Avantages

Nothing. Never got to actually use it because they de-activated my account and kept my money.

Inconvénients

Their "portal" for documents to be e-signed is like a bad version of google docs- without the ability to import. You literally cannot import a pre-made document. You can paste the content and reformat it- so good luck with anyone transferring from another platform, anyone with pre-existing documents, basically anyone that wants to edit a document outside of their terrible text editor.

I was told that Rippling would out-perform Zenefits, QuickBooks and DocuSign combined. That turned out to be a lie, and I am now out over $1000.00. They have no customer support. Good luck getting any issues resolved or getting anyone to help you if you need a refund. When I asked for a refund, my account was cancelled, I was ghosted and no refund was ever issued.

Avantages

I am not kidding when I tell you we joke that things have to be Jackie-proof instead of babyproof - when it comes to being user friendly. This was the most user friendly easy thing to set up. I literally set it up without their help - Rippling was even impressed. Perhaps this was part of the reasons left.

Inconvénients

They have it all over online that 2-3 weeks to go live. The original contact I had at Rippling - initial screening for sales - was fabulous I would have completely stayed if the trainer and their supervisor would have been responsive at all. Basically I got every thing set up and by the time we got to the 1st training call - which was 30 min - it was a joke, I learned nothing - felt like another sales pitch but I had already signed up. I just wanted someone to help me get my departments etc set up in a way that make it automatic - no such luck 6 wks later I finally got a reply I would get my money back

Running payroll is quick and easy. I get a reminder via email; the process literally takes seconds.

Inconvénients

Some of the reports are hard to find. Some of the navigation icons are "below the fold" and not in an obvious location.

Nothing readily comes to mind, although I haven't had the chance to fully test all the features (I'll update if something comes up post-tax season and I have been able to see the tax implementation)

Team was extremely helpful and patient working with me to get onboarded. I'm a first time founder of a startup and the HR side of business is all new & complicated. They took the time to help me not only understand Rippling but what I needed to do with my other service providers (CPA's, etc.) to get things in order to setup Rippling properly.

Inconvénients

Very little but I guess that I had to depend on them for so much. I wouldn't really have it another way but I guess there could have been more self-help information on your site that's broadly educational information.

It makes hiring incredibly simple, particularly for founders new to the HR process.

It is complex with quite a lot of options, but that’s to be expected considering the services it provides.

Rippling is extremely easy to get set up and to use. They have help screens to walk you through the steps in getting things done. For example, to set up our Unemployment Insurance account for integration there were screen shots from the state's website that showed me exactly what to expect as I complete the setup.

Inconvénients

The NetSuite integration setup didn't completely track with how we have NetSuite set up. I had to define categories that we don't use to complete the setup. This is an area that I may have to re-visit after seeing how the data files look over time.

The software is easy to use and access, for admin and employees.

There isn't anything that I've come across that I think needs to be improved.

I really like how easy Ripping is to use to select my benefits. I also use it to keep track of sick time and vacation as well as view my paycheck.

The layout is fool proof. VERY clear and functional. I appreciate that when it comes to managing my money and healthcare.

Takes a little bit of scrolling upon first use, but it is not difficult.

The fact that it is free for under 5 employees is awesome for my solo business. They withdraw the funds from accounts without issue. And very customizable.

Access to all my info is within the touch of button. Really simple to use and is laid out in a nice interface. Works great on mobile and web.

Not all the apps available online are available in mobile app (e.g. Insurance, flex spending) so you still have to use website.
