it very difficult to pick up on the different areas of the system. Then, the entire implementation process has been a nightmare. It was extremely difficult for my tech team to even get the system up and running, which months later it still isn't. During the implementation, I was told several times by the trainer that we had no Account Manager or sole point of contact at Bullhorn, but that everything had to go through the help desk. About 5 months into having access to the system, I found out that not only did I have an Account Manager the whole time that I was never told about, but it was actually the person who sold me the system in the first place. Also, it has been extremely difficult to integrate Bullhorn with Indeed, which is where we get a large portion of our applicants from. Lastly, I do not find this system user friendly at all. It is very clunky and hard to navigate, there are just too many moving parts. You need to go to several areas to do one small thing in the system which is very frustrating when you are pressed for time.

A powerful CRM with great resources for future development

The fact that Bullhorn never stops on the achieved results make us believe that their functionality can bring even more benefits in the future. This vendor can surprise their customers with a lot of new features, each of which is equally qualitative to the previous standard package of abilities.

Avantages

This is a tool where everything is ready at hand. Bullhorn offers opportunities for lead generation, as well as for requirement delivery. The management process is seamless and does not require creating API linkages between multiple programs. All the information about each user/employee is organized in a logical and visually convenient form. Besides, the program offers easy and fast abilities to contact each other inside the system and share some important files. It is incredibly important for our company to be ahead of the competition and to make as many people of our target audience as possible aware of our services. We do believe that Bullhorn is really what we need for this aim to come true. With its help, our company can easily gather like-minded fellows in one team to create really unique and thoughtful ideas and run successful projects.

Inconvénients

To tell the truth, it was hard to find anything we do dislike about Bullhorn. There are just some small shortcomings we would like to see improved in the future releases. For instance, our company would appreciate greatly if Bullhorn paid more attention to their ATS functionality. Very rarely, but still, there might be some problems with the e-mails arrival (personally, we faced this error just once or twice). In general, Bullhorn is a satisfactory platform.

Be very careful before going down the Bullhorn path

Unfortunately it's been one of the worth experiences yet for us. It's expensive to implement (due to the customization's) and on contract renewal they try to increase the price by 20%. In addition, the support team is horrible.

Avantages

The LinkedIn integration (to import candidates into Bullhorn from LinkedIn)

Inconvénients

The front end (user interface) is extremely old, slow and not intuitive to our users.

Bullhorn

Works overall well for our needs, it's a bit pricey but does the job for a staffing firm

Avantages

It's easy to pick up if you're a new user, the navigation is intuitive and it's rather easy to find what you need, input data, etc.

Inconvénients

There's a lot of bugs and issues when it comes to logging in to sessions, it kicking you out too quickly, and a lot of features are either redundant or don't exist. (ie. you can't delete a company profile?) It's also difficult to edit features in the field mapping, acts too much like coding if you're not familiar with how to make those changes.

A Sophisticated Tool for Customer Relationship Management: Bullhorn CRM

I will say that Bullhorn CRM is the best CRM software product for managing customer-relationship in any organization from my experience.
It is a robust tool that ensures customer satisfaction and retention as well as providing the opportunity for new customers thus increasing the company's productivity.
its interface is quite simple to use and appealing.
I highly recommend Bullhorn CRM to those companies looking for better CRM solutions.

Avantages

Bullhorn CRM capability to provide immediate insight into the person that is in touch and the capability to keep track of all conversations between different stakeholders makes it superior over other CRM software.
Increased customer relation has led to improve in my organization's productivity.
another cool feature about is about its intuitive interface that is simple and easy to work with even for the inexperienced users.

Inconvénients

In my opinion, I will say the latency experienced by Bullhorn CRM has made it be time-consuming in some context and even failure to capture data from the user.

Cumbersome software which doesn't function well

The integration with Linkedin doesn't work. This was the reason I subscribed so the software is now almost useless but Bullhorn won't release me from my contract. The customer care is awful. I'm going to have to subscribe to a new CRM provider but will be forced to continue paying Bullhorn vast amounts for money for a service that's completely useless.

