Leadpages allows my team to create marketing landing pages for our clients. We have them fill out a form after clicking on an advertisement. Leadpages makes it really easy to stay organized and sort though our numerous landing pages. The platform is fairly easy to use and very good user experience.

Inconvénients

This tool could use some form of tutorial and better customer service.

Leadpages is simple to use. It has a variety of templates that make set up easy. I have had this service for over 10 years. They offer the best price point and value in the industry.

Customer service is horrendous! After years of being a client, my company had an inactive account for over a year. While I was fully aware of the terms of service, I have to admit that I was extremely disappointed that they could not provide a refund. Even more disappointing was that they acknowledged they knew we had not logged in for over a year and couldn't make an exception. Leadpages has some great looking landing page and website templates. Out of all the web design tools ive used I think the templates from leadpages are the best looking. The software is fairly easy to use compared to similar programs.

They dont have many templates for video based pages which is strange similar software like groove.cm has lots of these. If you want a website with a blog this is difficult to due to leadpages design.

I have recently noticed that my account was charged for 444$ on 14th april 2023, but I never authorized or used your services since I signed up.I was not aware that the payment was set to automatically renew, and I was surprised to see the transaction today. Upon further investigation, I found out that the same amount was charged to my account last year without my knowledge.As a customer, I believe it is unfair to be charged for a service that I did not use or authorize. Leadpages Refunded by 444$ for 2023 but Refused 444$ for 2022.

It's easy to use & lightweight. I know this may sound silly, but it is FUN to use. I want to create new pages, because the templates are so beautiful and I always get inspired by what they have in the templates. I work online all day & I need software that is easy, and inspires me, Leadpages does that.

Honestly, I can't think of anything I do not like. I always wanted to use Leadpages, I even had an account in the past, but stopped using it, because I was not able to commit financially to the monthly payment. However, every single penny I pay for it has come back to me in new students, clients and leads since I started, so there is really no reason not to use it.

I find this software super easy to use and functional. It does what I need it to do and the more I use it, the more little tricks and design things I figure out that make my materials POP. I love the tool that examines the lead to give advice on what I can make better (the lead optimizer tool). That's super helpful and informative. I'm the only one on my team that uses leadpages. I feel like I get to get feedback on my materials before I go live with something. And I LOVE that I can easily refresh my updates/publish and I don't have to update a link anywhere. I can quickly make changes with push of a button!

Inconvénients

Sometimes I design a page and when I go to preview it, the aspect ratios have changed and I have to go back in and redesign. For instance, a header logo with some text below it may fit perfectly within the box at the top of the page. When I preview it, the logo/text doesn't optimize for the new window (like phone or tablet) and I have to keep resizing to figure out what will fit. To me there should be a standard width of frame that will auto-fix the size when changing to phone or tablet. It would be nice to also have more drag and drop functionality. Like that an image would fit ANYWHERE in a section I create (like wix or weebly does with their websites). Sometimes I have to do a lot of pre-design art work when I'm creating something. And then it doesn't even allow for a text box to fit where I want it to.

I have been using LeadPages since it began. In that time I've tried just about every other system out there and we continue to rely on LeadPages for rapid page creation. We find the existing templates have good conversion rates, are easy to set up and it takes virtually no time to go from idea to execution.

Inconvénients

The ease of use does create some limitations. We find it hard to get pixel level control when we really need to tweak a design to fit in with other assets. This usually isn't a major problem though.

Very well converting, easy-to-use page builder. Connects to our CRM very well. Custom branding is totally in our control. Stable - doesn't tend to glitch like some I've used. Sticky bars/extra features are nice to include. Fields can be mapped from URL data for advanced connections

Having to place my google tracking codes in EVERY page is annoying. Also lacks multi-step forms which we find to be more effective when we need to collect more than 2-3 fields of data. Took them until last month to include the ability to search your image library (finally can but like, come on that's basic). Pop-ups etc need to be placed individually on any page you want them, no site-wide rules or visitor behavior controls.

What I liked the most were the templates, the ease of publication, the easy editing and the a/b test.

What I liked least was that in some things although you should be able to do them, the modification of templates failed, the gallery seemed good but limited.

My favorite thing about Leadpages is that the product is always being updated with new, helpful features. Since the reorganization of the dashboard, it is very user friendly and intuitive. For the most part, all of the major functional features I need to make high converting pages are there. I love how easy integrations are, and I absolutely LOVE that I can copy sections, use section templates and easily alter page templates to my liking.

Inconvénients

I have been saying for years now that there needs to be more functionality for images. An on page image resizer would be fantastic. It would also be very helpful to be able to insert image carousels. I would also love to see a separate mobile builder. Design is very important when it comes to conversions, and I think some of the most wanted features are missing.

