Avantages

By far the sleekest design UX experience I have had with any e-learning platform, and I have used others in the past.

The team were able to migrate me from Failjabi in less that 24 hours and the support is so personal and caring.

It's also great value for money and I could not ask for better updated as the arrive month by month, I have just committed to another 12 months with Podia by paying upfront and I would never have dreamed of doing this with any other service

No crypto checkout, I know this might be difficult to implement but would be a great feature.

I like that getting up and selling is easy. I appreciate their integration with Stripe versus relying on a proprietary payment software (like Shopify) because I might not trust it as easily.

It feels very limited in some aspects. I don't love the limitations in building out pages and more than anything the ability not to access CSS is mindboggling.

It's an all in one solution to a content creator's dream: membership site that can be used as a blog, email service provider covering the basic needs for drip campaigns, newsletters and email list building, digital downloads storage and online courses platform. I looove the fact that you get unlimited everything, so no more tiers to squeeze through.

Inconvénients

The email marketing part is not as advanced as the likes of Convertkit or Drip, for example, but for beginners is just enough. But the fact that you have unlimited customers, subscribers, everything, it compensates, at least in the beginning when you're not making too much money off your email list anyway.

Ease of use and the subdomain. Plus it does products , classes and membership - all I ever wanted in one place.

No APP yet and no subscriptions with Paypal yet. But I know they are working on that

Podia is easy to use and it is BEAUTIFUL.
The staff is super available for support and the platform is growing and being added to all the time.
I LOVE how the storefront is integrated, so I was able to close my shopify account (with all the other class platforms I was looking at, I would have had to keep shopify as well). It is truly all in one.
I love the ability to sell courses, digital downloads, AND memberships all in one place-- no extra apps or add ons needed. It's simple, easy, and clear.

Inconvénients

There are a few limitations still with the exact customizations to my sales and course pages BUT they are minimal, and in the month I have been involved in Podia, there have already been big improvements in this area so I know more are coming!

It's simple to build a course. Podia has a lot of resources to help you build, sell and market your product. It is simplicity in all actions, and it is quickly accessible to people who are not very tech.

Inconvénients

No custom embed codes can be added... but let's face it... I can do without it for the first stages of sales.
The trial offer could be more time... more than two weeks... We have to be prepared to build quickly to understand all the possibilities…

Fast, live support, rapid improvements from the development team, and marketing help with case studies, interviews, and free webinars.

Couldn't set up my custom domain instantly, required about a day of waiting and manual team setup. Wish I knew this earlier since I signed up the day before launching. :P

This platform is definitely not the traditional LMS (Learning Management System) which targets the corporate and academic worlds. Instead, Podia has designed their platform for entrepreneurs and their customers. The interface is beautiful, and the attention to detail is exceptional. They've really thought through the course-delivery experience, and have come up with something special. As well, their customer support is stellar.

Initially, I found some of the settings confusing and counter-intuitive. And it was hard to find the Help docs. However, Podia is in the midst of redesigning their UI, so I look forward to seeing how they develop.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, i tried a lot of website to try to sale my online courses : Podia is the best ! The UI and the UX are amazing !

I have had customers complain to me because when they click my products (coaching sessions specifically), they are being required to enter their email address and "sign up" before even being able to view my calendar availability. This feature should be optional for products. I am finding that podia is not as "user friendly" as I was led to believe. Also, the staff work from 9-5 but more often than not they are unavailable and I'm met with an automated response to send an email. Again, not very convenient for paying customers such as myself.

I love how quickly I get response from the team and I'm never made to feel as though my question is silly - I am a complete new starter with anything technical so this is all brand new to me and it's essential I feel supported as I'm doing everything else on my own!

I would love for my customers to be able to access their content without having to use a password as they sign up to get it, and then have to sign in again to get my downloads (but I do understand why this is probably necessary)

It's easy to use and to customize. Although Podia looks simple and is simple to use, it is packed full of functionality and has an unbeatable price especially for the space.

Some of the backend access needs are organized in a way that makes it a bit hard to figure where to look in the beginning but once you know where things generally are, it's easy to manage.

Podia is a one-stop shop for digital creators. I don't have to worry about setting up different tools to work together...I can manage everything I need from one place. It's great to have the video hosting, email campaigns, memberships, and digital storefront built in and accessible from one place.

Inconvénients

Sometimes the user interface can be a bit tough to navigate, specifically in the area of Podia where you are customizing the design of your storefront.

Embeds in the website are not an option except for YouTube videos and a few others that are supported by iframely. This was annoying for me as I wanted to embed Instagram feed and Facebook feed and Google maps, for example.

All-in-one platform for those interested in providing multiple products under one user interface; Podia doesn't not take a percentage of your profit but rather a monthly/yearly fee; customer service is quick to respond and very helpful; new users now are getting in early and have the ability to assist in shaping and improving the product; and Podia is better solution than other similar platforms I have used and since abandoned.

More features are being added over time and membership are currently payable via PayPal (though Podia is working diligently to fix this).

I've used Teachable. It's great. But Podia is better. I enjoy podia because it's simple and beautiful and easy to use. It's the Apple of teaching software. It's intuitive and constantly being updated with new features. It's referral program is awesome too :)
