It's very user friendly, for both myself and my clients.
I get my own website that I can specialize. I get ease of delivery of programs to online clients.
Avantages
How quick it is to add workouts with my own videos. How easy it is to communicate with clients. The layout.
Inconvénients
I think there should be a tab to go directly to a clients plan, the drop down list doesn't always populate for me.

Solid but could use some key things
I have been using the product for several months and most of my clients and I like it. It is easy to use and set up plans, etc however the nutrition and meal plan component is outside of the app requires additional $$. It's linked with Trainerize but not truly a part of it.
Also one of the frustrations was adjusting workouts on the fly from my mobile device. Often I have had clients come in and say today I had a rough day, I just want to crank on weights. Even though I have a plan laid out for them I need to adjust on the fly, or they have had a sore spot and need to adjust the routine. This is cumbersome and virtually impossible from my phone and I am not carrying a laptop to every session.
Outside of that it has been awesome, reliable, etc. I would recommend it especially the price is reasonable for what you get.

I liked that I have the option to upload my own workout videos and design the workouts program specific to my clients as well as monitor client progress and interact daily with them
Inconvénients
Designing the workouts takes a bit longer to put together, not sure if due to amount of videos - should be easier.

best choice I made for software
I love this software and my clients do too! It's been a great solution to stream line my clients' workouts and track their progress. The mobile app is awesome and easy to use, my clients like the accountability factor- they are given "gentle reminders" each morning on their workout of the day. I love the ability to chart their progress and upload my own videos and create custom exercises.
There are only 2 issues- I ran into a technical glitch that hasn't been resolved yet regarding looking up my existing workout templates. I found a way to navigate around that. The other, I wish I could have a record of past training plans with clients. Once you update a client's training plan, all the past workouts are removed.
Otherwise I am completely satisfied with Trainerize!

I have saved so much time sorting through paperwork, creating workout videos to send people along with their plans and have become much better at keeping in contact with my clients.
Avantages
I can keep all my clients organized in one place and do not have to worry about keeping track of when their plans need updated.

At first, I found it difficult to use on my cellphone until I got the hang of it. Other than that - I have no complaints.

Awesome Personal Training management software
Amazingly easy web based software that helps me manage my clients with ease. I wouldn't be without this as I'm so awful at admin so Trainerize keeps everything in its place.
The training app that is included is loved by my clients and makes updating programmes super simple. The ability to be able to message my clients through the app is also great. The app is universal but I'd love to have the ability to brand it to my own company. Hopefully this is something the team is working on.
The team at Trainerize actually listens to issues and improve the service regularly.
I've tried several pieces of software but none of them compare to Trainerize. I'll be using the software to expand my business in the next few months

A simple App gone complete RIGHT
Trainerize has helped my personal training business become successful. I train my clients one on one and online and Trainerize helps them feel more accountable, and thus brings the best results for them.
Trainerize is extremely easy to use and easy for clients to use. The mobile app is great, quick and makes it easy for clients to check in and track their stats for workouts.
I love that I'm able to message and communicate with clients via Trainerize also.

Solid App/Site with Steady Improvements
I have been using Trainerize as a client for almost 3 months and have appreciated the relative ease of use of the product. It's quite simple to track workouts and also create your own via the Freestyle method. The hooks to social apps such as MyFitnessPal, etc. allow my trainer to closely track my nutritional balance and make suggestions where needed.
The only gripe I have is the disconnect in functionality between the website and app. There are things I can do on the app (like creating a freestyle workout) that I cannot do on the website... and vice-versa.
The do consistently update the functionality with new features which is appreciated. Overall it's a wonderful tool for remote training.

The ability to highly customize the clients training experience while also developing a personal brand.
Avantages
I like most about Trainerize the ability to manage the clients schedule, add a customized welcome video and create new exercises in the training library.
Inconvénients
I least like that Trainerize charges per client, making it difficult to continue offering access to the app to less consistent clients who sometimes take hiatuses from training but come back to their trainer (it's like starting new every time or paying for a client who's not paying the trainer).

It has been great. So easy to learn and grow within the system.
Hard to list all the pro's because there are so many. If you have a system for coaching clients this platform is so adaptable that it becomes a super efficient delivery system for you to your clients wherever they may be.
Literally the only Con is that the field and space is growing so fast it is nearly impossible to keep up with the demand for improved features and technical aspects of the platform. However, they do a tremendous job (without drastically increasing the price of the product) of continually improving the platform. AGAIN, without out-pricing their clients. Actually, now that I finish that train of thought this is also a PRO! Great job and thank you.

Its a bit pricey so if you are just starting out its tough. You want to impress your clients but its hard to buy into the packages at that price. However the platform is wonderful and my clients thoroughly love it

It is great that your trainers can contact you throught the app and they plan your work out through there. There are some videos that you can watch to make sure you are doing the excercises correctly.

Sometimes the app would stop working and I had to reopen.

Avantages
Clients find the app very easy to use and great for tracking everything. The messenger and client progress display are my favourite pieces.

The demonstration videos aren't great. Clear instructions but just lack some enthusiasm.

Trainerize is a great app overall.
The plus side: The pricing model is fair, easy customization, intuitive auto-generated activities that keep the customer engaged. The trainerize videos are really good from a technical aspect. You can definitely tell a trainer was responsible for the app's development. Integration with my Fitness Pal is a great feature.
The areas to improve: More trainerize videos, additional payment methods (Amex).
Must have to get 5 starts: Integration with a HR based app! Endomondo is my favorite, but I'd be happy with any so clients could go to 1 app for their workouts.

My personal trainer asked me to use this software for when he trained me. It was mediocre in my opinion as he later told me to use other apps such as TrueCoach which was way better.

It's not that it was bad, it just wasn't as good as the other software options out there that help you keep track of your workouts.

i used it for the free 30 day trial to see if it would be better than the current software i use. Clients prefered the other software for ease of use.

I like that there are demo videos for the exercises. This decreases confusion for my clients when they are training.

Also, being able to put notes next to the workout is very beneficial. This eliminates confusion for my clients. Extremely helpful for online training.

Not very mobile friendly. I have to use my computer often times. To me that is a waste of time. Being able to use it on my phone is extremely important to me.

Trainerize will keep your membership organized
Trainerize is a platform to help you keep track of your clients, typically for personal training. It is easy to use and you can use the free trial for up to 1 client. Any more than that and you have to pay a monthly subscription based on how many clients you have.
Avantages
Trainerize is simple and easy to use. There are many categories in which you can keep track of your client's progress. You can use this to track their training, nutrition, habits, etc.
Inconvénients
I did not like that going from 2 to 5 clients is about a $12/month addition. I think the price increase should be a bit more gradual.