I started using LeadPages years ago and I can say that, despite the updates and new additions to the platform, the one thing I like the most about the platform is still very much present: its ease of use.

You can use LeadPages to create different types of webpages (landing pages, sales pages, webinar registration pages, Thank You pages, etc.), as well as other assets such as signup forms and alert banners.

The best part? You don't need to be a programming wizard to make it happen!

LeadPages has plenty of templates you can load and quickly customize so that they fit your branding and the page end up looking and doing how you'd want it to look and do.

Plus, it integrates with platforms like WordPress, which means that what you create on LeadPages can be easily added to your own website – and looks great on mobile devices too.

Using templates is great but that can lead to the pages you have created with LeadPages look just like those created and used by others – something that isn't ideal, when it comes to branding...

My favorite part about Leadpages is that it helps you get things up & running quickly.

Leadpages has tons of ready-to-use templates which are geared toward online businesses. So, whether you are looking for Lead Generation Templates, Sales Pages, Thank You Pages, or even 404 pages; they have templates for all. This makes creating pages easier, as you kind of the base demo copy in the page template as well.

Another thing I like is, that you can push UTM code data to your CRM integration (e.g. Keap) using field mapping when creating opt-in forms in Leadpages.

There is nothing that I dislike about Leadpages.

It's a high quality, reasonably priced landing page and website builder, packed with features and quite flexible compared to competitors.

Wish there were a few more features that competitors have such as image carousels, custom fonts and the image gallery and preview loading times could be improved aa they are quite slow.

It has affiliate program, so you may be able to refer someone and have it pay for itself.
Includes good tutorials and internet marketing knowledge.

Leadpages stayed behind competition. A few other apps offer much more now for less price.
Monthly payments are disliked by me, the pricing could be more related to traffic numbers. Even then there are solutions that offer same features for one time payment.

Leadpages has a very unique drag and drop editor and multiple customization templates. It has a amazing value proposition and plethora of publishing options. It comes to navigation I consider Leadpages one of the best because it has very simple to use navigations with intuitive design and fair pricing model to choose from.

I love the ease of being able to create landing pages quickly and effectively. We have been able to increase our yearly sales on Facebook over 400% using Leadpages and Drip. I use the drag and drop builder on a daily basis and love the ease of being about to switch things and test new things at the drop of a hat. Their customer support is off the chains as well. Any time I have questions they are more than happy to help, check out our lead pages and offer suggestions, and make sure we are getting the best experience possible.

While the software is amazing, the price is hard on small budgets. Especially considering that most places that use Leadpages are small business owners.

The best feature of Leadpages is the ease of use. People without really any knowledge about web development or landing pages could get one up and running within the first day/week of using this software. With the big template library you can surely find a landing page that fits your needs.

Leadpages gets the job done quickly and easily. Best beginner landing page builder in my opinion.

The only con I really have for Leadpages is that you don't have that much design freedom.

For a beginners and someone that aims to create a simple landing page this is awesome. But for more advanced users and page builders as myself I sometimes miss some features that make my design come to life.

The product is easy to use. Leadpages integrates with my business and is able to keep up with the growing demands of running and online business. It is easy to integrate with Facebook Pixel and Google Analytics and I appreciate that they are always updating their service.

Inconvénients

I think the fact that you can only integrate with Stripe when it comes to creating a checkout pages has really limited my using this feature to sell products. I would like to see them integrate with Shopify one day.

Sendlane didn't have updated features like Leadpages. The customer service wasn't as knowledgeable as leadpages and I feel like leadpages cares about keeping things up and running for my business and that means a lot!

I thought Leadpages was the easiest and more seamless when it comes to creating landing pages that convert for my business. They are also the less expensive of the two for me budget wise.

Avantages

I was a reluctant LeadPages customer in 2014, but it turned out to be a great purchase. Within 3 months, my email list had tripled. Within 12 months, it had 12x'd. It was a big inflection point for my business.

I like the pre-built templates (always easier than starting from scratch), and how fast it is to build pages. There have been a few issues of down time, but overall it's very reliable. I recently started testing the countdown timer and Stripe integration, which has been a cool new way to sell digital products.

Inconvénients

Mainly the price. I'm always tempted by other landing page builders on AppSumo, but at this point LeadPages has the SaaS tentacles wrapped around me pretty tight. It would take a lot of work to undo it and switch to another tool.

I love how fresh the design is, how simple it is to use and how flexible is it to use on and with so many other platforms. Have a WordPress site? use the plugin. Have another cloud platform? There's a good chance you can embed the HTML and have your pages show up over there (I know I do this successfully with Teachable). The page designs are frequently updated and they're not just old marketing designs, they're built for conversions but they always look fresh and next-gen.

Inconvénients

The new drag and drop builder can get problem if you're building a big page like a sales page. This can often mean typing directly into the page lags and creates unwanted spelling mistakes by missing letters etc. This is my only main gripe with the platform.

