Easy to use and understand software that we successfully use for department organization charts and system setup.

Inconvénients

The software can sometimes be needless cumbersome. As with all Microsoft products usability has a lot to be desired. I wish they would have an "easy mode" for every one of their software programs.

Avantages

I like that it easily allows you to document a process using a flow chart. It has helped us finalize processes and create new processes to help keep parties involved accountable.

Inconvénients

This works great for our purposes and there is nothing that I can think of that is negative about Visio.

Avantages

Visio televisions are amazing. I own 3 in our house. What I like most is the durability. My two sons can get rowdy playing in their rooms. Few times the thing has fallen and taken Lego off the screen lol still holding strong lol 💪

Inconvénients

Just isn't the same as say a higher brand name. But it's definitely cheaper on the pockets if you can mind the less classy look of say a Sony Bravia!

Avantages

Visio is so easy to use! It feels like I already know how to use it from the first launch. All the tools within the app are self-explanatory and you aren't left wondering what an icon means.

Inconvénients

I do wish they updated the design and UI for the tool.

What I love about Visio it truly has helped with project management and helping others understand workflows.

There are no cons the software is very user friendly and the biggest thing is to explore and navigate.

It is a best tool to visualize data in the form of flowcharts and diagrams. It makes data representation easier and prepares an easy to share file.

I use Visio to show process diagrams at work. Visio allows me to easily make nice, clean flowcharts.

There is nothing I would change about this software. Visio meets all of my business needs. I did have a bit of an issue when I updated my computer to Windows 10 but I was able to get it working.

I most like the visual nature of working with this application. With drag-and-drop functionality, I can easily develop a workflow or schedule timeline.

I switched to a Mac a few years ago. What I least like about this application is that there is no version for Mac. As a Mac user, I switched to Lucid.

The thing I like most about this software is that it is really easy to use and the fact that everything is clearly viewed.

What I like least is what Microsoft has in more of its software, is that the things that you can use are fine but if you want to go a bit deeper, options are sometimes limited.

Great software for what I need it for, which is just to review drawings when they get it. I don't need to edit them much, so as a viewer this works great.

None so far, but I don't do a lot of editing of drawings.

It's an amazing software when dealing with projects that require workflows. With this program, you are able to create new workflows from scratch. This program has great features that are often overlooked as a beginner.

Inconvénients

The software is difficult to use as a beginner and requires you to utilize the help tool quite often. What may seem like a simple task in your head suddenly becomes difficult to create on Visio when you are not sure where to begin.

Avantages

Visio is a powerful diagramming and drawing tool, but it can be hard to use especially if you are new to it. It can help you organize and map all procedures at your company and make them visualized.

Inconvénients

The online version has very limited options, I didn't like the fact that it doesn't allow for more used to edit or work on one single document.

nothing much except we make our organization chart using Visio. There is no other use of the software.

I dislike that i don't have access to customer support. Sometimes it freezes and it wont load and save the changes. I also dislike that the diagrams go off the page, and sometimes makes a new page, and sometimes doesn't. It can get frustrating.

It is very easy to make great charts with it. It has alot of useful features, the data flow diagrams is amazing.

The auto-arrange feature more than once resulted in wrong diagram arrangement which is annoying.

This tool was great for explaining a work process to a big group of people. Easy to build and update.

This software is not part of the MS Office package so it is not common and most people in the group did not have the software and could not open the Visio file. But you can always make a PDF to share with the group.

I've been using Microsoft Visio for lest than a month but then I find it very useful at work because of its known features. It is easy to use for a beginner like me. So I can recommend this software for engineering students who have been making their thesis for graduation.

This product is great for mapping out processes. We use it to make visuals of various processes to easily explain them to others and show them to clients.

There are a lot of designs available to use in this product to show these processes, which is nice, things like lines, arrows, squares, triangles, etc. The variety helps define the process well.

This software takes some learning and is an additional cost; you don't get it with the rest of the Microsoft products. Due to this, not very many people at our company have Visio, which is hard since then only one or two people can create and edit the process documents.

It is very much easy to draw a process flow diagram by using Microsoft Visio where you can choose your desired shape and connection line to present the process flow.

Adding several connections to a single box I found it difficult.

You can make flowcharts with all kinds of illustrations and symbols. It's really easy to use and looks pretty for presentations.

Sometimes it glitches and moves all of your symbols around when adding new things. But that happens in Word as well.
