I really love how this integrates with different technologies so you can protect static and dynamic sites with a few clicks.

You can fine tune it but it's a manual and time consuming process

Avantages

I bought this tool primarily to stop bad bots and 2nd reason to stop spam over contact forms on the websites we built. Cloudfilt does both tasks very successfully (although more on the stopping bad bots side), and my team and I are very pleased with it.

Inconvénients

Spams over contact forms sometimes goes through, so it could/should be improved.

Yes it does clean up a lot of bot traffic as claimed.

It also cleans up valid users and creates a headache for them.

It's extremely easy to use; you just need to add the site to the platform, generate the code and paste it (or use their plugin for WordPress)

I wish the blocking page had geolocation to display the correct language automatically, as well as allowing to "whitelabel" it with our own logo and messages.

When you have a website, you want to protect it against bots, spam and others threat that are on Internet. I like the simplicity of installation on my WordPress sites. My site is secured in minutes.

Inconvénients

Maybe, the possibility to whitelist some old (older than one month) bot detection, in case of false positive (rarely the case).

I like CloudFilt because it does a good job of keeping the bots out.

We do get complaints from real users about getting stuck in the CloudFilt trap. Unfortunately, when I logged a ticket with CloudFilt about this they stopped responding after initial contact :(

It protects our website from malicious bots and web scrapping that is very important for our online businessIt is very easy to install by any novice that requires no changes in the code changes, and easy integration with CMS

At times the website slows down not sure it is because of this software of the hosting server . I dont see an integration available for shopify

Works well and was easy to set up. Got it from AppSumo and very happy I did. Set up quickly and efficiently with a WP plugin

Inconvénients

It sometimes is overly aggressive and blocks real people. When you try to get through as a real person, the human verification system often does not work. I've had to basically disable the plugin on some sites because it was blocking real people. People have let me know they had problems getting in even when whitelisted, but that could have been a caching problem. Still, it's a very good system for blocking bot traffic.

Easy to see where the server is being targeted. Shows which Joomla pages are being accessed.

Not that I can think of except, sometimes it treats google bots as threats.