I don't like anything - it's not at all what I was led to believe

Inconvénients

Badly designed software which isn't user friendly. Extremely slow in loading information, you need to update everything you do and it takes forever. The features which are most appealing such as the Linkedin integration don't actually work.

Solid and Useful Tool for Recruiting and Sales

I have used Bullhorn from 2004 until 2015 -- when my employer took a slight break to convert over to another ATS based on SalesForce. Full Disclosure -- Bullhorn was taking too long to convert us over to the S Release and our Management felt it was time to make a change to a new product.

After a little less than 1 year on the SalesForce product ( it was a terrible experience ) , our Company is back to using Bullhorn, this time on the S Release version.

Bullhorn is a solid tool for Recruitment and Sales in the Staffing and Solutions arena. With the S Release, I feel Bullhorn has only improved. We're able to use the product on all browsers and the mobile experience has gotten slightly improved.

We've had Bullhorn integrated with exchange since roughly 2006 and it has been a great balance. We get to use a great email client and Bullhorn still tracks and stores all communications to clients and candidates.

Avantages

Bullhorn has great usability 'Right out of the Box and is easy and flexible to customize screens and fields.
Intuitive workflow with the ability to track the most important Activities, events, and stats
They have built up many great partnerships with 3rd party products and services so that integration can be very easy
Customer Support has improved dramatically in the last 5 years.

Inconvénients

Reporting has improved with the S-Release for standard reports. But Customized reporting is still difficult to do on your own -- if not impossible -- and often requires their professional services

Bullhorn saves me so much time!

Bullhorn is great because it is web-based and you can used it anywhere. This enables you to work on the go and not be crippled in the office.

It's great for tracking applicants to certain jobs. It's ability to search for candidates per criteria makes it one of the best in the business. The amount of search fields you can filter by will ensure that you are sourcing the most qualified candidates - the biggest advantage is you are connecting with candidates who are not on the public job boards.

It's also updated regularly and the UI is great. Very responsive and virtually no lag - this really increase productivity and workflow. Collaboration with other users in the organization is top notch. Everyone involved in the same job can have quick/easy access to job updates to ensure time isn't wasted.

Overall Bullhorn is a MANDATORY tool that all recruiting companies should own.

- great collaboration between users (everyone is on the same page and no time/effort is wasted)

Inconvénients

There should be video tutorials on how to search for candidates. There are so many filters that it might be overwhelming to start searching with no training.

Has a long way to go

Salesforce was much better in my experience
Newer ATS systems are likely less feature-rich, but if the features are slow, aren't friendly, and waste the recruiters time, then they aren't worth anything

Avantages

-Tons of features that could be utilized
-Could text through the ATS

Inconvénients

-Had to log back in after 15 mins of no use, would delete all your notes
-No notifications for new applicants that applied to your jobs
-Slow, buffered a lot, load times take forever
-Tab structure is terrible, and if you have to refresh you lose all your tabs that were open
-Dashboards don't sync with data that is inputted
-Cannot open multiple candidates at once

Great ATS, the best one I have used as a Recruiter

Bullhorn ATS is overall a great tool for our recruiting team and we enjoy using it. It integrates well with a lot of the other tools we use to improve the candidate experience including Herefish, LinkedIn, TextUs, etc. Wish customer support was a bit stronger with stronger, long-lasting solutions, but overall we like it.

Integrates with a lot of other software we use like TextUs, Herefish, LinkedIn, LinkedIn Jobs, etc. We also like that it has a lot of capability and functionality, more than other ATS's I have used. It also has a fairly easy to use interface and a lot of training materials, which makes it easy to onboard new recruiters on to our team.

Inconvénients

Customer Support is very unhelpful when we try to add new functionality, suggest Bullhorn updates, or if we have a system issue. We have not been impressed with their problem-solving or timely support.

Australian Agencies should avoid - Expensive product with terrible support -

I imagine this product was great five years ago but it feels very antiquated now. Suggest that anyone looking at Bullhorn keep looking. It's expensive but doesn't deliver in terms of functionality or support.

Avantages

Easy to roll out and has bare bones functionality. Possiblt okay for a large agency that is able to afford further add ons and customisation.

