The right fit at the right time

Working with Assessteam has been great! [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is always very quick to respond and usually able to help me with my questions in one email! If not he is there to answer my call!

I was not finding it user friendly in the beginning, but since really diving in and making up new evaluators and navigating around the system more I am really enjoying it. I like all the reporting and comparing tools that it provides.

Avantages

I am enjoying the breakdown reporting. It is not just one overall score or rating and it can be broken down into many different categories. Allows me to see how the team, the individual or component are doing at any given time.

Inconvénients

I had some user issues when first starting. There are components that are included but not described. However, our rep, [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is always there to help me and guide me to what I am looking to do!

Provides continuous feedback to improve employee performance and productivity.

Avantages

The simplicity and ease with which we can operate this tool is really amazing. The fact that it’s cloud based also just adds to its accessibility. Performance data can be easily generated and understood as they are presented in graphs sheets which are well-organized.
Being able to provide continuous feedback to our employees is essential for us to help them in their career growth and development. Assessing employee performance based on a combination of self-evaluation, peer, customer and other significant factors allows us to also make better decisions in terms of promotions and compensation.

Inconvénients

The mobile app has limited functionality, so I think definitely needs to be addressed. Other than that, we haven’t had any issue that the AssessTEAM wasn’t able to resolve. It’s easy to reach out to them for, and their response is always warm and friendly.

AssessTEAM Review

Our experience to date has been very good. We are continuing to investigate all of the tools to make sure getting the biggest benefit possible. Customer service has been very helpful in terms of answering questions and providing workarounds.

Avantages

AssessTEAM provides a platform of turnkey tools that for performance measurement and management with a fair amount of customization. As a small company, it is great to be able to be up and running quickly in these areas. We are still investigating all of the tools to make sure getting the biggest benefit possible.

Inconvénients

The downside of my comments in the Pros is that since we are still developing our performance measurement and management process, more customization would always beneficial.

Best Performance Evaluation Software for the price

It has been a great experience. They constantly check if we need help. The on boarding was very smooth.

Avantages

I like the Continuous Feedback and the fact that you can set up individual templates and set up periodical surveys.

Inconvénients

Nothing at this stage. All the features and look and feel has been fantastic.

Flexible and Easy to Use

We are benefiting from the opportunity to formalize our evaluation process and provide regular feedback to our team. Evaluations that are automatically generated are helping us stay on today of 30/60/90 day reviews.

Avantages

The software is easy to use and customize. We are an educational facility and, while we have benefited from some of the available templates, we have been able to thoroughly customize the software to meet our needs.

Inconvénients

Our organizational set up appears to be somewhat unique as we have managers supervising multiple teams and staff filling roles on multiple teams. We are unable to assign staff to multiple teams which is impacting our ability to analyze team performance.

Top Notch Service

The support that comes along with this amazing product is top notch! They are so engaged and responsive. If I ever have a question then they are super helpful even scheduling one on one time to make sure I completely understand.

Seamless and helpful productivity tool

Assessteam gives an all-round view of general - and project-specific - productivity and helps enormously with staff reviews.

Avantages

Easy to use yet offers comprehensive data and functionality. From time sheets to staff reviews, it is an all-in-one productivity and HR tool. It was easy to integrate into our system and the tech support is spot-on, helpful and efficient.

I can't think of anything now. We are still exploring it.

McGill, Power, Bell & Associates Review (Denise Semrad)

The use of AssessTeam for our annual performance review process has streamlined our process and added efficiencies for all of the staff.

Avantages

The product is easy to use and offers many functions that, unfortunately, we don't use. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is always very responsive with support and provides easy to understand instructions and advice.

Inconvénients

Some of the terminology is a little confusing but once you use the software, you become accustomed to it. I think our challenge is that we only use it once a year.

Very friendly and help sales/implementation staff.

Avantages

How easy it is to access/complete an evaluation through the link in an email. We also like the Monday motivators to remind our employees to complete their evaluations.

Inconvénients

Wish it was a little more customizable from a security set up stand point.

AssessTeam is Wonderful!

It has been great and the representatives are accessible and helpful.

Avantages

It is easy to use. It is allowing us to perform more meaningful evaluations and therefore asses the needs of the employees and organization. Also, various departments have been able to use the software.

Easy and allows for growth

Very pleased with my experience with this program. I got started right away, and there are numerous functions this software provides. Allows for growth of user and company; learn and use the components you need at that time.

Avantages

This product offers easy setup and usage. You will be able to start using this software immediately, there really is no learning curve. Offers so many options regarding employee time, profits, productivity and more. This software is so extensive, it will allow for growth in years to come. As you learn more, there are more functions you can explore. Evaluations are simple to do with this software.

