Love this software

[SENSITIVE CONTENT] was amazing helping me on the phone today. Thank you for having such caring support techs!

Avantages

Customer service is always so helpful and they really assist you though each question you have. The software is very user friendly. I am super happy with the features and capabilities. All of my technicians use the software with ease, even if they are not tech savvy!

Inconvénients

The only two things I wish would be upgraded or changes the email marketing and being able to have the software as an app. Other than that, Love the program!

Glitchy!

Frustrating

Avantages

-You can customize it
-Support will usually get back to you within one day
-Reports are useful

Inconvénients

Glitchy, always having random pop-up errors that don't relate to anything that you have to ignore
Slow, we use this as a system to have students clock their hours,they always complain about it
We've had to learn tricks to get it to work they way we want to, avoiding pop ups, errors, etc.

I just love Meevo

Excellent! very helpful

Avantages

Well over all the experience is been great, a lot to learn but so many solutions to the business.
There is much more to learn I'm sure with time I can write a better review but what I love about meevo so far is How helpful is been on the back support, costumer care part, everyone that I have spoke with, they know what they are doing very knowledgeable technicians.

Booking, charging, organizing the business with meevo is been quite a Good Experience!

Salon & Spa Software

With change, there is always a lot of learning to do, but so far I have been able to figure out what I need or call support to assist.

Avantages

Switching from their desktop platform to their cloud platform has been great. It has allowed me to easily log in to assist users as well as to remotely pull the data I need without interrupting the front desk.

Inconvénients

MR040 report from Millennium is not in Meevo2, but I am working around that. The user guide is helpful, but it is not as organized as I would have liked.

Meevo 2 Review

We love the goal setting section! Also, that you can connect from anywhere using the same login and that all of our students can access without having to download an app.

Avantages

The support. There was lots of assistance during setup, the online training videos are fantastic, and ongoing webinars are helpful for all users of the software.

Inconvénients

Limited reporting in Central Office. Cannot see inventory on hands from all locations at once.

Best in class

As a franchise, we have had challenges with other software, but Meevo has helped us monitor each location, run reports, etc.

Avantages

Software is very easy to use. Our franchisees and staff love the functions and that it's cloud-based!
support is great!

Inconvénients

With any conversion to new software, there is a learning curve, but with Meevo it was easier than anticipated

Would Be Great If It Didn't Run so Slow!

My clients are saving money with Meevo because they are able to accomplish several tasks through this one piece of software rather than using a half a dozen programs. Unfortunately it is not saving my clients any time because of how slow the software loads due to its poor connection to its cloud based server.

Avantages

This software has so many great features! Easy to find salon/stylists notes, automated reminders, simple restocking, and so much more. I previously used several tools to accomplish the tasks I accomplish with Meevo.

Inconvénients

This software runs painfully slow. There were times where I would have to hand write an appointment and then add it into Meevo at a later time because I could not add the appointment into Meevo during the duration of the call because of how slow it ran.

Effective, but missing a few things

Avantages

I love the tabs! Being able to navigate from one screen to another without needing to close out of things makes my job more efficient. It's a pretty easy system to navigate. I also love having access to Meevo on my phone.

Inconvénients

The loss of certain reports makes things harder. Specifically with the Employee Supply Usage. Being unable to print it out and organize the products together so I can see exactly how much was used for the month makes it so much harder to figure out what we will need. I've resorted to just printing the web page over and over again until I at least have the full list and then have to go in one by one and group everything together. There are also a few other reports that our owner is upset about losing. As well, I wish there were an app for the phones because reading the schedule through a mobile web page can be difficult.

Meevo pros and cons

I think change is hard but the employees of the company have been really helpful. They’ve also been really pleasant anytime I’ve had an issue with the software. I really am frustrated that things have changed in the booking system( my prices and my timings) without my permission and it has cost me money and time. Also, the had changed something with the appointment reminders, a lot of my guests are not getting their appointment confirmations, this is a problem because people rely heavily on them.

Avantages

The reporting is great I can track payroll, hours, sales, and business overview.

Inconvénients

My prices have been adjusted along with my timings and Meevo has not taken any responsibility for it. It is a struggle because we rely heavily on our booking system for online booking and it has cost me money at this point.

Needs major improvements

The switch to Meevo 2 has been the worst decision I have made in our 31 years in business.

Avantages

The point of sale system is pretty good

Inconvénients

Software has many bugs to be worked out , all reports print to small and if you adjust the size on your printer you cant see the full report, incomplete reports, many item look ups require you to click through 3 to 4 places to get common information , inventory system needs a lot of work, tracking items for goals is poor,speed issues with response from there server is poor . We have all new equipment and 100 meg internet service and you wait up to 10 seconds for responses.