Inconvénients

Where to begin. There is almost not automation in terms of messaging or basic things like organising interviews. The platform is very slow and buggy. Worse, there is no communication from Bullhorn regarding these bugs, or updates in general - let alone a roadmap. The product is very expensive compared to most comparable CRMs in the market but doesn't come with premium support or account management.

Clean CRM Design

Bullhorn is definitely one of the better CRM softwares available on the market. It has a clean, well-designed interface with plently of features for the average user. The support team a Bullhorn is great; we always had a very good experience with them. As your company grows, this CRM can grow with you but it can get expensive.

Avantages

Bullhorn is a well designed platform. The User Interface was my favorite aspect of the design. The functions are easily located and navigable. Everything has a clean, organized appearance with intuitive design.

Inconvénients

Bullhorn lacks some of the functionality of other CRM platforms. For smaller companies, it should be adequate but as our company grew, we found the need for functions such as integrated email and forms building which Bullhorn couldn't offer at a reasonable rate.

Excellent ATS!

I have been using Bullhorn for over 8 years. I train every new hire and it is quick to get new recruiters up and running as the system is very user-friendly and easy to learn. I love that you can easily customize every screen in Bullhorn so that it fits your companies workflow!

Avantages

The lists are my favorite feature. They have greatly helped our company. We can filter on any data point in Bullhorn to create available candidate lists for our recruiters and target lists for our sales reps.
Notes can be entered very quickly into Bullhorn on a candidate or clients record. As a result we have been able to reduce our unemployment rate by several percentages saving our company thousands of dollars.

Inconvénients

None! Bullhorn is constantly updating their software and making improvements. I have no complaints.

Working with Bullhorn is very easy and effective for the work

Bullhorn is a very compatible and easy to use ATS for recruiting and Staffing purpose, It has many features which provide value and time saving to your hard work.

Inconvénients

Pop-up has been irritating while using it on regular basis, but that also give you details on real time basis.

Recruiting at its best

Overall, I strongly recommend that companies start using Bullhorn. It is definitely the best recruitment software there is.

Avantages

I love Bullhorn because I can access it from my laptop or even my mobile device. Our company has been using Bullhorn for years now and it greatly helped in automating our recruitment process. It is customizable and user-friendly. It is very straight forward. What I admire the most is the ability to create tearsheets for different lists of candidates. It is very helpful especially if the job posting that you are working on gets repetitive. You can also create reminders or tasks so that you will never forget to call your candidates.

Inconvénients

I think Bullhorn can improve on its text messaging features. Sometimes, the characters are not enough. Although text messages are meant to be short, it would be highly appreciated if they can add more characters to every text.

Comprehensive Design

Bullhorn provides a complete servicing platform for all stages of candidate recruiting. We are able to manage our client and candidate contact lists, our jobs, payroll, onboarding, and more.

Aside from minor window control and UI quirks, Bullhorn has few flaws.

With recent mergers, our company has experienced exponential growth during 2016. With that growth comes the challenge of integrating client and sales data, as well as candidate data. With Bullhorn, the integration was seamless. All of the data was easily uploaded into our established Bullhorn database and we experienced no downtime.

Avantages

The integration. We are able to integrate third-party software into our platform which allows us to work from one tool. We save time and money as a result.

Inconvénients

With so many features, the user interface can become cumbersome and imperfect.

Bullhorn- Ease of Use

We have been on the Bullhorn Platform for over 6 years and has become the hub of all our Recruitment and Sales interactions.

The tool is easy to use, easy to update and the user friendly design makes it easy to get a new user up to speed quickly.

The online training and resource centre makes finding information simple.

We use this for all aspects from Lead Generation through to Offer/Placement.

Professional Services work- There is an opportunity to do customization to the product but would suggest waiting to see if needed. Customizations are usually where you will have issues when something breaks. The core product is always working but automations is where you may see failures.

Excellent Way to Manage Pipeline and Relationships for Full Desk Recruiter

I have been using Bullhorn for almost 2 years, and I love it. I like it because it helps me to manage my pipeline for both recruiting candidates and marketing to clients. It is easy to use, and is very functional. The task list serves as my daily calendar, and the search tools allow me to easily view search results. Managing relationships using Pulse is a great feature - it tracks relationship communication.