Inconvénients

The mobile app doesn't work for all functions. I personally don't use the mobile app often, so it wasn't an issue for me but may be for those who do use mobile apps on a regular basis.

Teracode Review

We use the app to keep our Result Areas, send the evaluation forms to the people involved, and compare results.

Avantages

I like it's easy to use.
I like templates.
I like the Result Area management.
I like the exporting feature for reviews and how to compare them.

Inconvénients

Ad-Hoc reviews should use a description by default for everyone.
Templates are a good idea but it doesn't fit quite well with how our company works and the dynamic for team changes.

Good Value for the $ But Could Be Improved

This is a good option for small teams, as many assessment software's are only available/effective for large teams and are considerably more expensive. There are some things as I have mentioned above that could make it more user friendly. The support team has been very helpful.

Avantages

I like that it allows for 360 Reviews and that you can set up the frequency of evaluations.

Inconvénients

I feel like creating the assessments and reordering of questions/result areas within the assessments could be made easier by allowing a drag and drop feature rather than ordering by alphabetical/numerical indexing. I also don't like that each customer sent an evaluation adds to the # of paid users. Since they do not create accounts and are not being evaluated, it seems they should either be free or charged at a reduced rate than a staff member who utilizes all the features, especially because you can't guarantee that they will actually fill out the assessment. If you have a large customer base, your bill could escalate quickly if you choose to use this application for customer feedback.

Great for the Price

If you are Testing a Solution after google forms or Monkey Survey to make a Performance appraisal process customizable for fair Price, this is a very good alternative.

-Not flexible to edit final categories when you need to have a Calibration process or if you need to push back and edit if employees want to adjust something.
-Reporting little poor, with little more UX investiga the experience could be much better.

Implementation Success

The implementation team worked very closely with our contact from AssessTeam, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]. This relationship was critical to our company in making a decision to go with AssessTeam. We have not had the support needed in the past with other companies and decided NOT to move forward with those companies.

Avantages

The head of IT referred me to AssessTEAM. From the first point of contact, all my questions were answered and I realized that this is a company we could work with. The review of the product was excellent, it was easy to navigate once we implemented the trial and the customer support was above and beyond any company that we had approached.

Inconvénients

Since I was part of the implementation team and selection of the system, I was able to test the system easily. My team members did not have as much time to spend as I did. As such, I would like to have had a training manual for reference.

Avantages

How efficient are the performance reviews, in terms of creating profiles, sending the reviews, gathering data and generating final reports and comparison.

Inconvénients

The complexity of the steps at first however the support team is amazing and helpful. I reached out many times throughout the process and [sensitive content hidden] was there to help at every step and always ready to jump on a call when needed.

Good tool for non-profits

Annual reviews, performance evaluation.

Avantages

The product is easy to use and for a non-profit that does not have thousands to spend on a performance review system this is a great option.

Inconvénients

Definitely need to go through the training. It is not easy to just pick up and start using. Need to be able to see a proof of the review before it is launched.

Performance Reviews

Overall my experience has been good. Rajat has been so very helpful.

Avantages

Price is great, deployment was fast and easy, the continued support has been really amazing.

Inconvénients

That there isn't an email alert that goes out once the manager's assessment is completed.
It can be better in intuitively being able to create a new review.
There should be a step in between a manager's completion of a review so HR can review before it is deemed completed. HR should be able to kick it back for corrections.

Simple to use and easy to rollout

It took us a total of 3 days to rollout the system for 16 employees. The KRA database was very useful to build a foundation of our evaluation plan and the simple import routines got our employees setup quickly. Very little help was needed unlike the other systems I have tried , never saw a video or needed help

My overall experience has been great! The customer service team is phenomenal and has quickly assisted with any questions or issues that I had.

It was pretty easy to navigate around and assign reports. It was great to be able to upload a census from our benefit administration system so we did not have to manually enter all employees.

Inconvénients

When you forget to add someone to an initial evaluation, you have to create an entirely new template/record for them.

Mazars' review on AssessTeam

We have been using AssessTeam for around 6 months already. That helped us get rid of paper evaluations, systematize evaluation forms, easily collect complete evaluations in one place. We are still working on small adjustments, however, overall impression is positive.

Building a Performance Review process from scratch

The best part of AssessTeam is the support I received while setting this up for my company. I think [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] met with me at least 10 separate times via Google Meet to help me decide how I needed to set this up to best suit our needs. He has been SO patient (and kind) with me & did a lot of the set up on his end after explaining what I wanted to happen. He truly went above & beyond and I'm so thankful as we are in the middle of our first review & I'm getting great feedback from the team! Thank you, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]!!

