Because I'm still learning, I don't see the benefit of this over email.

I don't like having so many variations of "groups" I have to check for messages.

Avantages
It allows you to share your screen, I like as well the fact that Microsoft Teams is available in both desktop and mobiles devices and also that it has a good chat feature.
Inconvénients
I would like to see more integrations and the web conferencing tool might not be as user-friendly as other platforms for some people.

Great Backup For Meetings
Avantages
As someone who frequently uses Zoom and Google Meet to conduct virtual meetings Mircrosoft Teams is another great alternative to use. It connects with microsoft office beautifully so if you or your company uses that email provider you will have no problem connecting with microsoft teams.

I have not used the product long enough to determine what cons there might be

Not my favorite, but it works
Avantages
It does work well for what it needs to do. Allows us to meet as a team and share ideas virtually whenever we need to.
Inconvénients
I feel it is really lacking compared to Zoom. It does not have all the same features, the quality is worse, and I feel the audio muting is not nearly as intelligent as Zoom's.

Top of the line offering with one hiccup
After the first hiccup, 100% something I would use again and recommend as an option, but not the top choice.
Avantages
I find myself using Teams more and more as its industry adoption has grown. Really easy to use. Fast to load and easy to talk someone through to join a meeting.
Inconvénients
First time using it was a bit of a hiccup, had to adjust permissions to allow me to use the screen share piece, forced me to sign. out and back in. Getting things function for the first use should be outlined earlier in the install process.

It's Great
Avantages
With all the software options out there this is the most integrated software I know of. I trust it and it works well.
Inconvénients
Like most VOIP solutions if your not using a IP Phone and just using a software based application it will cut in and out!

Great product
I've had to use it a few times to connect for personal reasons and haven't had any issues with it.
Avantages
I like how easy it is to use the. I've used Zoom in the past and feel the quality of Microsoft Teams is better.
Inconvénients
I cannot find anything that I don't like yet. I still use other platforms but I have to say that this one works well and I will most likely continue using it.

online meeting at home via microsoft teams
We can have virtual meeting by using microsoft teams at our home without going to office.
Avantages
With COVID-19, both manager and I work from home, and we have monthly meeting at home via microsoft teams, it is better than skype about online chat, as skype has echo when you talk, while microsoft teams doenot.
Inconvénients
The first time when you use microsoft teams, it was not successful, my manager emailed me how to change setting of my remote computer so that both audio and video can work.

Great way to keep track of to do items and assign them to people. Easily accessed by everyone to see the status of projects.

The most enjoyable part of Using teams is when I turn it off and go home for the day. Teams integration into the Microsoft ecosystem should make it a valuable tool, but it does not.
Inconvénients
It's cumbersome, non intuitive inferface is maddening. The software dies not perform up to expectations at all.

Great experience - would highly recommend to people wondering whether to use this software or not.

I like that it is easy to use and any beginner would be able to use it. It is all laid out simply and you can invite other participants to the calls. Video is very clear and so is the sound.

Good depending on specific use
If you’re looking for a single platform for multiple uses, MS Teams is probably the right option for you.
Avantages
While some of our departments use MS Teams for file storage and video calls, I find that Google Drive and Zoom are better applications for file storage and videoconferencing, due to accessibility and an easier interface.
Inconvénients
Not bad in any way, but I prefer other platforms for videoconferencing and file storage as they are more simple to use and used more broadly.

Teams takes the lift out of group work - easy file sharing and chat along with seamless organization. Reminds me of Slack, but is even more useful to my workflow.