Intuitive interface - much easier than other Landing Page creation tools. I appreciate the depth of features and functionality for basic marketing and informational pages.

Sometimes there are intuitive disconnects with spacing, section sizing, ability to adjust image sizes, etc.

The recent integration with Zapier is something I have been begging them to do since 2013. Now that it is an integration, I use the feature 50 times a day between my accounts and client accounts. LeadDigits has been my long-time favorite feature. The WordPress blog plugin is also a top feature.

LeadPages were the first to focus on speed, the first to introduce sms optin, and the first in many features all their competitors have or are adopting. And we've used them for years. Until we found the design limitation and the focus on marketing look too limiting a factor. Because people don't want to be marketed to, but want to be informed about. with LeadPages all the landing pages look like a marketing collateral, and the changes are hard to make. and limited too. Making it almost impossible to have something that people actually want to read, watch or listen to. Instead of being forced by the same old FOMO tactics used by many, but not working anymore.

Inconvénients

All the pages made with LeadPages look the same. You can spot on of theirs a mile away. And they all look like what marketers would do (which creates resistance form visitors) instead of looking like high value articles & blogs (that remove friction form users).

Loved how easy it is to create landing pages that are streamlined, beautiful, and mobile-optimized. Sometimes sales page software (or email opt-in boxes) look clunky or it's hard to put together something professional looking. Not the case with Leadpages.

Inconvénients

I used pages for about 2 years and it integrated beautifully with my website and email platform. Then I switched email platforms to one that has landing pages included. So I don't really have any complaints about Leadpages, just that it was one more thing to attach (along with Zapier) to my email and website and it seemed simpler to go without it. That doesn't mean my landing pages are nice as they used to be, though :)

It's fairly intuitive platform to use, most of the time. You will run into needing help and the knowledge desk is very good at step by step guidance.

I can't understand why I don't have the capacity to edit the lead list. We'll use our own emails to test pages and then those leads are stuck on the list forever. I want the ability to edit that list as we grow. I've asked the company about this and they've never explained why they do this way.

Leadpages got us up and running, delivering lead magnets in a very short amount of time. Within minutes you can create your first item, and that saved time and money over hiring a third party to develop a custom solution.

Inconvénients

I wish there was better organization of the lead magnets themselves. We have hundreds of items now and it is extremely tedious to go through each one if we need to make a change. There is also not an easy way to search and sort through to find "the one" you are looking for from the main list.

We use Leadpages to created dozens of individualized landing pages every day.... the application is extremely easy to use and navigate and the results are professional. It integrates perfectly with our other websites. Easy to use forms, opt-ins for events that are tracked and easy to export in excel format. Even the links retain our company's main URL.

Inconvénients

We upload TONS of photos and would love to see more of an image library of our own imports that we can organize. It would save tons of time on our end. Folders we can label with different types of images and branding tools, etc.

I like that it is easy to use. It is clutter free, unlike some other contendors in the space. They have several options and the interface is sleek to use no matter the plan you are on.
It is fast to create a site. They have a panel on the left when you edit your pages, which is not overstuffed at all. Making it a n easy to understand and to get going with within MINUTES. Like you can have a page up and running REALLY fast. Fastest builder I have used in over 10 years, so it is stripped for the un-necessary gadgets and apps.

Inconvénients

While the interface is good and the builder is fast, I guess the only thing I can say I kinda wanted MORE of, is the ability to create a full on website with my plan. With the "baby plan", not sure what it's called right now, you can create optin pages, mostly. If you go one plan up, you can add payment options and more bells and whistles.

LeadPages allows you to quickly create beautiful landing pages that really do convert. The interface is so user-friendly that you new high-conversion landing page will be ready quicker than you could ever expect!

Inconvénients

The only downside is that there is a limit to the customization due to the amount of widgets offered. Other page builders (plugins or WP themes) have tons of add ons you can use for countdown tickers, flip boxes, sophisticated galleries, etc.

Avantages

Very easy to use, competitively priced (with monthly and annual contract and payment plans), responsive support and attractively designed UIs. It's simple to pick up and start creating a page from the very first try. Easy to integrate with other platforms (especially Drip), with a drag and drop WYSIWYG editor and design options.

Inconvénients

If there was one thing I would ding it for, it would be that it doesn't have a surplus of options when you are designing your pages; they lean towards the minimalistic side. However, remember this is aimed at beginner to intermediate users. I think advanced users would might get frustrated at times and want a greater degree of control. Also, the WYSIWYG editor tends to create rather rigid pages, often with too much or too little negative space between elements and not a lot of obvious ways to control or edit that.