Avantages

The ability to customize the process to exactly what we need, having continued support from the AssessTeam (specifically [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]) & a very clean/simple aesthetic.

Inconvénients

The process of setting things up isn't super intuitive for a non-technical person, but luckily they had excellent customer support!

Great Value!

This software is very basic and simple, which comes at a lot lower cost! This was exactly what we were looking for. Many other softwares out on the market come with many different complex features but those come at a high cost and we didn't want those features at this time anyway. AssessTeam was exactly what our team was looking for.

Avantages

I like the simplicity of the software. There are other options out there that have more features but make it more complicated to administer and use.

Inconvénients

I haven't used the software enough to make a statement of what I do not like about it yet.

New to the software but loving it so far

Thus far my experience has been incredibly positive. The customer support is outstanding.

Avantages

So far I have loved the customer service and support I have received as I evaluate the software and get things set-up. The ability to customize nearly everything is very important, especially as we transition from all paper to on-line evaluations. The price for the quality is exceptional (so far).

Inconvénients

I have not thus far encountered anything to give me pause or not recommend it. This will be our first year using it.

Easy to Use and Great Customer Support

I have nothing but great things to say about the team member I worked with. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], the business consultant that helped me provided a fantastic demo and not only answered all of my questions, but helped me get my team set up and made sure I fully understood how to use all of the software functionality to optimize my team's experience.

Avantages

Love the simplicity of the software, yet the high level of functionality. The system is easy to use, has a fantastic layout and provides all of the functions we need to manage team performance. I worked with one of the business consultants and he was friendly, patient and very thorough at explaining the software to me.

Inconvénients

I don't have anything negative to say about this software.

Inconvénients

Feedback reports should be more choices and also a channel to communicate via chat, rather than just email and book call.

Working with Assess team has been a please, They have been very helpful with our needs

Visibility of the information collected is great. Ease of use is also a driving factor when we select a new software. We have found if software is overly complicated it will not be utilized

Avantages

With over 300 employees, this system has given us the visibility to continue the growth of a stronger team. Before we had assess team the evaluation process was long and drawn out and produced information that was buried in files and never reviewed by the managers that needed to see the information.

Inconvénients

No real cons that we have found that the assess team didn't address immediately. The software has much more potential than we are currently using.

Great support

We get quick and good customer support from Rajat. He is always responsive and willing to help with all our questions. In addition, he is open to receiving our feedback so he can take that to the development team to improve the platform. We really appreciate his support.

The software is simple and is improving.

It does not have all the features and functionality yet but AssessTEAM is working on it.

On boarding with Manoj was a pleasurable experience and he a customer service super star!

Avantages

Features and functionality, as well as simple enough that we are can update and move out on our own. This is not related to the software but the service we received, after working with our Manoj over a couple of months he observed that we were in the wrong tier and recommended we downgrade at a loss to AssessTEAM, and we were blown away by that, and I told him we would do business with them for a long time as this reflected caring for the customer - a rarity today in service!

Inconvénients

Perhaps to consider a system in which RA could be updated, and for the users who have not taken the evaluation would be automatically updated, and for those that have, just port them for next reiteration/delivery. Regarding ratings, perhaps a way for the customer to update all evaluations without having to bother support to do this on the back end (for instance we changed our Likert scale for our RA's and wanted to apply it to ALL our evaluations). Support helped with these items, I say they are cons in that they were so great, I felt bad in asking for help with them...

A perfect fit for current and future needs !

Avantages

One of the main benefits is the overall customization options. It allowed us to tailor things specifically to what we were looking for. It also has the capability to handle changes we will need to make in the future as we continue to expand our performance management process. It was very easy to deploy to our management team. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is also extremely helpful and quick to respond.

Inconvénients

The software would be even better if the Admin team could log in as a manager or any other user and see things from their specific viewpoint.

Great product! Customization takes some time, but once completed it sames allot of time on all levels!!

Avantages

Online, real time and available on App for ease of Access.

Inconvénients

Email function does not always work. Support could resolve this matter, but it took some time and reoccurred.

Great tool for 360 feedback

Avantages

It's easy to configure and deploy. As an evaluator, it is very simple to use.

Inconvénients

As an evaluee, or even as an evaluator, it's not easy to see the score from multiple people about the same category. Most of the times, we end up exporting the evaluations and combine the CSVs. Also, it doesn't have a feature where the evaluee can see a single evaluation that shows an agreed score from multiple evaluators.

Good but if you can let customer to customize more, that might be better

Avantages

easy, very fast customer service. If it wasn't the rep, i dont think i was implementing the system.

Inconvénients

still have lots to improve, and many things i did not know in the first place, and i have to ask the rep to make changes