Avantages

The free training webinars that are offered help me to continually learn about the features and new updates. The way Bullhorn is set up is very functional, and it seems easy to alter and adjust settings according to preferences for the recruiter or the team. The dashboard provides good information to manage performance. Seriously - it's a great ATS.

Inconvénients

At first, my cons were with the search tool. But over time, the search tool has become more functional. My days would not be the same if I did not have Bullhorn.

I have been using Bullhorn for over 10 years not a great fit for a small firm.

Avantages

Cloud based software.
User friendly for new recruiters.
Great for parsing resumes.
Ability to view open jobs and submissions.

Inconvénients

Bullhorn is pricey and does not build their software with small business in mind. Candidate searching takes some time to learn. There was many more pros in the past now those pros come with negatives. Over the past few years it has been difficult to manage. Do your homework before implementing. As you increase and build business it becomes costly and time consuming to try a different software. Look at reviews from recruiters and administrators. Software should be functional for the recruiter and manageable for the administators.

Customer Review

Customer Experience Alert: Like any customer, we gave our notice to Bullhorn and reduced our number of users to 1 to adhere to the terms of the contract and ride it out with our 60 days notice. We followed their rules, kept the customer service reps informed and got the OK to reduce down to 1 user. Soon enough I look at my billing statement and they had charged us for more than 1 user. I called their front line billing staff and they said it would be reversed. To my surprise, I receive a call today where the front line billing staff said that even though we have not used more than 1 user, we will still be charged for more than 1. This tells you how the senior management thinks, where their ethics are and how low they can stoop. A few dollars won't break the bank but when you treat a customer that is leaving with such low ethics. That shows your true colours. You can continue acquiring other companies but as you grow bigger, your problems get magnified. I'll be sure to mention this to everyone in the industry considering an ATS never to bother with Bullhorn especially with their limitations on the system and ridiculous policies. By the way, we were loyal customers for 2 years and only left due to the inability to resolve repeated issues with their system.

Bullhorn for the Win !

As a Technical Recruiter in the IT staffing industry you quickly learn the importance of leveraging efficient technologies that add immediate value to your business objectives. A Full Life Cycle Recruiter manages the entire recruitment process, initiating it by posting a job, procuring and screening candidate resumes, interviewing candidates, and extending formal offers of employment. I can confidently say that Bullhorn helps me meet my objectives from start to finish. The functionality and ease of use (in my opinion) are strong attributes of the product. When there are a million things going on in your day you can appreciate a simplistic platform that is easy to navigate. The reporting and analytics are also a huge plus for me as well. I reevaluate my recruiting process often by utilizing my Bullhorn reports to evaluate my metrics. For example, I pay very close attention to where I have sourced recent hires from to determine which job boards for certain roles are yielding better results.

Avantages

Pulse is certainly a great feature from Bullhorn. It allows me to track the flow of communication with my candidates. I also love the idea that it can determine the best time of day to reach a candidate as well based off of previous conversations. There are definitely some neat features that help you work smarter.

Inconvénients

Although I am still learning the ins and outs of Bullhorn I am very happy with the product this far.

Was a Sendouts customer when Bullhorn bought them and eventually forced to migrate to Bullhorn platform. Have been very dissatisfied with customer service. They don't offer much for small firms (we are 2 employees) and won't even assign an account manager to us. They recently did an upgrade that caused a major issue with SPF and resume submissions - but they didn't tell their customers until after the fact. We only found out when we contacted them with the issue - crazy bad execution on their part. Finally had enough and am currently transitioning to a new ATS vendor and Bullhorn is really slow getting through that process. Terrible customer service.

Avantages

Fairly easy to implement and navigate. Decent overall at working through recruiting process workflow.

Inconvénients

Limited effectiveness interfacing with LinkedIn. Poor mobile access. Frequent time outs and often requires multiple attempts to log in for some reason.

Solid CMS

Great customer service. We just implemented BH new Novo platform and they were great during that transition process especially. Overall, if you're willing to put in the time up front to really get to know the system, it is a really really great tool.

