Curate has saved me so much time and has made my business profit
I love Curate. Because of Curate, I now know exactly how much of a profit I am pulling from each and every event I take on. The "shopping list" feature makes my communication with the flower wholesalers more efficient and the "recipe" feature makes it easier for me to create my arrangements once the products have arrived.
Avantages
Curate makes my life so much easier. I used to spend hours pulling pricing for individual floral pieces and putting together estimates for clients. Curate does all of the hard work for me by pulling integrated pricing, creating beautiful proposals, and accepting payments.
Inconvénients
Curates "uploading" feature for images can be a little off sometimes. I have a hard time locating images that I have uploaded or Curate makes new folders and files the images elsewhere.

Finally! Software really designed for florists who do weddings & events!
I have been searching for 3-4 years for software that actually has the functionality wedding and event florists need! Especially the ability for the software to allow you to create individual recipes for each item of the wedding, keeping track of each stem, hard good, and rental item and tracking how many stems overall you have and how that relates to your stems per bunch count. The headache of doing this manually within excel with it's potential for error and the amount of time it took to do that step and then either use word, or another online system to create the proposal, (I had started using Honeybook to generate and track my proposals) was making me want to quit doing weddings!
This software allows you to do both in one step and generate nice looking proposals for your brides. Like all software these days it is continually under development, and it doesn't have some of the bells and whistles yet that Honeybook did for communicating and tracking your proposal and payment, but the absolute fundamental functionally that I so desperately needed is there! What a relief and a godsend. I can't believe this didn't exist in the market before. It took the husband of a florist to finally develop the software.
Overall I really like the software and feel confident that they will continue to add more and more functionality and make it better and better over time. I still don't like doing proposals, but they don't make me feel like I want to quit doing weddings anymore! I like the software so much, that I now use it to generate all the recipes for my studio as it gives me a shopping list at the end too, which super handy! If you are wavering about signing up and you are a wedding and event florist, this is the one that actually has the functionality you need!

Avantages
This product has changed how we do business! Our operation is so much more streamlined and we have far less waste. I cannot believe we operated without Ularas for so many years!
Inconvénients
The back end takes a while to set up (mostly floral library) but it is WELL worth the time investment.

Yes... the customization of the flower library is the most painful part but so good for margins and ordering. Thanks for doing the homework necessary to make it work for you! As you know, there's no such thing as 'average pricing' in this business. Not if you want to have solid margin management!

How to charge my clients correctly.
Avantages
I really liked how easy the program was and how fast my turnover time is for proposals. The faster I am able to communicate with clients the better and also helps create more time in my personal life. The pricing calculator is also really helpful and saves time as well. My profit's have also increased!
Inconvénients
At first the photos I was uploading would take a decent amount of time to fully upload.

Curate Rocks
The overall experience with curate has been great. I've been with the company for a while and you've done a great job in updating the software, making it easier on us. The customer support is a also a tremendous plus. Any question or concern I've had has been addressed and it a very timely manner. It's also great to have a company listen to the customers feedback and suggestions on what might be great to be added.
Avantages
This software gives me the ability to quickly develop a proposal, even when I'm in the middle of a consultation with a client.
Inconvénients
There aren't many drawbacks to the software at the current moment. It is meeting all of my needs at this time.

Efficient and Easy
This program has increased efficiency greatly. I've also drastically reduced the amount of paper I use to prepare proposals.
Avantages
I have enjoyed using a program that lets me do almost all of the work and planning needed for an event in one place. Curate has really simplified the proposal process.
Inconvénients
As with most programs, there are occasional glitches but they seem to be becoming few and far between and customer service is very quick and responsive and any issues are resolved almost immediately

Love this program!
Ease of use and making weddings less of a dreaded task.
Avantages
I have been using this program for less then a month and can already see the impact it will/is having on our business! Its super easy to send proposals and make changes when needed without having to redo it. This is a game changer for us! Their customer service is amazing too! They always respond and its faster then I even expect. I love the clean layout for proposals and the ability to create recipes and add photos. This makes it way easier for our team to all be on the same page with each bride. You can even create a proposal from your phone, which is super nice for those times you cant access your desktop but need to respond to a bride. Amazing!
Inconvénients
Maybe someway to add team calendars/notification where you can tell your team when weddings get booked. This would be helpful for us to keep everyone on the same page especially for those big weddings when everyone needs to be there. A team side would also be helpful for when you have booked a bridal consultation. Just one more way to keep everyone on the same page with each new bride/wedding.

