A Powerful Email Sending Platform.
My experience with sendgrid is very much satisfied. It provides a lot email customization.
Avantages
1- SendGrid provides customizable email templates.
2- SendGrid offers robust API support, which makes it easy for developers to integrate email sending into applications.
3- SendGrid has 24/7 customer support, including chat, email, and phone support for premium users.
Inconvénients
1- Sometimes customer support response times can be slower.

SendGrid is the worst vendor in our tech stack, stay away

The brand name for sending emails, it is a big name
Inconvénients
Without warning, they shut down their system, and then there is no one to resolve the issue. No phone number to call, their help chat bot does not have any ability to restore service to paying customers

Waste of time....
What a horrible experience. After signing up as a new business customer as part of a new marketing strategy my business implemented, SendGrid immediately suspended my account for no reason (after taking my personal information), and an agent then proceeded to tell me some magical 'vetting' system determined I wasn't eligible to use their service.After asking how an earth they could 'vet' me considering they haven't even obtained anything about my business they proceeded to tell me they can't tell me why and that their decision was final.Appalling service, I genuinely have no idea how these people even have customers to begin with if one can't even sign up....

Absolutely nothing, couldn't even sign up...
Inconvénients
Everything, because they discriminate on who signs up to them, and give no explanation for suspending your account after taking your personal information.

Ensures deliverability and effectiveness
Ovberall we are happy with Sendgrid - it does exactly what it advertises it should do.
Avantages
It's really easy to set up campaigns and schedule them ahead of time. Then you can just forget about them until you need to check the statistics.
Inconvénients
No downsides to using Sendgrid thus far.

HORRIBLE service
Stay away from this service, any other service would be better for your business and sanity.

Nothing to like about this service unfortunately.
Inconvénients
There is no customer support, they ban your account even after you have paid for no reason due to suspicious activity, which is sending emails. The service for sending emails bans their users for sending emails, and then you have to open a support ticket to reactivate your account which takes almost 2 weeks to get an initial response.

Terrible service
Terrible service, it worked in testing mode, and so I purchased their subscription, after I deployed my website to product env, it stopped working properly, and so I was gonna log in them again, but always failed, at all I contacted them, but they didn't resolve for 2 days, it made my business terrible meanwhile, at last, they blocked my account.I m using aws ses service, its the best one than this terrible service.Good luck, terrible guys

Great product, improve customer support
Couldn't use it to satisafaction but I know people who worked well with it

I like the vetting process, making sure users don't spam.
Inconvénients
The customer is weird, they didn't approve my account for whatever reason, no explanation, I sent mail and still no explanation, they only reffered me to some policies none of which I violated.

Great for the price proposed
Avantages
Functional, practical and inexpensive email newsletter system in relation to the volumes it allows to send. The statistics are detailed and precise, the website is well designed and pleasant to look at. It allows you to send emails built in HTML or with a drag&drop editor.
Inconvénients
I've tried it for a month so far and I can't say anything bad. Everything works as it should.

Decent transactional email/email API platform
Avantages
Integrated with many other software and platforms, and extensive developer documentation.
Inconvénients
SendGrid always has issues with delivering emails to Yahoo, Outlook, Hotmail, MSN, etc., so that's always a pain. The only workaround I'm aware of is to use a dedicated IP address, which isn't cheap.

A bit pricey
Functional, not that cheap. It works, but in the end we jumped ship.
Avantages
It's easy to use with a clean interface.It did allow me to send nice looking campaigns to my list of contacts.
Inconvénients
At the time of my use it was lacking some features like detailed list segmentation / tagging of contact. That may have improved now. The cost stacks up quite quickly and ends up being just as much as the category leaders in the email space.

Since it is Twilio's SendGrid, all kinds of integrations can be done quickly.

I think combining the code with SendGrid is complicated compared to other services. It should be simpler

SendGrid handles it all!
Avantages
I have been using SendGrid for a couple of months now and the experience has been great. It's a reliable, cloud-based email solution that has taken all the burden off our shoulders. We no longer have to worry about building, scaling and maintaining our in-house email infrastructure.
Inconvénients
It has been functioning exceptionally well, and I have no negative remarks to make about this platform so far.

It is undeniable that the service offers numerous features. Two-factor authentication is also provided for free accounts. The free plan offers 100 mails per day, not bad.
Inconvénients
The prices are definitely high, it's easy to find more competitive prices from the competition.

Me parece una herramienta muy útil y con un precio muy asequible.
Avantages
Me gustó la facilidad para crear plantillas personalizadas y segmentar mi lista de correo para enviar correos específicos a cada audiencia. En otras plataformas que he probado la segmentación era difícil de implementar y en SendGrid el manejo es bastante intuitivo.Por otro lado, la entregabilidad es excelente.
Inconvénients
Quizás sugeriría aumentar el número de mails que validan en cada plan, ya que es una función muy útil para no perder envíos y perjudicar la reputación del remitente al usar alguna dirección que ya no puede recibir mails por el motivo que sea (buzón lleno, etc.)