I’m not a coder, so I value the ability to create lead pages from scratch using the intuitive drag and drop system created by Lead Pages. Additionally, given that so much of our traffic is from mobile devices, I enjoy that Leadpages allows us to customize the page for desktop and mobile users. Finally, our Company uses Drip, and I like that Leadpages is integrated with the Drip CRM systems.

Inconvénients

Sometimes, especially during “busy” times during the day, the Lead Pages system will take a while to load. Additionally, there are some 3rd party apps (e.g. Kickoff Labs) that are not easily integrated with Leadpages.

The software is easy to integrate, It flat out works like a charm, the amount of value Leadpages provides is almost unbelievable.

Very intuitive interface, with many options to customize. Also, on those rare occasions when a solution is not instantly obvious (my 'duh' moments!), Leadpages SUPPORT is spot-on with rapid response. Leadpages is one of the most valued tools in my small business arsenal.

(Very) Occasionally I may get stumped on an integration or other tech issue. In those instances, Leadpages SUPPORT is right there and ready to walk me through whatever I'm overlooking.

I would highly recommend Leadpages to all those looking for a digital tool to help them with building a landing page, popup forms, alter bars and more!

The Leadpages template library is my favorite feature because it's an excellent way to give the page a feel and look I would like it to have. There seems to be pretty much a template for each circumstance, which is a very good thing to know.

Templates are amazing and should be customized... othewise, the webpage built by user A is going to look pretty much the same, from an aesthetic point of view, as that of user B. After having used Leadpages for a while, you are going to start to recognize a specific template being created by someone else

What I like most about LeadPages is that it integrates with tons of other applications. It's easy to use and I can build professional-looking landing pages quickly. Also, In addition to landing pages, I can build pop-ups, trackable phone numbers, and other call-to-action items to increase conversions as well.

What I like least about LeadPages is that it needs to be partnered with a CRM in order to be fully useful. You can use Drip (an email automation tool from the makers of LeadPages), Constant Contact, Aweber, or whatever, but you have to pair it.

Avantages

Leadpages allow you to connect unlimited domains, so you are able to host unlimited websites, so to say. That makes it quite useful for people with several ventures that need landing pages for several domains.

The editor interface is not difficult to use and it allows you to customize the content in the page to an acceptable degree. You can save Page colors to be able to reuse them over the page, avoiding inconsistency. Their new Checkout form is easy to use and provides a really fast way to accept credit card payments, small merchants would love this.

Inconvénients

Leadpages interfaces was often buggy, saving the changes sometimes failed and the Leadmeter is sometimes failing to guess properly, giving frequent hints on things that shouldn't decrease the ability of the page to generate leads.

The AB testing was a good idea, is easy to use but when I decided the winner between the two I lost all the analytics from the old page, sometimes showing the number but unable to access the reports. I found that the analytics are often misleading, counting clicks as conversion making the revenue reports not accurate.

Integrations with third-party services were also failing sometimes. Overall I think the system needs more work in the engineering to make it more robust and stable.

I am able to integrate it with my email service, the price was at a very great point for me, and it is very easy to use!

Inconvénients

I cannot really think of any cons right now. I did have a few questions about integrating it with mailchimp, but I was able to work around that with support‘s help.

Their templates aren't customizable enough, and their builder for making your own from scratch is clunky & slow.

Before Leadpages, if I needed a landing page—especially one that was built as such to convert leads—I would have had to go to my web developer and get in his queue. That would take as long as a week. Now, I can pop one out in less than an hour and have it integrate with my CRM without any help from anyone else.

Once you understand the platform's structure and how it works, it's pretty easy. There were some frustrating moments in the beginning from not immeditaly understanding how things worked.

The drag and drop templates are easy to use and visually appealing. I used leadpages often for hosting webinars, live classes, and opt in forms off my website. It worked for what I needed; however, I ended up cancelling.

Inconvénients

It's very expensive for what the features are, considering I can do a lot of what I need on my own website or within my email marketing system. I often didn't like traffic being directed off my site for things, however, I guess with large volume traffic this could be necessary. I've since cancelled and host everything I need through my own site, email marketer, or online course platform.

I like everything about it, you can create a landing page in no time, it's all drag and drop and you have many options. I used it for a long time and it done wonders for me. I love the platform.

I would love if I could get more options for the drag and drop and more templates, so I could edit it a bit more than I have done in the past.

There's almost nothing you can't do with Leadpages. Landing page? check. Build your website? Check. Integrate your facebook ads? Check. Usability skews more toward the team plans, and it's not cheap, but it's a solid product that's made by people who are still innovating rather than getting complacent.

Inconvénients

Most of the templates are kind of mid 2000s looking, and the custom builder is awkward. You're limited with what widgets can go where, so you can't just design whatever you imagine.

It would be awesome if they allowed marketing via sms. I know they have signups and maybe this would be an e-mail host thing Notre that I think about it. So no cons. 🙂
