Appointment bookings and reminders made easy
Maintaining appointments with other small business owners is very important for our business and community. This software helps me maximize our time together.
Avantages
Booking, changing appointments and receiving reminders is very easy and helpful. The interface on the customer end looks professional and maintains branding of the company you're working with.
Inconvénients
At this time there isn't anything I like least.

Great for any appointment based business
Avantages
I use this feature whenever I schedule a weekend long meeting session. It works out great for my customers to be able to pay me ahead of time and me to be able to track my appointments accordingly.
Inconvénients
It is a stand alone site and it doens't integrate with my current wix platform. I wish you could embed it inside.

Good product for starting out
Avantages
This is very simple to set up and works great if you are using square for payments.
Inconvénients
This is limited in how you can take certain types of bookings. For example, if you have a spa that needs two rooms or technicians booked at the same time or for one service (but say 15 min with one person then 30 min with the other) this appointment software doesn't have the capability to set that up.

Great booking for small business
Solid experience overall. Would recommend for sure.
Avantages
The functionality of Square is second to none. The customization and powerful features are what drew me to it.
Inconvénients
Ease of use is not great with this software. Took some time to poke around articles and Google to fully understand getting the features where I needed them.

Avantages
You can get it all in the same place payroll, appointments, and collect payments even invoicing. But overall great program
Inconvénients
The only thing is the rates for a credit card pos it's 3.75% without chip reader and 2.75% with chip reader but we all are in it for a paycheck.

Customizable
I wanted an easy to use free scheduling app that anyone could use.
Avantages
My page was nice looking once I was able to get some help through tech support for the page. I was able to ad some pictures to personalize it more.
Inconvénients
I had some challenges getting changes made and also when I attempted to add content to the mobile and web version I had to call tech support or chat with them.

A good tool, but not as fully featured as competitors
It was good while I was using it, but I found a better alternative.
Avantages
I really liked how easy it was to set up, and the fact that it integrates natively with Square (but why wouldn't it?)
Inconvénients
It didn't have as many handy tools as some of the competitors, so I ended up switching to a product offering a LTD and am extremely happy.

Easy way to manage appointments with customers
Avantages
It works with all other Square software, easy to set up, and a simple interface for my team and our customers.
Inconvénients
It needs more features - I understand it's relatively new to the Square suite of products, but it needs more functionality (calendar integration, etc).

Wasn't the Best Option
Overall I'd recommend it for brand new businesses just starting out.
Avantages
We liked that it tied into Square and we wanted to keep everything inside of unified platform. We also like clean layout.
Inconvénients
The issue with Square Appointments is that it's not featurr-heavy enough. Sure, it looks good but you sacrifice customization.

VERY easy to use and efficient for users
Avantages
The layout is great. To the point so that users know what is available. Booking is very easy as well.
Inconvénients
I rarely say that there is nothing to change, however I really do enjoy using this application. I hear nothing but good things from my peers as well.

The great thing about it was that was the organization that the service provided.
Inconvénients
It was not very easy to navigate at first. It was a struggle figuring out how to set everything up. I’ve given it a try numerous times and I found no big enough gain to continue with it.

Love that you can have clients pre pay for appointments, great software that sends reminder texts and emails about appointments.
Inconvénients
Mobile app was glitchy, didn't like that I couldn't sync my Google Calendar with it. Overall just prefer other booking applications.

Simply, the ease of use is the best benefit of this software!
Avantages
The pros are
1. it is great for setting appointments with easy.
2. You can receive notifications via SMS or email.
3. You can link appointments easily to your mobile phone calendar.
4. You can check your appointments via a full calendar from your Square account.
5. It's free for individuals.
6. Clients can pay for services when they set an appointment.
Inconvénients
Square need to add the ability to upload a photo with the services described to help users better describe what they offer. If so, I think they would attract more businesses that rely on setting appointments.

I like how east it is to navigate. It makes everybody’s experience go a lot smoother with rarely any confusion.
Inconvénients
The only thing I would say negatively would be there are a lot of options- which is great for someone who typically prefers a lot to choose from. The only problem with it is that typically our clients just want black and white, yes or no, a or b.

Schedule your barber cut!
Avantages
The best thing about Square Appointments is how easy it is for me to book an appointment with my barber. I'm able to see his schedule and available opening, book the time that works for me, pay online and even store my card to make it quick and easy once he completes my haircut.
Inconvénients
The only thing I would list as a con, as a user, is that it makes me a little nervous storing my credit card information.

Good Solution for a New Appointment-Based Business
Just starting out running a reiki practice, I tried out Square Appointments and didn't try any others after. It was simple and cost-effective, handling booking, emails, billing, and missed appointments without me having to lift a finger.

Biggest benefit is that I can have everything in one place with the comfort knowing I haven't mis-interpreted what I have scheduled with my stylist.
Avantages
I love that it automatically sends to my calendar with details on the service I requested, the address, and send text reminders that I can control. It's great having the information all in one place without having to worry about miscommunication with my stylist!

The software is great I just don’t think it was for me.

What I liked the most about square appointments was the ease of being able to input my information about my schedule so clients would be able to create appointments effortlessly.
Inconvénients
The only thing I wasn’t the craziest about this software was that I was not able to customize how I wanted to. I like eye catching things and this wasn’t it for me.

When shopping for an appointment system square was unfortunately my least favorite

It works in conjunction with square pos. Mobile app available. The app is cost effective for the features you receive
Inconvénients
It did not give my clients the option to book multiple services at one time which required me to immediately adjust each appointment to ensure my schedule flows. Unfortunately i was unable to stop what im doing all the time, this cause confusion with clients and scheduling.

Absolute Nightmare
Our appointments app and system crashed three days ago. We were not able to get ANY help from support over the weekend although our business was open. Square has no emergency procedures. I was just told Monday morning that the initial complaint was not entered correctly and no one has even looked at our issue yet!! We have lost 100s of dollars and have not been able to take any appointments for days and Square could care less.

Really easy to use for appointments
Probably best for larger businesses. My business is smaller and I didn’t see full value in the cost for my size of business.
Avantages
I find square products to be very easy to use- no tutorials seem to be needed- very straightforward and looks visually like google calendar or the apple calendar, so very familiar.
Inconvénients
I wish the cost were a little lower- bc you can use free software to manage bookings. That being said, reminders are automated and bigger businesses would really benefit from that and not costly if you are confirming a lot of appointments.

It is convenient if you are already using square register as a point of sale. Online booking is also nice.
Inconvénients
Overpriced. There are much better scheduling software that are easier to use and cost less. Online booking page isn't as customizable as it could be.

The only con is that when I want to run a promotion on one date only, I don’t have the option to only allow clients to book that service on the specific date.

Not for us
Square appointments did not work for us. We have many therapist and the features did not work for our use. There was a long lag time for the application to reload once a change was made. Customer service was ok but was not able to resolve our issues.

Fantastic features and interface, with a price tag
Avantages
This has a fanstastic scheduling interface. It's super clean, easy to use, the payments are seamless...it's wonderful! The bonus features offer all you could ask for in a scheduling software.
Inconvénients
The price tag. That's the only con I could find with Square Appointments. The organization I work for is on a tight budget, but I'm sure one day I'll return to this scheduler, because it's amazing.