An Easy to Use Email Marketing Software
The detailed stats from each email campaign is amazing, and the Unsubscribe groups option really helped with GDPR compliance
Avantages
1. On the bottom left side of the dashboard is a small reputation percentage bar, that measures your reputation. The bar is updated daily based on your email sends, your reputation goes down if your email bounces or is marked as spam.
2. Stats: SendGrid provides A LOT of data on the performance of your email campaigns, these stats are: Requests, Delivered, Opens, Unique Opens, Clicks, Unique Clicks, Unsubscribes, Spam Reports, Bounces, Blocks, Bounce Drops, Spam Report Drops, Unsubscribe Drops and Invalid Emails. SendGrid also provides stats such as: Global Stats, Category Stats, Category Comparison, Subuser Stats, Subuser Comparison, Geographical, Email Clients & Devices, Mailbox Provider Stats, Mailbox Provider Comparison, Browser Stats, and Browser Comparison

4. Unsubscribe Groups: This is without doubt my favorite feature from SendGrid. When you click on "Marketing" on the left side of your dashboard, and select tour from the drop down, it sort of lists steps to set up for sending marketing emails. Step 3 on the list of things to do is to create unsubscribe groups. Here you can Create groups that represent types of email that you regularly send to your recipients. If a recipient chooses to unsubscribe, they will have the option of selecting which of these groups they want to unsubscribe from.
Inconvénients
1. The Email templates in SendGrids gallery are a bit basic which initially wasn't a problem as I liked creating my own template, but I did not like how I couldn't modify the "columns" module to my taste.
I wanted to create a template with three columns with the center column bigger than the two on the side. The idea was to have my client's images linking to their projects (On their websites) on the side columns, with the write up in the center column.
However, that couldn't be done (At least so far it seems so as I can't find any option to tweak the size/width of each column) as each column has an equal width.
2. No automation function: I'd like to create a sort of If/Then sequence where I can resend an email to a group of people after x days, for example, I'd like to resend an email (With a different heading of course) to people who have not opened the first email after four days.

SendGrid, the best solution for your business mail
Overall with SendGrid I started my newsletter campaign for my business very easily and with a good conversion rate. Thanks to this platform I was able to reach a very large audience through emails, gaining user loyalty. I recommend using this platform.
Avantages
the most impactful features are the platform ui for both mobile and desktop devices. The real-time email analysis is complete and reliable, and above all it helps to send many emails with a good delivery success rate as no spam in them.
Inconvénients
Surely the only flaw could be the rather excessive price, especially considering that the basic plan does not implement some of the most important functions.

Easily integrates with a lot of other email marketing software, quite easy to set up, improves email deliverability.
Inconvénients
The menu could be more straightforward.
It also has a bug that the support team says they know about but don't fix for some reason, even though it seems to me like it's very easy to fix: when you're approaching your sending threshold for one day, SendGrid sends you alert messages saying that you've used up over 95% of your 'MONTHLY' sending limit even though it's only 'DAILY' sending limit. When it first happened to me, I got very confused and contacted the support that they told me they know about it. All that's needed is to change one word. Don't get confused as I did.

We use Sendgrid for many things
It's simply pleasant and we're still with them for the simplicity. That can't be over emphasized.
Avantages
Two things actually. The transactional email software was what we started with and it was exceptional. The emails were fast and delivered promptly. That made us try the email Marketing feature and we eventually dumped Mailchimp for it. You can have as much as 1000 free subscribers and send 6000 emails per month, not as much as Mailchimp is offering but it gets the job done and we love the simplicity, are there cons? Yes, and I'll get to that shortly. Sendgrid also takes security seriously and never lets you rest until you've turned on two factor authentication even when I'm sure my account is not in that much of a threat, simply not bad.
Inconvénients
Mostly on the email marketing part cause that's what we use more often. The pricing isn't small business friendly and you'd have to pay more to access essential features like automation, not great, you'd have to pay more for that. Dedicated IP, that I get, but automation not available on the basic paid package is kind of a kicker but with email marketing ROI, its probably a great investment but then again, we do make do without it. The software doesn't work well on all browsers and devices sometimes, it happened to us at some point but I reckon its been fixed.

SendGrid Review
It is fine--we continue to use it and at the end of the day the emails get delivered. It is just not super practical or intuitive. To get the full benefits I had to get a professional guy who knows HTML to help me to design and send the emails (and I am very savvy with technology).
Avantages
This software has better features than competitors and email campaigns seem to reach out to more people. the templates provided are useful.
Inconvénients
The Challenge with this app is that every little improvement that you want to make to your process is going to cost you more money. So although it starts being cheaper than competitors, by the time you add the reporting, stats, more emails you end up paying the same or more.
Unless you pay extra you will not see the results of your email campaign, that is a big con, and you don't realize this until you have imported thousands of people and have invested a lot of hours creating your lists. Since you get a lot of free features when you first sign-in "as a trial period" by the time they remove them you are all in!

API implementation is shaky and there are some 500s that you can't solve
After ending up on a 500 error from their server on a simple endpoint to create API keys on subusers, I made a support ticket. I had some answers at first and then the ticket stayed unanswered for 24 days, after which I went to Twitter to push them to answer me. They did answer me and told me to try using the API test tool to see if that would also produce the same 500. It did, it was now pretty clear that the error was on their side. 2 days later my ticket was simply deleted without any answer, I cannot see it in my list anymore. Despite asking them about it on Twitter again, nothing changed... I would strongly avoid Sendgrid if you're planning on using it for anything important.
Avantages
If you use the most basic features of SendGrid, it will work and do what you need.
Inconvénients
Don't use Subusers, ever! If you are a company who will need to rely on their subusers feature to provide services to your client, please don't, you're wasting your time and you're better off trying another provider that has the same type of functionality but that actually WORKS and is more simple. 500s left and right, endpoints that simply don't work, wrong documentation, ...
