Avantages

Easy to access my books any where. If I am traveling, I can pull up information on my phone or my laptop. No need to have that .QBO file. I just need internet.

Inconvénients

Although I love the flexibility I have with QBO. I did not like that I really had no other option. I could not update my desktop version without paying for Enterprise(which I do not need). The only thing I could do was move to the cloud. I would have liked to choose for myself.

Avantages

QuickBooks Online notably provides key accessibility benefits. The platform itself is easy to navigate around, and often quick at responding. QB seems to be continuing creating updates + new features.

Inconvénients

QuickBooks Online has become increasingly difficult to use. Their ongoing development + updates is a good thing, however, oftentimes it creates a very buggy user experience. For example, some features will work one day, not work the next, then return a week later.

Really dislike that we no longer can open invoices by clicking on the line item, but have to navigate over to the View/Edit button over to the right.

Always hoping for the release of granular permissions / access controls, but not sure it is coming.

Pretty easy to create invoices and track clients.

No quick one access button(They used to have this). You need to login to several portals before finally entering the main screen, very annoying.

Avantages

The Receipt Tracker is great. I can upload/email receipts/invoices to my account or take pictures of them on my phone, and QuickBooks will extract the information in them for me saving me hours of time each month tallying up my expenses.
Being able to link my accoun to my Bank Account is great as it helps when marking invoices as paid. I don't have to manually check my bank account t osee if each invoice was paid saving hours each month.
The reporting features are great for quick looks at how your business is running over the month/months.

Inconvénients

The site is slow responding to clicks and loading.
It does not allow you to use your own domain when sending invoices, which can cause issues as they can be blocked as spam on some clients filters.
Some things can only be done on the website or the app, and not both.

Avantages

It was fairly easy to transition from a home-grown Excel- based accounting system to QuickBooks Online with the help of an expert. She was also able to integrate autopay [via ConnectBooster] and auto task [ticketing]. The latter feeds directly into QBO and as such, makes month-end invoicing so much easier. The level of automation enabled through these 3 solutions, all integrated in QBO], has reduced month-end invoicing from a solid week to literally 30 minutes each month. This is followed by a QC review and then boom, invoicing. Clients appreciate the accuracy and ability to pay directly, via ACH, credit card, or check.

Inconvénients

Support leaves a little to be desired. On the few occasions that I had to call, the solution was not forthcoming. Not sure if this is because we were working with a minimally-trained support staff. It would be extremely helpful to have the option of requesting escalation to a Tier 2 or Tier 3 engineer who can identify the issue expediently and navigate through solution/resolution.

It is easy to navigate the website and it updates automatically when used along with other sites.

In the "attachment" box within an invoice the customer is unable to view the attachment sometimes.

I liked the ease of use and intuitive interface of QuickBooks Online. It was incredibly easy to set up and start using, even for a small business owner with limited accounting experience. I also appreciated the seamless integration with other tools and apps, making it easy to track expenses and stay organized. Its pretty user friendly and not too expensive. It does a little of everything. You can do same-day deposits, taxes, automatic scheduled payroll. It also includes mile tracking, benefits, etc.

The only thing that was somewhat annoying was when they would change the layout and I would have to learn where everything is.

The software is cloud-based, allowing you to access it on multiple systems simultaneously using a single user ID. It is also compatible with mobile devices.

The best software you can ask for is available online and works well for my organization. It allows easy connection to bank feeds and helps with managing reconciliations efficiently and punctually. I highly recommend it for small businesses.

QBO is easy to connect to bank accounts and instant add transactions plus starting accounting journal entries for new entities which is considered to have separate balance sheet is trouble free.Finally we can do invoices which helps keep track of our records as well as run payroll and run reports to keep good track of our companies financial picture.