Inconvénients
I had an issue with a client entry that does business with me on a personal leave and a business level. It gets billed to two separate addresses. But the software would not let me duplicate the entry with the same email but different street address. I have to adjust every time I invoice.

NOT TOO MUCH FUNCTIONALITY BEYOND THAT. IMPUTING FLOWERS WOULD TAKE TOO LONG ALONG WITH OTHER INVENTORY.

And customizing the flower library... yes, it does take some time but ultimately makes to the penny margin management possible and highly valuable. Are you using the export/import tool to minimize the data entry time?

Can’t live without Curate!!!
Love everything! Covid weddings have been absoloute stress and endless changes. Curate has kept me organized and on budget with designing wedding florals.
Avantages
As a business owner that does everything, the wedding floral consults, ordering, designing, etc, I would be completely lost without Curate. I used to second guess my notes in my scribbler all of the time, now everything is up to date with the bride and groom also seeing the latest updates and pricing.
Inconvénients
A communication app…I still have brides talking to me via Instagram messenger, Facebook messenger, email, texting…I wish curate had its own chat area linked to that brides proposal.

The customer service has been excellent! I always get my questions answered in a timely and professional manner.

When I started using this software, I felt like a true professional with the ability to present my clients with high quality floral proposals! I love the built in feature for payments from the clients. So many aspects of this software made it a game changer for my business!

I am not using a lot of the features, but I know I could take some time to learn more. I don't use the recipe feature, mainly because I don't order from [SENSITIVE CONTENT]. I find their ordering process just doesn't fit my needs.

I love how the inquiries come in, and keep us organized as to who we have talk to you and can convert to customers. I also love that the proposals look professional and can't be as detailed or vague. I also like the way events can be combined so I can order efficiently.
Inconvénients
Sometimes there are weird glitches. Too many random ones to explain. I know that many people like the new upgraded version, I liked the older version plus now it's REALLY hard to use it on my iPhone.

I have been extremely pleased with Ularas. Love this product!
Ularas allows me to create fully customizable, professional looking proposals, which has improved my business presence. Having everything organized and consolidated into one system, accessible from my mobile device as well as my notebook, is a great asset. I have better control of ordering now, as Ularas combines all recipes in an event and creates a total order, based on those quantities, which leads to far less over-ordering on my part, which in turn, means greater profitability.

It also provides a complete system of tracking events, creating and storing recipes, ordering product, emailing, and archiving past events. Ularas also incorporates a payment system, making it easy for clients to make payments on their account.They are extremely open to suggestions and are constantly adding new features.

I love having a place to keep ALL my wedding and event orders organized! They can be changed and updated in real time. I'm not great at tech, but it seems user friendly and I'm getting the hang of it quicker than I thought I would. I love being able to send clients professional proposals instead of scrapping together an email and having paper copies of everything. I love that other team members can access file easily if I'm not there.

I have a couple of different mechanisms in place to handle seasonal pricing fluctuations and vendor pricing. When you have time we can spend a few minutes going through how to easiest and most accurately handle those.
The next step after accurate recipes is margin management which is life changing if you're not already using it.

Wedding Quotes Made MUCH Easier with Curate
This has definitely helped with quotes for weddings! It's easy to make corrections and the shopping list is great when ordering for events.

I like having the prices in the system so that you can pull your items into the quotes with the prices. The software helps insure that we are charging enough and not guessing at what should be charged.

