The difference between the free and paid versions is how fast you'll know about the downtime, e.g. free is I belive in 5 minutes and the paid one is instantly

i like and use Uptimerobot free tire for over 2 years and has always been my uptime reporter. I rely on it and its email alert to take action if some node/website is unreachable.i will continue and recommend using Uptimerobot.another great thing Uptimerobot is an easy to use API... you can really set and change monitoring as your needs require.

Would be nice to have history export, downtime logs.

Couldn't find a way to export data to make customizable graphs and custom period uptime in the free plan, but it's possible in the paid subscription, they also reduced the amount of alert contacts in the free version to only 1.

Its free version is just awesome i use it for monitoring my server and its uptime information whenever my server gets down it sends an alert and after the recovery, it sends a proper message with downtime information too.

It sends alerts in the multiple of 5 or 10 mins due to that uptime information will be get in multiple of 5 even though server it up 2 mins ago

Uptime Robot allows me to easily setup monitors for my online services and websites and it will notify me if there is any unexpected downtime. The has worked flawlessly for me for years and has saved me many a time. The reports look great and I have made them available to my users directly so they can see a 90 day history plus break downs into 30 and 7 days and 24 hours.

Inconvénients

I have been able to use the free version for years and have not needed to upgrade yet. You may though if you need to authenticate or setup a more complex monitor. Paying also allows you to have very fast checks for uptime (I think every second) and also have a custom domain on your status reports.

I tried a lot of services for monitoring the uptime of websites and servers and Uptimerobot is most optimal. A lot of configurations and settings.

Mobile app not so good as the web version.

I can create up to 50 website/port monitors for free and a decent public status page.

Inconvénients

It lacks incident management for showing scheduled maintenance and important updates to the current system issues on the public status page.

Ease of configuring is key feature. HTTP/S header responses keep me updated for if any change that may have changed by hacker. Page checksum is yet another fine feature keep the page integrity intact.

I've beep using this service for more than 8 years and am now addicted to it.

The best thing I like about uptimerobot is that we can track or monitor different things in different websites with ease. I sometimes uses this platform to track products which are out of stock in e-commerce website so that when they are in stock I can buy them easily.

The platform is good but if you are using it for the first time you might feel it's a bit hard to setup.
