Overall Solid Product

Nice help desk app
Very nice help desk and live chat tool. Customizations were easy to implement.
Avantages
Overall, this is an excellent support service and provides multiple features that a company needs to manage a large customer base and track tickets and complaints on the fly.
Inconvénients
Seems a bit expensive when comparing it with other tools. Especially for basic usage of the product.

Zen as a Service
I'm actually on the outskirts of using Zendesk. IT uses it actively, whereas I only use it every now and then when a Marketing request comes through. I love it b/c it's easy to see the request and then update it after I've resolved it.

Zendesk was a great solution for dealing with our customer support issues. Tons of features. Sometimes it can be a little difficult to figure out how to setup and customize the different triggers but overall it does quite a good job.

Quality Service
I've used zendesk on both ends and it's very reliable. Easy to use, straightforward, and reliable. We don't use it on the scale of companies managing 1000+ CS issues/tickets a day, but I believe that it would easily scale.

Bad product, hard to use
Zendesk is difficult to use, badly coded and has slow and inefficient support. Don't rely on their support! I had account there for 6 months and I had to send them 20 emails to fix something for me. Highly not recommended.

Works as Expected with minor bugs
Avantages
I like how Zendesk Chat is integrated into Zendesk software so chats create a ticket, and a rep can easily follow up with a customer post chat via email. Set up is simple and easy, and overall cost is low with an existing Zendesk subscriptions.
Inconvénients
My only complaint is that agents have received chats when offline occasionally.

Zendesk lost 2 days worth of tickets:((
ZenDesk stopped service without because of glitch on their end so I end up with 2 day of tickets LOST! As result bad customer reviews. Zendesk agent refused to offer any compensation! Very frustrating.

Perfect fit for our needs
We needed to not only manage support tickets, but have something that integrated with our CRM, software service we provide to customers, and that could house a learning center. Found it all in Zendesk.

Started this, thinking this might be helpful, but didn't have a seamless integration.
If it was a bit more seamless and had the ability to integrate better it would be most helpful in our business.
Avantages
I liked the idea of the process that customer service requests could go through with this software but it fell flat.
Inconvénients
The emails were a bit messy looking, as a customer I might would have been a bit confused if anyone received my message or what was going on.

What I like most about ZenDesk is the seamless integration and the fact that it is accessible on iOS and Android. Zendesk is also highly customizable which is great because I service clients in various industries.
Inconvénients
Although highly customizable, branding can be an issue for some of my clients. Reporting function also needs to be amped up a bit.

I have had some issues with not getting notified of chats coming in. Also sometimes if I do not log off it doesnt time out on me which I think it should after a certain time.

I liked how easy it was to set up the help center.
Inconvénients
At the time, the program did not allow for multiple help centers. This alone led us to abandon it. Our company needs a help center for administrators and one for program participants, and the two must remain separate. We had to choose a different company in order to get that.