Avantages

It is very customizable and holds a ton of information. Covers the full-scope of the staffing and recruiting process from prospecting sales leads, to coorespondance tracking to placements and reporting. Also integrates with Gmail (seamlessly) as well as LinkedIn Recruiter (with a few bugs).

Inconvénients

There are almost too many functions. I use Bullhorn literally all day every day and I don't think I have even scratched the surface of what all BH can do...its almost overwhelming to think about. This also makes training new users a bit more time costly than training on other software/systems.

Yesterday's technology with awful support

We had an awful time trying to configure the system, were blatantly lied to by their sales with regard to certain functionalities (their reporting is hardcoded and pretty much useless) and never received support until at the end we threatened with cancellation. Funny thing is that months after cancellation we still get the occasional fresh invoice and product updates. On top of that, they hired a debt recovery agency which started calling 100 times per day threatening all kinds of things. I know of one other agency in this city that had exactly the same issue! Anyway, the calls stopped when we proved cancellation and it was clear we wouldn't pay, and then only recently we got a call from their support asking how we are getting on with the system!

Avantages

UI looks appealing, as is their sales pitch

Inconvénients

Yesterday's technology, slow, buggy, very bad CRM (dont believe the sales pitch), hard coded useless reports, submit a ticket and submit it another three times before you get an email from support 5 days later. Double the expense for half the functionality, contractually difficult and implementation fees.

Bullhorn provides a complete servicing platform for all stages of candidate recruiting. We are able to manage our client and candidate contact lists, our jobs, payroll, onboarding, and more.

Aside from minor window control and UI quirks, Bullhorn has few flaws.

With recent mergers, our company has experienced exponential growth during 2016. With that growth comes the challenge of integrating client and sales data, as well as candidate data. With Bullhorn, the integration was seamless. All of the data was easily uploaded into our established Bullhorn database and we experienced no downtime.

As a Staffing Agency, our entire organization uses Bullhorn CRM. Bullhorn is our main recruiting tool allowing us to easily manage sales leads, candidate leads, and all levels of the staffing process. It effectively addresses the time issue; this tool saves us a great deal of time by organizing each of our processes in a general tab format.

Avantages

Organization - The layout of the Bullhorn interface is simple. This makes training new users easy and makes working in bullhorn stress-free.

Detail - Bullhorn allows us to enter and retrieve a great amount of detail within records. This allows for accurate reporting and follow-up.

Customization - Bullhorn is very customizable. We can easily add components and fields to the interface within each function of the CRM.

Inconvénients

User Interface - Though highly customizable, the windows and popups can be quirky. The sizes of windows for example can sometimes be to small for the data contained and require a great deal of scrolling to navigate through.

Email Capability - Bullhorn would be better with a full service email suite which included all of the functions of MS Outlook for example.

Data speed - We all want to work faster. Bullhorn can sometimes be a bit sluggish with the transmission of data.

Great ATS (Application Tracking System)

Avantages

The ATS piece of Bullhorn is the best in the business. The way candidates are managed and organized there is nothing better. The tool has a great way to track candidates from the applications to the placement stage and is very user-friendly. The tool also integrations very well with tools such as Broadbean and Daxtra which makes searching for candidates even better.

Inconvénients

There is not much ability to customize the platform. IF you can keep you business to as close to 'out of box' as possible, you will be thankful.

Also the true CRM piece of bullhorn does not comapre to competetors such as Salesforce

Bullhorn has great partnerships!

Avantages

What I love most about Bullhorn is not only the easy interface but also their partnership with vendors. They have a marketplace that allows you find so many great tools to help your business and they all integrate with Bullhorn!

Inconvénients

They have some things that are hard coded that I wish we could change. Also, they tend to tell customers about new features and give a date that it will be live but it usually takes longer than expected. For example, they said the new version would be rolled out in July and when I spoke to them about when we would be getting it they said it would be closer to December.

Bullhorn becomes part of the fabric of your organization and definitely not something that you could live without.

Avantages

Bullhorn helps to streamline the recruitment process by allowing your jobs, candidates and placements to all be in one place at your fingertips. You can create a simplified workflow on each entity so you can see what has been done, what stage the record is at and helps to keep your process on track. The reporting is easy to use and allows for follow up with your team members.

