Nous utilisions ce produit comme de forum pour nos releases notes ainsi que pour indiquer les nouvelles fonctionnalités pour les prochains livrables une fois qu'ils étaient fixés.Ça fonctionnait bien.

It has task planning features that allow us to plan our daily tasks and remain focused on achieving projects objectives. Basecamp has exceptional reporting functions that offer detailed insights about our projects work. Its high-end security tools enable us to keep all project details and data secure.

Inconvénients

There has not been anything to dislike about Basecamp. We have not experienced any challenges while using it.

The most amazing thing about Basecamp is it's usability and user experience. An easy to use platform and the customer care team is really proactive, available and easy to work with.The whiteboards are good helps alot to organise everything and customize to fit our needs.Automations are available that speed up the workflows thus save alot of time and reduces human error.Ability to collaborate and communicate on a specific project .I can assign tasks and track all the things in one place.Uploading and storing documents is direct and able to organise them for easy find on later.

The experience is great ,only that this tool laks Agile /scrum features like sprints ,epics and backlog.

The notepad option was very handy for our everyday use and it was easy for the whole team to use

It was good for content management but for project management it was very limited. There was no GANTT option and we could not see project statuses at a glance.

What sets Basecamp apart is that it has a central communication hub along with tasks and lists to keep everything organized in one location. Inconvénients

Basecamp itself is a useful app, but their file management system could be better since there is no sorting and tagging as advanced as in CI or GitLab. It would also be extremely helpful to further customize the notification system so that users could more specifically tailor alerts based on urgency or relevance to reduce notification fatigue.

- It was easier to use than other project management systems I've used in the past.
- It was easy on the eyes, better laid out and put emphasis on the right items.
- It had a reasonable learning curve.

- There was no direct interaction with Slack. You had to use a third-party app to hook it up.
- It's popularity is waning

Basecamp is a great service if you're managing a lot of files and sharing them with a large team or even other business partners. It makes sharing files and tracking project progress easy.

Inconvénients

It was a bit more complex than our small business/non-profit needed, so we didn't feel like we were using enough of the features to justify the (pretty reasonable) cost.

Avantages

I find it very helpful for project management. Implementation is simple and straight forward along with great customer support. It makes my team better connected and work more closely.

Inconvénients

It is almost bug free and error free but while working on large project with a real-time updates it might slow down. It has not slowed me down but some of my team members faced this issue.

It had a simple UI which was easy to use and always on point. It did not have any fluff and it did not require me to spend an additional 5 minutes to interpret each page. It was also easier for my clients from smaller towns (who were not as tech friendly) to adopt to.

Inconvénients

The page would look cluttered at times when it had too many tasks and schedules put together. For someone like me who puts a high priority on UI, this was not very appealing. Incorporating grids/tabular format could have made it appear more organized.

Simplicity to use the project. It is very easy to use and from day one you can learn how to use this.
It provided every morning notification mail on all the updates of the basecamp task.
Its due date feature help to check the date prior which we have to complete the task

To be honest i did not find any cons about basecamp its simple to use and provide notifications according.
Only one thing i like less is i am not able to resize the picture which i paste on my basecamp task i think basecamp should work on that

I love the the user interface is easy to learn and use. It's laid out in a way that makes intuitive sense for juggling multiple projects at once and has many features that keep to-do lists easy to track and the activity of everyone on the team visible.

Inconvénients

It can be tricky to figure out how some of the tracking works and which feature best helps your organize your work. Sometimes there are more items than you need and it would be nice to be able to remove more features from the dash and menu if you don't use them.

It is easy to find what you're looking for in Basecamp once you've got your head around the program. We really like the way the program is a platform for team and project management all in one. It makes the management of every aspect of business easier!

The one thing I personally didn't like was it felt a bit of a clunky interface and was not exactly easy to start using, took a while to figure it all out. But once you're familiar with it and have worked out the clunky bits, it does get easier to use!

Basecamps simplicity is both it's finest feature and it's only shortcoming. Some companies have more convoluted workflows that require more advanced features.

One fantastic aspect of Basecamp is that you can just simply make your workgroups for different teams and its very effective and consistent with how you can communicate with other team memebers. You can have effective interactions and work can be allocated efficiently. It's incredibly beneficial for collaborating with your team

Because of how responsive the customer support service through the contact us they've responded very rapidly. Every feature that is offered is simple to utilize. I have only seen Basecamp's positive aspects and I haven't yet seen any drawbacks.

Supports unlimited users, this is really helpful when we’re working as teammates on one project. No setup fee, free trial for first timers, this is really cool to small businesses. The starting fee is affordable and it’s based by the space required and your current projects, the bigger the space the more it’s priced. Task assignment is really helpful keeps us on track with the help of to do’s and we’re able to assign a task to a person and set deadlines, this has positively impacted our productivity. It’s very user friendly. I like the control I have on permissions I grant and deny permissions to people according to my preference, keeps my data safe and secure. Basecamp is a time saver, I rarely miss deadlines to my projects, always finish on time as this software keeps my projects organized and all my work eg plans, notes etc are kept in one central location

We have two teams using basecamp. We use to track project, to share updates and followups of activity. For us its easy to use. Its easy to create chat rooms for each of the clients and project management.

One thing I like the least is the response of the support team it takes a little bit of time.

It has very effective team collaboration features that help us to communicate and work more closely together as a team. Its reporting features provide us with detailed reports that has all the insights we need to know about our projects. Basecamp also has top-notch data safety functions that keep all our projects data safe and secure. It also has Gantt charts that help us to plan and organize our tasks.

Inconvénients

Basecamp has proved fit to solve our needs and has never disappointed us in any way. There lacks anything to dislike.

Basecamp is the perfect solution for simplicity and efficiency. It has just what you need to manage projects, communications, and almost any collaborative work. You're not flooded with a ton of features that you'll never use.

The message board is simple, yet effective, with just enough customisability. Most importantly, it's a product built for their own use case - so Basecamp's authors are using the platform to build their entire business around it.

They have a ton of free resources, with my favourite being the Shape Up book about how Basecamp runs research & discovery on the platform.

They've improved many of the things I didn't like, so I think the only remaining issue is that you can't set tasks to recur every 8+ days. It caps out at 7. It's a niche use case, but I needed it a few times already and had to work around this.

Basecamp has single page projects that are relatively simple to use. The to-do lists are easy to use as well. Basecamp can also handle large file transfers.

Basecamp isn’t the most user friendly software available. It’s quirky and somewhat difficult to figure out what to do if you aren’t familiar with the software.

Excellent and user-friendly program for having a central location for shared document storage. Better than Google docs because it is not created within a dedicated account, so that when the person who created it leaves, access become problematic. Solved a significant access issue for our multi-disciplinary team.

No downsides. At first I was slow to use it because it represented yet a whole other new software to get used to, but then when I spent even just a bit of time in it, I realized how extremely easy it is to use

Basecamp is a hit but not a miss. It is simplified, tailored and integrated into an organized easy to use platform. It's comprehensivity stands out for me that it has a range of functionalities that perfectly suit my task management needs. It's straightforward and unified dashboard allow me to keep track of all my clients appointments. Since it is a default communication platform in the salon we use it as a centralized place where we can share new hairstyles and brainstorm on how to achieve each one of it soo it allows for sharing of any file of any format especially pictures which is the most common in our setup. Getting every appointment on calendar helps with scheduling the appointment to make sure there are no double salon appointments on the same time or day