I have been using Curate since it was first release. The customer support is great and there are not enough great things that I can say about it. It has simplified my quoting process and improved my consultations and the look of my proposals.

Stemcounter has absolutely revolutionized our company. We have a small event floral business and not a lot of room for wasted time and energy. Stemcounter takes up all the tedious tasks that I personally had to do and automates them. I feel so organized!

I absolutely love this product and it is helping to keep my business on track.

It allows me to customize professional looking proposals with ease. It helps control my cost of goods so my business is profitable. You listen to feedback and implement it into your software.
Inconvénients
It is slow and can be a little glitchy. But generally if I walk away for 15 minutes and reopen it, it works. There are some features I would like more flexibility with- customizing flower order quantities etc.

My overall experience with Curate has been very positive. I recommend this product to anyone . . . . small or large businesses.

Inconvénients
Although the software has many impressive features available, I find that the necessary steps to take in order to implement any of the features are not intuitive. But then I am NOT technically inclined at all and that's where having access to Curate support is so valuable. They're responsive, patient and helpful. I do most of my proposals at night so it would be really helpful if Curate support was available after hours - say until 8:00 or 9:00 pm.

Saving time and money, what more could you ask for?
Avantages
The time it has saved me! Recipes are a snap. And ordering, well how wonderful it is that you can click items to add to a vendor and then email them your list. Love it!
Inconvénients
That I can't use it for my daily orders too. It's a bit too cumbersome for a quick and easy order entry for single orders.

This software is great to work with. I run my daily activities with this software. So it’s a great software for Event planners and designer. I’m able to keep contracts, Floral orders and more all in one location. I love that it sends my clients reminders regarding their payments and I don’t have to think twice about it. From contracts, to recipes and shopping lists this program does it all. I have been able to gain back precious time and be more organized too. The recipes are amazing and have allowed me to hand a piece of paper to a high school student who can then gather the materials and created a finished product on their own. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this software. It has been a lifesaver for me!
Inconvénients
I would love to see more added to the flower library...pictures for all of the items in the library and new items added as they become more common in the market. I'd also like to see common hardgoods added to the library.

This software is a total game changer! It does everything for me. It takes all of the guesswork out of how much to order, pricing, everything.

The credit card fee, we often need to add credit card fees after we book the job, and have to do it manually.

New to the program, love it but still has a way to go for full functionality
New to the program - signed up in October. I am also new to the floral industry so I am a good "test" subject! I like the software overall but there still things that could be added to make it much more user-friendly.... A few examples are...
1. Integrate with QB - I have to double enter any payments made from a Steam counter invoice into QB in order to account for sales properly.
2. Would like to "name" deposits vs just assigning a date - i.e. "save the date" deposit, "50% deposit" etc...
3. Should include place for Grooms Name when entering new customer info
4. Would be nice for stem counter to create a recipe for you based on input of flowers being used and the overall budget for the arrangement - i.e. fill in the number of specific blooms needed based on price per bloom and overall budget
5. Would like a more consolidated, printable version for back office printing
6. Love the idea of the ability for clients to electronically sign and execute a contract from their mobile device rather than print, sign and scan the signed Steam counter proposal...
Avantages
Love the ease of totally arrangement costs once you have a solid "master list" of flowers.
Inconvénients
The inability to integrate with Quickbooks.

Easy to use and Integrate
Overall, this is a great produce and software.
Avantages
The product allows for you to do a lot, even on the lowest level. Making and sending proposals, marking clients as paid, adjusting numbers of items, etc. So many great things!
Inconvénients
I'm not totally sure how to answer this one right now. Overall, there isn't much I would change.

Helps me stay organized and have everything in once software.
Stayed organized and allowed me to not be responsible for credit card collection and record keeping.
Avantages
I love that I don't need to collect credit cards from my customers and they have option to enter that info themselves.
Inconvénients
It's hard to use at times for me but other than that it's a really great software. One thing I wish it had was a running total of all the weddings in the upcoming events.