Happy Stylist

The reports are so great, they really out line how each stylist is doing. EVER Helpful

Inconvénients

Some parts of the program you need to jump around a lot, it would be nice when entering in a shipment that if the price has increased you need to go back and change the price under product then enter in the shipment.

Best value for money.

Avantages

I live in FL and run my business in NY remotely. Not only is it is easy to use, manage and monitor but it supports my teams and businesses growth. Each feature is engineered to provide value and growth. I owe much of my business’ success to MEEVO2!

MSI is always innovating. You don’t even know you need a feature and then your software update adds something incredible!

day to day with Meevo 2

I am very happy over all and am looking forward to utilizing all the data from year to year!

Avantages

It covers every aspect of our salon. It is easy to learn and we love all the numbers it tracts. The inventory is nice to track on this software.

Inconvénients

I feel there should be a more detailed learning of all the reports, what they mean and how to find the reports needed. I wish you could edit a ticket after completing it.

Meevo reporting leaves the user wanting more

Again, reporting is locked on date ranges. Must be changed to user defined date ranges.

Easy to switch. Representatives were great to work with.

Best Software Out There & Getting Better!

I've used SO many different online booking programs... Front Desk, Full Slate, Booker, Mindbody, GenBook (just to name a few) and Meevo have been the most reliable so far. Since switching to Meevo, our online booking went from maybe 5 a week to nearly 10 a day. The membership capabilities are awesome and I truly appreciate how much they're improving the software with each update. They listen to ideas from their users and it shows in the product. It is software made by a company that not only understands the industry but also understands the importance of good programming!

Avantages

I love the online booking experience for our guests. Booking multiple services, being able to add themselves to the waitlist and even booking for multiple guests is awesome. The capabilities within the membership are unmatched. Being able to swap and transfer packages with ease is amazing!

Inconvénients

I know they're working on adding more features, so I know this is temporary, but I miss having eGift and the very detailed client selection tool that Millennium used to have (now it is a basic marketing export). Also, some of the reports don't always seem very accurate.

Good w/ some customer service flaws

Pretty good with issues cited above.

Avantages

Easy to use, great features especially the marketing tools. Excellent customization!

Inconvénients

Customer support is riddled with representatives who are not fully knowledge about your products. The hold times are ridiculous and every time you rollout a new version of the software it causes major issues to my retail and client data. In addition, card connect has missed several daily deposits which forced me to push forward closing for my business. Drawer manager needs refresh window.

Meevo 2 is great!

Avantages

We love the functionality of Meevo 2- there are so many features for each position in the spa and customizations that can be made to suit the business.

Inconvénients

Tech support takes a while to get ahold of which can make it difficult as we are open seven days a week and do not have hours to spend trying to sort out technical issues. Once set-up and finished with the on-boarding process, things were smoother.

Meevo 2

The membership program is awesome

Avantages

We have been with Meevo 2 for about 6 months now and we really like it. We have been through 5 software companies in 4 years. We are sticking with Meevo. The setup was detailed and time consuming which created a really nice outcome for using the software. It is much faster and easier to train our front desk team and our membership program is really growing because the membership is now simple for us. The checkout process is much nicer for the guest too. The reports are just what we needed too. We have experienced that issues have been resolved quickly.

Outstanding Software and Company!

As a professional, consultant, and educator in the beauty industry for 18+ years, I have worked with too many locations to count that have used and trusted Millennium and are now converting to Meevo2. The continued relationships, support, and education that this company offers is hands-down the BEST!! Amazing Product, Slow Speed

Great, but overall has some areas that could develop more and there is lots of room for improvement.

Avantages

Product does exactly what it needs to do, with great functionality and versatility. Ease of use is wonderful and ability to give each user different access is great. Visually it is easy to understand and lots of short cuts for booking at high speed.

Inconvénients

The website that runs this software updates at a slow speed, and this is not due to our internet connection. Website freezes when multi tasking or editing large group appointment bookings.

Worst software I’ve ever used

They have built their software to make it impossible to integrate to a new company so I’ve avoided switching because of the hassle but after my recent issues where management and their top tech support got involved and still no results, I’m done. Best part? I hired my own tech guy and the problem was fixed in 5 minutes after they tried for 2 days and several hours.

Cloud based is the only upgrade from Millennium

Inconvénients

Everything is a “work in progress” with no timeline in sight for said improvements. They are no where near ready for use. The most basic reports that you need in a business don’t exist. And tech support? It’s a joke. I’ve taught them where things are in the software before.

Great System / Awesome Team Of Professionals

What you need

I love that It connects the register, with the booking. It is so user friendly.

Avantages

I love how customizable the software is.

The one thing I like least about Meevo 2 is the software has a tendency of Freezing, so you have to refresh the page.