The list views are very easy to train and once you understand one, you can navigate easily through the system. Training becomes easy because the tool has a standardized look and feel.

Inconvénients

There are a few areas within the application that you do not have the ability to configure. If these area had configuration ability it would be great. The overall application has tons of customization and configuration ability but those few small areas that don't really should be inline with all the other areas.

Bullhorn has set the bar high for CRM - GREAT!

Bullhorn has been great to work with. The CRM is a CRM for people who want to develop, maintain, and manage relationships with clients and candidates. The Bullhorn staff is always coming up with new and innovative ideas. The company does not sit still. They are attempting to do more, integrate more, and combine the interesting reality of automation and personal relationships.

Avantages

The features of Bullhorn are excellent. The fields that can be customized and arranged per the user, the way work flow is presented and managed. The search tools are great. The task list and tearsheets are helpful.

Inconvénients

The only con I can think of is the mass email function. When recipients get an email from a mass email, it might have "bullhorn" in the "from" portion of the email. Not too big of a deal, especially if you don't send mass messages

Amazing

Overall, I recommend using this if we need to enter the candidates and requisitions, in order to keep in touch with the candidates. Not a very helpful tool when it comes to built-in scheduling but we can still send out emails and communicate. I would use it to maintain a candidate database/inventory.

Avantages

I used Bullhorn for almost 4 years. I love Bullhorn to maintain my talent pool and inventory. This is a great way of saving candidate Data and then accessing it whenever we need it. I can't even explain how much this has made my life easier in terms of searching for talent in the Bullhorn database if I am ever stuck and not able to find a candidate through any of the job boards. with just a could of searches, we can find a candidate we maybe spoke to 3 years ago who might be a good fit for a specific role. A great way to use and maintain data. A very good tool to generate reports as well/

Inconvénients

Not a very good ATS system. Doesn't give us the flexibility of scheduling candidates too much.

My experience with Bullhorn ATS

overall my experience was not good kind of average i used Ceipal and Jobdiva which is more user friendly

I like the usability of the product provide the best experience in terms of tracking, searching , updating, and many more with great UI and work great on chrome but there are many things which makes recruitments very uneasy and long process to upload a consultant on portal.

Inconvénients

verification of vendor, creating job, and less usable filter can make recruitment process much easy and less time taking

Bullhorn review

My overall experience with BH has been good. I suggest that each company create an outline of what they want the system to do and what they want out of it, then customize it to get out of it what you need.

Avantages

I really like the to really customize the software for each companies specific weants & needs.

Inconvénients

I always felt the ability to search out specific candidates was lacking but that may be more of how my company used the system. You really need to put a lot of information in about each candidate in order to really get the full benefit of searching for specific candidates.

Bullhorn Review

Bullhorn has been helpful for day to day business and I'd recommend it to anyone who works for a staffing/recruiting type company.

Avantages

Bullhorn pulls candidates from job boards for us and allows us to move the candidates to eRecruiter easily. As a staffing company, it is very useful and makes our jobs easier so that we can get in touch with real candidates faster than ever.

Inconvénients

Occasionally, it will pull information and put it in the wrong place. It is east to catch but does slow down the process.

Recruiting Made Simple

Overall this is a great tool for any recruiter and will keep them on top of their numbers and give them the functionality they need to get their job done.

Avantages

Bullhorn was the easiest software I've used in Recruiting. I like it's ability to track and log activity and it's ease of reporting. I know what my call count is at all times and the number of calls I need to make to hit my number. The reminders are extremely helpful as well.

Inconvénients

I have no complaints about the software. I feel that it could improve it's user interface and make it a little more user friendly.

A Recruiter's Bestfriend

Candidate management has always been a struggle for us but Bullhorn does a wonderful job in helping recruiters succeed on our daily tasks.

Avantages

I've been using Bullhorn CRM for over two years now and I can definitely say that this is the best applicant tracking system ever. A user-friendly interface, the ability to add tasks and tear sheets. Not to mention that it also has a texting feature which is awesome.

Inconvénients

I do not have any issues with the software. My Bullhorn usage has always been smooth-sailing and I have not encountered any problems with it.