Great Product
Customer Service is great - I use the chat feature every time I get stuck/have a question and they are SO quick to respond.
Avantages
I like that Curate is constantly making it a better program. They take feedback and are always putting out new updates!
Inconvénients
It would be nice if the proposal software offered some of the 'rentals' software - without having to double the costs. I have to manually enter photos/pricing for all the items I rent which is time consuming,

We Love Curate
They are extremely helpful and for the most part this app has changed our work flow and made it easier and more efficient.
Avantages
Curate has saved us a lot of time when it comes to order flowers for weddings since we have a place to trace recipes in advance. We love the professional look of our proposals and when we are having any issues with the program there is always someone from support on the chat so everything is quickly addressed.
Inconvénients
I wish that we could add full sized documents instead of thumbnails. We like to make our own moodboards because we don't love the pinterest style layout and it would make our proposals look even better if clients could see a full size moodboard in the document section instead of a thumbnail. I always worry they aren't going to see the tiny image there.

Avantages
It's super easy to use. I spend less time calculating costs of my business making it easier to complete proposals. With everything in one place my over all client experience has streamlined as well. My clients can easily access the proposal and reference it when needed.
Inconvénients
The "startup" plan only allows certain features that sometimes add a little more work. I submit all types of proposals and email templates are necessary to making me even more productive but I don't need most of the features that come with the "studio" plan.

Best investment in my Event Floral Business
Curate has been transformational for my business - the ease at delivering accurate proposal quickly is fantastic, and I love how easy it is to order the inventory for each week.

I would like to go back and delete duplicate rental/product items, but you need to do them one at a time, it be nice to do them in bulk

Great Investment in my Business!
My ordering has been made much more efficient. I have far less waste and make fewer mistakes because the system does all of the counting, multiplying and adding for me. The program definitely has saved me money and time.
Avantages
Looking at my year-end numbers, it was our best year yet and I have to say that it is largely thanks to Ularas. My COGS were the best ever and I was able to turn around proposals so much faster once I nailed down the system. Ordering was SO much easier. Hands down the smartest decision I made last year was to purchase Ularas.
Inconvénients
The mood board feature could be prettier and the flower library is a bit cumbersome.

So much goodness all in one place!
Avantages
This dynamic program has reinvented how our business works, allowing us to focus more on art and design and less on homemade spreadsheets and inaccurate numbers. I love that the creators are constantly adding features. It's great as-is, and only gets better with every new feature!

There aren't any features that we don't love about this software.

So glad I bought Ularas!
I am a one-woman band, and I wondered if Ularas would be worth it for me, being such a small business. I am so pleased I bought Ularas! I've only had it a year and it really has made proposals and management so much easier. I still have more to learn - I plan in the off season to learn how to do more with it, but I just wanted to say how impressed I've been - it's saved me tons of time and kept things so nicely organized! Thank you!

Easy to Use Floral Software
My overall experience has been wonderful, I can’t imgaine running my business without it!
Avantages
Curate is a great product, I originally signed up when it was stem counter. The functionality has greatly improved since I first joined and the customer service is really truly one of the best I have experienced as far as support goes.
Inconvénients
It’s a blessing and a curse that it does so much!! Haha, I feel like I am only using 1/2 of it sometimes! But that’s on me :).

Feeling confident on my pricing has been such a huge boost since I've subscribed to Ularas!
Individual pricing per stem in arrangements is a confidence booster and knowing my proposals are clean and professional when delivered to the end client.
Avantages
The client support has been fabulous and super responsive whenever I've had a crisis question or needed clarification.
Inconvénients
It's a bit complicated and I'm not sure I'd say the last few upgrades have been intuitive. If there's been an offseason and I have not used the software, it's a huge learning curve to catch up to the updates. Again, the intuitiveness of the software is lacking and needs improvement.

We find ourselves using Curate more and more. I really hope someday they create a point of sales system for daily flower shops so that we can fully integrate all of our business functions under one umbrella!