Best Salon Software

Have loved them for almost 17 years now.

Avantages

Texting features, wait list automation, easy to use, every report under the sun, payroll, inventory and things I didn't even know I needed.

Inconvénients

Inventory is always a challenge. Purchase orders can be a pain just because you can not edit.

Meevo 2 for Hair Salons

It’s been one year since we made the switch and for the most part it’s working out, but still some issues

That it’s web based, and I can access it anywhere

Inconvénients

There are still some issues with the development of this program.. I feel it really wasn’t 100% ready to be released and I feel like people that do use it are frustrated with some of the features, especially if you came from using Millennium software.

As a baby boomer and a right brained person, technology in general no matter what I use is overwhelming .

Could be Better

Over all I’m disappointed and searching for other software.

Avantages

The booking function is great. A little slow and freezing in filters but decedent on booking. Inventory management is good and easy.

Inconvénients

Lack of reports. Lack of customized reports. System freezes when we use filters. Millennium was way better and suited our needs best. Voids have to make a work around. No notes on gift cards. No marketing without a mail chimp or similar software. These are just some of the things I like least. There are a few more.

Best Customer Service

The support team is on it all the time! They are less than 5 mins away from any questions I have had and always help resolve my issues

Avantages

Meevo is like millennium was on “She’s all that!” Meevo is so easy to use, looks way better, and has made so many processes simpler and more user friendly.

Inconvénients

Some of the features they have in place to prevent fraud and payroll actually prevent us from fixing easy mistakes- I understand it helps salons that have had issues with theft, but there really should be a work around for the full access users in situations where editing the trans directly is possible instead of returning/repurchasing services etc.

Great System

Online booking is a big help and online gift card sales

Avantages

The features on Meevo 2 are great and what I need for my company. Tech support has been great with answering all of my questions and they are making updates to the system constantly to add more features.

Inconvénients

It does not have a class schedule feature but I can work around that. This is a great system to use.

Meevo 2 Review

It has been overall great but when we have a problem, customer service isn't the best. They will usually record down our problem (work ticket) and get back to us weeks later after I've already figured it out myself.

Avantages

I do think this software is fairly easy to use (like booking appointments and checking people out) and it's great that our staff can access it from home as well.

Inconvénients

The parts of the software that do things for you like the wait list and confirmation system are often confusing as they do not always work the way they're supposed to.

Reports are easy to run to show individual stylist where they need to improve and where they are doing great. Easy to use even for beginners

Easy to use and easy to teach others to use. Customer service easy to get in contact with if you need assistance

Meevo to have their own app!

Not better that Millenium yet

Definitely I see a program that is going to be great once a few things are fixed.
Hope they take from Millenium to improve it.

Avantages

meevo is somewhat user friendly once you customize your page. Still not great for back of the house reports or printing as the lay out isn’t the best as well as the size of the letters.
However the software is faster. Still need a lot of improvements. I like how clients can confirm their appointments. Inventory still tricky to do. Hope they keep updating the program.

Meevo 2

Avantages

This software is user friendly. It is easy to navigate and the layout is self explanatory. The wait list/cancellation list is very helpful, as it notifies you automatically if an appointment has opened up that fits the needs of a wait listed client. Text confirmations are helpful for the clients and our support staff.

Inconvénients

Meevo's customer support is a hit or miss. Most of the time the staff either doesn't know how to fix an issue we are having or can help but has a very poor attitude.

Great Software

Our on-boarding experience was not super great, but the support we have received since has been good!

Avantages

We love that everything is cloud based and easy to access wherever you are!

Inconvénients

There are at time glitches, but the company works hard to make sure they are adjusted in a timely manner

User Friendly

Avantages

It is easy to use and train new staff on.

Inconvénients

It isn't an app. It doesn't work with my quickbooks. And often updates are glitchy.

Meevo!

Tip top! the team at Harms is the best, they are very responsive and I rest easy knowing that their support is just a call away. Our staff is very excited about the move to Meevo2, it is easier to use and friendlier too.

Avantages

Having the file in the cloud makes this more secure and faster to use. The functionality of Meevo is only surpassed by the very helpful folks at Harms Software. Our operating costs have gone down and the ease of connecting with our clients has gone up.

Inconvénients

I haven't found anything not to like. The only thing I wish for is a way to sync with my Quickbooks Desktop.

User friendly software

Very pleasant experience

Avantages

It has all the functions I need to run my salon. Very easy to access reports.

Inconvénients

Just having to search to find the correct report can take a while at first. Once we became familiar it has been easier.

I believe this software was released extremely pre maturely compared to the ease of use millennium offered. I am constantly running into issues with this software and every time there’s an update to fix a problem another one appears.