Connect to Bullhorn and Get to the next level of CRM

It is one of the best CRM I have ever seen in my life. In today’s Business-to-Business (B2B), the communication isn’t limited to 1 on 1 conversation, it is now converted from one team to another team. So we are unable to record all the conversation, that’s why a concept had been aroused in form of Bullhorn so that we are able to record all the important information during conversations. It is very easy to use and is very efficient in its working. Variety of functions can be found here, mainly for searching and sorting information and for reporting data as well. The reason why I said it be one of the best it is just because it offers best customer service in the industry as well as get updates in every month. Here, you can post jobs easily and can set reminders. Lots of customization is also available here.

Inconvénients

Even though it is a great software, if it provides more flexibility on a mobile device then it would have been great. Another tremendous problem is that it is very costly i.e. not affordable for everyone even if one wishes. That’s the only thing in which it lags the most!! However, Timeouts in times of active workings is quite cumbersome, so that should also be improved. Moreover, it causes a lot of glitches like will throw you out if parsing or updating of resumes is not done properly. It also has some difficulties and issues regarding tracking multiple branches, reporting due to tracking issues and many more.

I work for an IT recruiting and solutions firm. Bullhorn is our ATS. Use it daily.

I previously worked for a large staffing firm - we had a homegrown system that stinked. it was slow - would always crash and really demotivated you to want to log information. Bullhorn fixes that - the software is easy to work with and it works how it should.

Avantages

How is links LinkedIn profiles to their pages within Bullhorn. And if I come across someone on linkedin - it tells me if they are in Bullhon.

Also like that I can see if people have been "prescreened" and then look at those notes.

Inconvénients

Logging of interviews - I don't like how it wants to send an invite for this.

Additionally - I don't like that currently when I log in (my credentials are saved) I have to log in 3 times for them to actually take.

Bullhorn ATS

Avantages

This ATS has everything! Its user interface is unbeatable. The ATS requires little to no training because it is so simple to use, but still has complex and detailed features. I am able to integrate Bullhorn with email, ring central, our video interview platform and various job boards so all work can be done on the system.

Inconvénients

The Jobs / Opportunities part can be a little repetitive and complex. But just something to get used to!

Excellent ATS System

Bullhorn is an excellent ATS system for recruiters, allowing for tracking of candidates and requirements through the entire hiring cycle. Bullhorn even allows for the ease of Resource Management with the ability to keep track of when projects are scheduled to end. The User Interface is very user friendly and intuitive. Configuring Bullhorn for the look and feel I want is also very simple. The functionality to be able to track emails to and from both candidates and hiring managers is a fantastic tool which helps in looking at history, both for future hires from hiring managers as well as to see interactions with candidates and employees in the past.

Best Applicant tracking system

Bullhorn is one of the main tools that we are using to track our candidates. It is also easy to use. One of the best tools I've used so far

Bullhorn for job seekers

Extremely helpful to matching the right people with the right jobs.

Avantages

As a business owner and resume writer, I work with recruiters every day. We work together with the Bullhorn Recruiting Software to ensure applicant resumes are written and formatted to pass through ATS systems as well as for tracking applicant skills, expertise and background work areas.

Inconvénients

It not necessarily difficult to use; however, it does take some study and use of regularly to learn the varying screens etc.

Expensive, but with good cause

Bullhorn automates a lot of our processes. It saves my recruiters time which saves my organization money.

Avantages

There is no better system for tracking candidates and recruiting in an internal database than Bullhorn. As long as you put in a lot of data on each candidate and appropriately link notes, there's no better platform to utilize for search.

Inconvénients

Setting things up takes some time. If you don't partner closely with the transition team, things are going to get lost in the shuffle.

Full cycle recruiting must haves!

Avantages

If you are doing end to end recruitment, Bullhorn is the best applicant tracking system for you! This software is very OC in tracking candidates progress from pre-screen stage to placement. It is very detailed oriented in terms of documentation. You can send sms and emails inside bullhorn. You can manage tearsheets - allows you to sort candidates of the same profile in a group. It stores resumes of candidates and allows you to do sourcing as well plus there is a built in job board that allows you to access careerbuilder and monster.

Inconvénients

Could have gone better if you can send sms more than 136 characters.
